Easy To Deceive
Easy To Deceive chapter 32

He said he would confess, but Yu Nian procrastinated for two weeks without figuring out what he should do. Should he forcefully push Qi Wang onto the bed and say, “I like you,” or should he arrange a romantic confession under the maple trees, reciting love letters like in a romantic drama?

But he had never written a love letter, nor had he received one.

These days, confessing was either done face to face or through messages on a phone. Even if there were letters hidden in desk drawers, they no longer contained the heartfelt emotions of young girls; most likely, they were invitations to concerts or amusement parks, with an air that brooked no refusal.

Yu Nian thought he might as well learn from these girls and confront Qi Wang with an imposing manner, wearing an expression that brooked no negotiation.

It would be best to catch Qi Wang off guard and push him onto the bed, seizing the opportunity to make his move decisively.

But unfortunately, Qi Wang seemed stronger than him.

If he were cornered, he would only look innocent, but Qi Wang could probably turn the tables and give him a beating.

This made Yu Nian sigh deeply. English words on the test paper floated before his eyes, one after another, without him remembering a single one.

Qi Wang was also sitting beside him, reading a picture book. Hearing Yu Nian’s sigh, he turned his head.

That day happened to be their day off. Yu Nian insisted on staying in Qi Wang’s room to study, claiming that it was brighter and warmer, and he could focus better being by Qi Wang’s side.

Complete nonsense.

But Qi Wang didn’t mind too much. He didn’t point out Yu Nian’s nonsense but allowed him to lie on his single bed.

However, after Yu Nian came to his room, he observed him coldly. It seemed that he hadn’t done many questions on the test paper and was lost in thought from time to time.

“What’s wrong with you?” After thinking for a moment, he asked, “Why are you sighing?”

Recently, Yu Nian seemed to have something on his mind, often lost in thought and looking at him with a pensive gaze.

Yu Nian raised his head and looked at Qi Wang pensively.

He thought to himself, ‘Why am I sighing?’

If you’d just let me push you down obediently, I wouldn’t sigh.

But of course, he couldn’t say that.

He casually flipped through the English reading material in his hand, using it as an excuse.

“It’s nothing. This reading material is incomprehensible. I can’t understand a word.”

That was complete nonsense. He was very fluent in English; he could have a clear conversation about football with a little foreigner when he was twelve years old.

He just randomly picked up an IELTS test paper to see if he had regressed.

Qi Wang believed him, though.

He stood up from the sofa and walked over to Yu Nian.

He also sat on the bed, causing the mattress to sink slightly. He supported himself beside Yu Nian with one hand and took the pen from the test paper with the other.

From the posture alone, Yu Nian was completely enveloped in his arms.

He lowered his head slightly to look at the reading passage on the test paper.

A faint scent of grapefruit shower gel wafted gently upwards.

Yu Nian froze completely.

He felt like a cat being held by the scruff of its neck, even his fingertips were frozen in place.

With his back to Qi Wang, he couldn’t see Qi Wang’s expression, but if he moved back even slightly, he would be pressed against Qi Wang’s warm and solid chest.

Qi Wang’s hand was also very close to him, his long and powerful fingers holding a black neutral pen, appearing fair as jade.

He even lightened his breathing because if he turned his head slightly, he would be facing Qi Wang’s profile.

He felt Qi Wang drawing closer to him a bit more, the black neutral pen gliding over the snow-white test paper, casually writing down a word.

“Choose ‘sustainable’,” Qi Wang said softly, “Look for key information in the blank space and find synonyms in the original text to replace it.”

Qi Wang’s voice was clear and cold, like the autumn wind blowing outside the window.

Yu Nian was startled.

He lowered his head to look at the question as well.

He furrowed his brows slightly, looking at Qi Wang strangely.

The question was indeed “sustainable,” and he had just seen the answer.

But this set of questions should not be easy for ordinary high school students.

Suddenly, Song Yunchun’s words flashed through his mind, “Qi Wang’s grades are really good.”

He became even more puzzled.

With such good grades, why didn’t he go to university but instead worked in a small coffee shop?

“What’s wrong?” Qi Wang also turned his head to look at him, “Are there any other questions you don’t understand?”

Yu Nian shook his head.

He was no longer interested in doing the paper and put it away.

It was nearing November, and these days the temperature had dropped, but perhaps because the room was narrow, closing the door still felt warm as spring.

He lay on Qi Wang’s blanket, watching Qi Wang without blinking.

His gaze passed over the art book Qi Wang had spread out on the table and the unfinished still life drawing in the corner.

