Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 87.2

Chapter 87 2\2

“I don’t want to; I want to be with Dad.” Jiang Li lay on Lu Jing’s back. On the way back, it was always Dad who carried him. After finishing the call, he went back to sleep for a nap.

Lu Jing was a bit puzzled. Was his son just now trying to complain to Uncle Cen on the phone?

Since his son made the call, Uncle Cen changed his morning run route to pass by the Jiang family every day, accompanying Jiang Li for a short distance.

Later, it became a habit. When Lu Jing wasn’t at home, Uncle Cen would come over on weekends and during school vacations to accompany the morning exercise.

Except on rainy days. During the second year of junior high school summer vacation, it rained heavily every day right from the start, and Jiang Li stayed at home reading books for several days.

When the rain stopped, Uncle Cen didn’t come.

Jiang Wanlan came back and told his son, “Your Uncle Cen went for closed military training. If he gets into high school, he may have to transfer.”

Jiang Li was stunned. “Can’t we have biscuits together during breaks anymore?”

Jiang Wanlan said, “Maybe that’s the case. You can eat biscuits with other classmates.”

“Uncle Cen is going to become a special forces member like Dad!”

Jiang Li became a little excited. “At what age did Dad become a special forces?”

Jiang Wanlan hesitated. “Uh, around twenty years old.”

Jiang Li asked, “Is Uncle Cen cooler then?”

Jiang Wanlan refuted, “Not really.”

Jiang Li said, “Oh.”

After learning more words and acquiring more knowledge, Jiang Li could read a lot of popular science articles in medicine without any obstacles.

He read for almost half of the summer vacation. One day, while playing with his watch, he suddenly turned on the location function and found that Uncle Cen’s location was hidden.

Did he turn off his phone?

Or is the location of the closed training area not displayed on the map?

When Jiang Wanlan finished work, Jiang Ping asked his dad, “Can I visit Grandpa Cen?”

Jiang Wanlan replied, “Sure.”

Father and son went to visit, and Jiang Wanlan brought many gifts, from Uncle Cen to Uncle Cen’s father, mother, and grandfather, not missing anyone.

Uncle Cen’s father and mother were not at home; only Uncle Cen’s brother, Cen Wei, was there. Jiang Ping sat next to him, his fingers pressing on his knees. When Dad and Grandpa finished chatting, he suddenly asked, “Grandpa, where is my brother?”

Cen Wei was caught off guard and sighed subconsciously. Like being caught by the beard, Jiang Li stood in front of him and asked, “Did my brother really go for training?”

Jiang Wanlan didn’t know why his son suddenly questioned. He shouted, “Baby.”

Jiang Li looked at Cen Wei.

Cen Wei smiled helplessly. “It’s something Uncle Cen told me not to say.”

“Your brother really didn’t go for closed training. He differentiated into an Alpha a while ago, but his pheromones are a bit strange; they can attack himself and others.”

Jiang Li had already learned about pheromones, and he asked with concern, “Does it hurt?”

“It does,” Cen Wei said with distress. “Fortunately, his parents worked overtime with the doctors to develop a special antidote. He doesn’t hurt anymore, but people around him still do.”

“Uncle Cen wants to learn to control his own pheromones. He can’t let others take medicine with him.”

Jiang Wanlan was surprised. There was really more to it; he hadn’t thought about it so much. After all, Uncle Cen was preparing in advance to join the space force, which seemed reasonable.

His son was quite clever.

Jiang Li asked, “So where is my brother now? Can I go see him?”

Cen Wei said, “Brother is in closed-door cultivation and can’t be disturbed.”

Jiang Li lowered his eyes. “I understand, Grandpa.”

Jiang Li had his dad order many books on pheromones and immerse himself in reading.

Jiang Wanlan asked, “Baby, how did you figure it out?”

Little Jiang Li said, “Because my brother didn’t tell me in person.”

Jiang Wanlan thought about it and found it reasonable.

Little Jiang Li mysteriously said to his dad, “Dad, I know where my brother is.”

“Oh?”

That day at Uncle Cen’s house, Jiang Li saw the aunt making sandwiches. Based on his frequent visits to Uncle Cen’s house, the aunt only made them for his brother; others didn’t like to eat them.

Sending food from home indicated that his brother’s place of closed-door cultivation was not far away.

After looking at the map for a long time and checking the no-fly zones for aircraft, Jiang Li felt that a rumored military air defense cave was very likely.

Jiang Li begged his dad to take him there.

Jiang Wanlan had some reservations but tried to comfort him: “Baby, look, Grandpa Cen isn’t very worried. It means your brother is doing well. Let’s wait for him to come out.”

“But my brother said he might transfer schools. I might not see him again.”

Jiang Wanlan was persuaded by his son’s meticulous logic and couldn’t resist his plea, “Alright, alright, Dad will take you for a look around.”

Jiang Wanlan drove, taking his son around the underground city. Indeed, he saw guards like the ones from the Cen family patrolling.

Jiang Li said, “Let’s say hello to Uncle Guard.”

Jiang Wanlan couldn’t refuse his son’s polite request, “Alright.”

When a guard came to check a suspicious vehicle, little Jiang Li lowered the car window and greeted loudly, “Uncle Wang Wang! I came to visit my brother!”

Thinking it was the old man who told the address, Wang Wang replied, “Ah, the young master knows; he must be very happy!”

Little Jiang Li immediately opened the car door and came out, “Let’s go, let’s go.”

Jiang Wanlan said, “…”

Well, the guard didn’t stop them, so it should be fine.

Wang Wang took Jiang Li to the entrance of the underground city. This place was originally a military air defense cave temporarily transformed for Cen Leng’s closed-door cultivation.

Little Jiang Li shouted a few times for his brother at the entrance, and when Wang Wang wasn’t paying attention, he slipped in.

Jiang Wanlan was scared to death. Just as he was about to rush in, the gate opened again, and little Jiang Li was dragged out.

Cen Leng said with displeasure, “Dare to barge into any place. Aren’t you afraid there’s a tiger inside?!”
