Mrs. Fu patted her hand, saying, “It’s okay, buying a few more won’t hurt. You can wear one piece each day, and before you know it, you’ll have rotated through them all.”

Wei Yuxian reluctantly picked out five more items, saying, “Really, Mrs. Fu, this is enough. I can’t wear so many.”

Seeing her expression, Mrs. Fu knew it was her limit and didn’t insist further, saying, “Alright, let’s just buy these for today.”

Wei Yuxian breathed a sigh of relief, wiping away the non-existent sweat from her forehead, thinking she could go to the checkout counter. However, the next moment, the manager led her to the trousers section.

Mrs. Fu, on the other hand, was delighted. She had bought Wei Yuxian many new clothes and, while paying, she smiled and said to those around her, “Yuxian, from now on, you’ll wear these clothes. If you need more, just ask Xuanyi to take you shopping.”

Wei Yuxian smiled wryly and weakly responded, “Okay, Mrs. Fu.”

She glanced at Fu Xuanyi, who was making the payment. He didn’t even bat an eye at the tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of items; he simply took out his card and swiped it, exuding extravagance!

The salesperson smiled as they helped pack the clothes. It took five minutes to pack everything.

The bodyguards behind them were quick to step forward and take the bags, following closely behind their master.

Exiting the clothing store, Wei Yuxian couldn’t help but shiver, thinking she could never come to such places again in the future.

Mrs. Fu finally relaxed and took Wei Yuxian to the elevator, pressing the button for the seventh floor.

Wei Yuxian wondered why she pressed the button for the seventh floor. Did they still need to buy something else?

She hurriedly asked, “Mrs. Fu, aren’t we going back?”

Going back, they should press the button for the first floor.

Mrs. Fu said, “No rush, let’s buy something else. We’ll have dinner once we get back.”

Wei Yuxian’s heart skipped a beat. She asked, “Is there anything else to buy? Didn’t we finish buying clothes?”

Mrs. Fu didn’t directly tell her, saying, “You’ll know soon.”

The elevator quickly reached the seventh floor. When the doors opened, they were greeted by various electronic products: phones, computers, tablets, watches, and more.

Wei Yuxian remembered her inexpensive phone, which she had used for several years despite its slow performance. It was overdue for replacement, but she continued using it out of need.

She hadn’t thought about replacing it yet. If it still worked, she’d keep using it. If it became unusable, then she’d consider getting a new one.

She hadn’t expected Mrs. Fu to even consider this, and to be honest, she felt quite touched. The feeling of being cared for and looked after was truly wonderful; she wasn’t alone anymore.

But she couldn’t comfortably accept Mrs. Fu’s kindness.

Mrs. Fu took Wei Yuxian to a well-known phone store, a big brand with loud advertisements on TV. Wei Yuxian recognized the brand.

As soon as they entered, Mrs. Fu asked for the best phones to be brought out. There were several colors, and they were placed in front of Wei Yuxian for her to choose from.

Wei Yuxian didn’t want to choose and negotiated with Mrs. Fu, saying, “Mrs. Fu, my phone still works fine. There’s no need to spend so much.”

“Your phone needs to be replaced. Get a better one so I can contact you more easily in the future,” Mrs. Fu insisted. “Pick a color you like.”

Wei Yuxian continued to persuade Mrs. Fu, trying to make her give up the idea of buying a phone.

After a few attempts, Mrs. Fu remained adamant about buying one, and the two began to argue.

After about two minutes, Wei Yuxian heard a cold voice say, “This one.”

It was Fu Xuanyi who didn’t want to see them argue any longer, so he made a decision for Wei Yuxian, hoping for some peace and quiet.

He chose a white one, which was the best-looking among all the colors. It must be said that his taste was excellent.

The staff handed over the phone and said with a smile, “Alright, let us show you the phone.”

After turning on the phone, the staff demonstrated some of its functions and provided basic information.

Fu Xuanyi wasn’t interested in any of it, feeling it was a waste of time and wanting to finish the purchase as soon as possible to return home.

Accompanying women shopping was indeed troublesome, he decided in his mind.

Wei Yuxian wanted to voice her refusal, but before she could, Fu Xuanyi’s gaze silenced her.

She understood what Fu Xuanyi’s eyes were trying to convey: not to cause trouble for him.

Wei Yuxian could only close her mouth, refraining from saying anything, quietly watching as the staff packed the phone.

Mrs. Fu stopped the staff and said, “No need to pack it, let’s insert the SIM card now. Yuxian, hand over the phone.”

Wei Yuxian remained silent, taking out the phone and handing it to the staff.

The staff skillfully transferred the SIM card to the new phone and copied the data from the old one. They then asked, “Is there any other service you would like to avail?”

Mrs. Fu thought for a moment and requested to upgrade Wei Yuxian’s data plan to unlimited, so she wouldn’t have to worry about data limits. Additionally, she added some credit to her account and reminded Fu Xuanyi to ensure the phone bill is topped up every month.

Fu Xuanyi nodded in acknowledgment.

Leaving the phone store, Wei Yuxian now had a new phone in her hand, but she still couldn’t bring herself to discard the old one.

Later, Mrs. Fu also purchased a tablet and a laptop for her, both of excellent quality, to use for school.

Wei Yuxian couldn’t refuse and could only accept numbly.