Since he had been lazing around in Qi Wang’s room during the day, he had discovered many things in Qi Wang’s room that he hadn’t noticed before.

Paintbrushes, paints, art books, and there were also many high school textbooks and test papers on the bookshelf.

But usually, everything would be neatly arranged, the easel would be covered with a cloth, and even the glass cabinet doors on the bookshelf were not transparent.

It was hard to notice without staying here for long.

Yu Nian stretched like a cat and then gently curled up again.

He rested his head on Qi Wang’s blanket, staring at Qi Wang without blinking.

Qi Wang was wearing a set of white one-piece loungewear, with a deep red robe on top. The soft silk material clung intimately to his body, wrapping around every curve gently. With a slight movement, the silk would slip down, revealing his slender legs and ankles.

Yu Nian seemed a little bored and tugged lightly on Qi Wang’s sleeve.

“Can you paint portraits, Qi Wang,” he looked up at Qi Wang from below, his long eyelashes and fair, soft profile giving him a mischievous smile, “Like Jack did for Rose in Titanic?”

Qi Wang frowned at the question but chuckled, “I can sketch figures, but not like that.” He casually picked up a book and tapped Yu Nian’s head with it, “What are you thinking about?”

It was understandable for an art student to draw figures.

But Jack and Rose’s relationship was intimate and ambiguous, the strokes capturing the unspoken words, silent whispers of love.

He wasn’t sure what Yu Nian was asking.

Was he asking if he had ever painted such a portrait for a girl, or simply if he had ever painted a figure?

But Yu Nian’s intentions were far from that.

Hearing Qi Wang’s answer, he rolled around, sitting up from the blanket.

He sat very close to Qi Wang, his ankles resting on Qi Wang’s legs.

“Then can you paint me, and I’ll be your model,” Yu Nian’s eyes sparkled, “When you become famous in the future, I’ll be considered a shrewd angel investor with sharp eyes.”

Qi Wang was taken aback, then chuckled.

“You?” He found it amusing, his gaze wandering over Yu Nian’s slim shoulders, drooping arms, and slender ankles.

“Do you want to be my muse too?” He asked Yu Nian, his voice husky.

He thought Yu Nian was joking, his lips curled downwards as he glanced at Yu Nian, a hint of laziness and teasing in his eyes, unlike his usual serious demeanor.

He leaned back against the wall, his hair messy, his shirt wrinkled, exuding a different kind of sensuality than usual, even a bit frivolous.

But he didn’t realize it himself.

His gaze measured every detail of Yu Nian’s body, truly like the most discerning painter scrutinizing his model.

Yu Nian felt a bit nervous under his gaze, half kneeling on the bed. The deep red silk robe shimmered with a faint light, highlighting his snow-white, soft face.

He was undoubtedly handsome.

But too tender, like willow leaves drifting in the spring breeze, with a hint of tender green.

Qi Wang shook his head, teasing Yu Nian, “You, this still undeveloped little kid, even if you lie in front of me like Rose, you wouldn’t be as sexy as her.”

Although he had no interest in romance, he could still appreciate the beauty and sensuality of women.

When he saw Jack drawing Rose on the big screen, he could feel the almost palpable charm.

He could even understand Jack. At that moment, he was both Rose’s lover and a bystander artist.

When he was painting, he should have been free from distractions but was also the most emotional painter, leaving the eternal beauty of his beloved on paper.

Yu Nian bit his lip, feeling a surge of dissatisfaction.

He could tell Qi Wang was teasing him. Yes, he was a boy.

His slender, thin body was completely different from the curvy figures of girls.

Compared to mature and voluptuous women like Rose, he couldn’t compete at all. She could captivate anyone with just a smile, while he was just an eighteen-year-old boy who hadn’t fully developed, sitting in the classroom writing those mundane black-and-white test papers.

Perhaps he could attract the attention of girls his age.

But in front of Qi Wang.

He was dull and uninteresting.

But he was also so unwilling to accept it.

He even looked at Qi Wang with a bit of anger, feeling humiliated that his crush found him unattractive. It was simply shameful.

Too embarrassing.

“Why am I not good enough? What’s wrong with your taste? You don’t understand appreciation at all.” He pounced over, really pinning Qi Wang down.

Qi Wang thought he was just fooling around and didn’t resist, still smiling.

But soon, the curve of his lips froze.

Yu Nian sat on his thighs, not putting his full weight, so it wasn’t too heavy.

But then, Yu Nian quickly removed his own belt.

He was wearing a spacious dark red robe on the outside, decorated with patterns of flying swallows and auspicious clouds on the collar and cuffs, shining brightly, contrasting nicely with his fair face.

