Pheromone Collision Chapter 99.2

Chapter 99 2/2

Jiang Li hesitated before saying, “Well, I did go there.”

Jiang Wanlan said, “You haven’t eaten much today. Think of something you can eat, and Dad will make it for you.”

Jiang Li went through a mental menu and said, “I want some small dumplings with pickled cabbage and sour radish.”

Before getting married, Jiang Wanlan rarely cooked, and during his relationship with Lu Jing, he barely lifted a finger in the kitchen. However, after Jiang Li was born, he learned a bit of cooking, including taking out the small dumplings Lu Jing had made from the fridge, pouring them into boiling water, and adding a bit of pickled cabbage and sour radish as garnish.

Oh, and the sour radish was also pickled by Lu Jing.

The freshly cooked small dumplings were steaming hot. Jiang Wanlan wasn’t stingy and left a portion for the two Alphas in the basement to replenish their energy.

The sour radish was crispy and white as snow.

Jiang Wanlan asked, “Can Cen Lang pickle sour radish?”

Jiang Li replied, “I don’t think so.”

Cen Lang always brought him food, but it was either made by the house chef or bought outside.

Jiang Wanlan asked again, “Can he make small dumplings?”

Jiang Li said, “I don’t think so either.”

Jiang Wanlan continued, “Then what can he do?”

Jiang Li replied, “He can do physical labor.”

In the basement,

Cen Lang almost emptied the basement, filling the entrance of the tunnel with all sorts of furniture. He had left a way for himself to easily move things by arranging them in a structure that could be easily moved aside, but it was quickly discovered by his father-in-law.

Cen Lang sealed it up honestly.

No problem, as long as there was a need, he was willing to spend a few more hours moving things to clear a path.

Cen Lang saw Lu Jing measuring the entrance and estimated that he wanted to add another door. If it weren’t for the fact that it was late at night and inconvenient to disturb others, Lu Jing would probably have welded it shut overnight.

Lu Jing had a black face the whole time, just thinking about the tea Cen Lang had poured for him was depressing.

Cen Lang had a thick skin and was willing to do whatever needed to be done. Finally, Lu Jing was satisfied.

Looking around the empty basement, Cen Lang sighed. Dr. Jiang wouldn’t have an excuse to come to the basement next time. Not to mention rats, not even cockroaches would be there anymore.

When Cen Lang came up, Jiang Li had just finished the last dumpling.

“Do you like this? I’ll learn from Dad.”

As the fourth member of the family for the past twenty years, Cen Lang knew clearly which foods Lu Jing made and which ones were made by the aunt during the day.

Jiang Li paused, wondering what had happened in the basement that made everyone call him “Dad.”

Jiang Wanlan nudged Lu Jing with his elbow, asking why he had let Jiang Li change his address. He had changed sides so quickly. Alphas really liked solving problems with fights.

Lu Jing was shocked. Besides directing Cen Lang to move things, he hadn’t said a word.

But now, did he have to say, “Don’t call me Dad”?

Even if he wasn’t satisfied, they were still a family now, sooner or later.

He had never seen anyone like this, ready to fight at the drop of a hat. Perhaps Jiang Li had been caught in a moment of impulse and was stuck, only able to be seen as a boyfriend.

Jiang Li scooped two bowls of dumplings from the pot, the bigger one for Dad, and placed it in front of Lu Jing. “Dad, have some supper.”

The smaller one for Cen Lang, Jiang Li said, “If you have a talent, you’ll know how to make them after you finish.”

Cen Lang gladly replied, “I must have that talent.”

After finishing the dumplings, Cen Lang suggested to Jiang Li, “Do you want to go out for a walk and aid digestion?”

Jiang Li replied, “Dad, can we?”

Jiang Wanlan said, “Of course.”

After the young couple left, Jiang Wanlan went into the bedroom and was hit by a shock, collapsing onto the pillow.

His baby was having a baby!

Jiang Wanlan pinched his thigh,

Ouch, it hurt. It wasn’t a dream. He had seen the relationship between these two little ones, sometimes even surpassing the brotherly relationship. He had thought Jiang Li wouldn’t come around until he was at least forty! If it weren’t for the interference of pheromones, he might have waited a long time.

It was all Lu Jing’s fault! Jiang Li trusted Cen Lang too much!

Lu Jing said, “How is this related to me?”

Jiang Wanlan replied, “Who asked you to have the same profession as Cen Lang? Baby has a professional filter, just like trusting you as much as trusting Cen Lang.”

Jiang Li dared to “treat” Cen Lang without considering the consequences. Did he really not think he might get pregnant? Clearly, he didn’t care!

He was sure Cen Lang would accept it and be a good father like Lu Jing.

Of course, family was Jiang Li’s backbone, and Jiang Wanlan was a bit proud of this.

Lu Jing dared not say it, but it was clearly Jiang Wanlan who had asked him to teach Cen Lang a few special forces skills, thanking Cen Lang for his care for Jiang Li’s little brother.

After Cen Lang was sent back that evening, he went to the lab to inform his parents and prepare early.

“I’ve already changed my address to Uncle Lu.”

Cen’s parents looked at each other, not unhappy, as anyone would be happy.

But their son was the “guilty party” and they were ashamed to face the parents of the other party.

After all, it was Lu Jing and Jiang Wanlan’s precious treasure, Jiang Li.

Cen’s parents, two geniuses specializing in research, encountered the most difficult situation of their lives.

That night, the two of them lay in bed.

“Can you sleep?”

“I can’t sleep.”

“Why is your son so shameless?”

“I don’t know.”