But now, this robe was piled up on the bed.

Along with the white soft inner shirt that Yu Nian was wearing inside, he pulled it off himself, hanging it around his waist.

The fair skin of the young man was exposed, as delicate as new snow.

His neck was slender and elegant like a swan’s, his collarbones slim and long, down his chest, his waist narrow but not weak, but firm and tight.

Because of Yu Nian’s movements, Qi Wang accidentally touched Yu Nian’s skin.

Yu Nian was raised in a pampered environment, born into a world of wealth and fame, orphaned at a young age but sheltered by his siblings from the storm.

Raised and indulged by the entire family, his skin was as fair and flawless as jade, as delicate as satin, as beautiful as a secluded girl.

Qi Wang only lightly touched him, but it felt like he had been burned and quickly withdrew.

His gaze fell on Yu Nian’s face, a beautiful, lively face, now pouting in annoyance.

The daylight outside was still bright.

Yu Nian sat up straight, the window beside him allowing a beam of light to shine in, illuminating his snow-white skin, dazzlingly bright.

Qi Wang was momentarily stunned.

He had always known Yu Nian was good-looking.

He knew that customers in the restaurant would sometimes come specifically to see Yu Nian, looking at him with admiration.

But he had never been so acutely aware of this fact until now.

And Yu Nian had no idea what Qi Wang was thinking.

Without further ado, Yu Nian swiftly kicked off his pajama pants.

Now, he unexpectedly and boldly appeared in front of Qi Wang.

He moved closer to Qi Wang, his body flawless, with round shoulders, straight slender legs, even his toes seemed to have a touch of pink.

Qi Wang didn’t know where to look.

Few people would find it difficult to face the body of someone of the same sex, after all, everyone was more or less the same, nothing special to see.

But Yu Nian was different.

He couldn’t quite pinpoint what was different, but he felt a pang in his heart.

Yu Nian was like a fawn hidden in the forest, every curve bathed in sunlight, soaked in spring water, emitting a faint scent of grass and berries.

He felt a little flustered for a moment.

But Yu Nian seemed completely unaware.

Yu Nian grabbed his arm, relentlessly demanding him to look at him.

The distance between the two suddenly narrowed, he reached out to push, but couldn’t really use force.

Inexplicably pushing and shoving a few times, Yu Nian ended up sitting on his lap.

Through the thin layer of soft fabric, he seemed to feel the warmth emanating from Yu Nian’s body.

Qi Wang’s body became even stiffer.

Yu Nian looked smugly at Qi Wang.

He wasn’t blind, how could he not see that Qi Wang seemed a bit at a loss now.

This fact made him feel very pleased.

He was too young, in the future, he would become a charming adult man with every move exuding charm.

But now he was as clumsy as a newly hatched swan.

He looked at Qi Wang’s avoiding gaze with satisfaction, feeling triumphant.

He wanted to tease Qi Wang but didn’t know how to proceed.

“You said I’m not attractive, then why don’t you look at me,” Yu Nian said cheekily, “I don’t care, I just want to be your model, paint me a portrait, and I’ll lock it in the safe.”

As he spoke, he leaned even closer to Qi Wang.

His upper body leaned forward slightly, legs resting on Qi Wang’s legs, his ankles brushing against Qi Wang’s lightly.

Qi Wang simply didn’t know how he and Yu Nian had ended up in this situation.

“Don’t mess around,” he lowered his voice, wanting to scold Yu Nian, but didn’t know where to start, “Get off me.”

But Yu Nian inexplicably gained some arrogant confidence.

“No, unless you paint for me, sketches are quick, right? It’ll only take half an hour.”

Yu Nian grabbed his neck, relentless.

The two bodies were tightly intertwined, every movement of Qi Wang’s could rub against Yu Nian’s skin.

He lowered his head to meet Yu Nian’s gaze.

Yu Nian’s eyes were bright, unyielding.

For a moment, Qi Wang wanted to explode.

Yu Nian’s provocation was simply asking for trouble.

With Yu Nian’s physique, he could easily pick him up with one hand and throw him out the door.

During his reckless past, he had thrown people down the stairs and broken their ribs, snapped their wrists.

Now Yu Nian’s wrist was right by his side, and if he wanted to, he could just grab Yu Nian’s wrist and perhaps make him back down.

However, after the two stared at each other for a long time, it was Qi Wang who first yielded.

“Get up,” he said to Yu Nian, “You are lying on me, how can I draw you?”

Yu Nian’s eyes suddenly lit up.
