Chapter 112 2/2
“We’ll soon be able to attend a real wedding!”
“Will we need banners then?”
“Are you trying to escape the financial burden, kid?”
The little one enjoyed the feast, and Jiang Li rubbed his chubby belly. “Didn’t you say we were going out for business?”
Cen Lang: “Ahem, I had a meeting with them and just happened to have a meal.”
Can banners also be just a coincidence? Jiang Li felt like he would dream about this scene tonight.
Jiang Wangxing blinked. “A meeting?”
Was it because of the meeting that they could have a feast? The uncles were really interesting.
“Dad, I also want to have a meeting.”
Jiang Wanlan seized the opportunity: “Kid, Grandpa will take you to a meeting.”
Cen Lang and Lu Jing’s military meetings were not suitable for him, and Jiang Li’s academic meetings were also out of the question. Only Jiang Zong’s meeting was the most appropriate.
The next day, Jiang Wanlan took the little one to the company to work.
Completely forgetting about the cabbage in the garden.
To be honest, after what happened yesterday with him and Lu Jing, it was hard for them to remember that Cen Lang hadn’t pursued Jiang Baobao yet.
The cabbage seemed to be in the garden but was actually in the nest.
The little one attended two meetings with Jiang Wanlan quietly without causing any trouble, looking like a qualified successor to anyone who saw him.
Jiang Wanlan even thought that eight-year-olds could start working until, five minutes into the meeting, he glanced down and saw the little one sleeping with his eyes closed.
Jiang Wanlan held the little one in his arms, the expensive and luxurious watch on his wrist contrasting sharply with Jiang Wangxing’s sleeping face.
Those who didn’t know would think he was Jiang Wanlan’s child. After being informed that he was Jiang Zong’s grandson, they would be amazed.
Wasn’t this the most beautiful and youngest grandfather in the galaxy?
“Meeting adjourned,” Jiang Wanlan said.
The little one woke up as if hearing the end-of-class bell: “Grandpa, you’ve worked hard.”
Jiang Wanlan: “No, I haven’t.”
He had once fantasised about taking Jiang Baobao, who clung to him, to work, and it should be like this.
At dinner, Jiang Li asked his son how the meeting was.
Jiang Wangxing: “Dad, I fell asleep.”
Jiang Li: “…”
Jiang Wangxing tried hard to express that the meeting was not what he had imagined.
Jiang Li: “What kind of meeting do you want?”
Jiang Wangxing’s eyes lit up with anticipation. “With lots of grandpas, two dads, and big brother Black Wind.”
What kind of meeting could gather Cen Lang, Jiang Zong, and Jiang Li? Representatives from all walks of life?
Cen Lang: “Kid, do you want to have a family meeting?”
The little one didn’t understand and nodded directly.
Cen Lang professionally suggested, “I think we can set aside time once a week for the whole family to discuss recent work and life and vote on important family matters.”
As he said this, Lu Jing’s face stiffened. He was the first to want to oppose it; he didn’t want to speak up.
Jiang Wanlan: “Sounds good, doesn’t it?”
Lu Jing: “…”
Cen Lang silently imagined the scene where their marriage was unanimously approved at the family meeting.
“Kid, Dad will arrange it for you.” Cen Lang was full of fatherly love.
Jiang Wangxing: “Okay!”
Jiang Li: “…” When did he agree to have family meetings with the Cen family?
No matter how well-packaged it was, wasn’t it just the parents meeting each other?
Unconsciously, he had let Cen Lang completely invade his life, except for the lack of intimate contact.
Many times, Jiang Li could see Cen Lang restraining himself. After all, with the omega he liked in front of him, they had marked each other thoroughly once and temporarily marked each other twice. He could endure it all thanks to Cen Lang’s extraordinary willpower.
Once, Jiang Li saw Cen Lang secretly injecting a potent suppressant, and his heart tightened.
He seemed to understand what it meant to like someone.
He had wanted to discuss it with his father, but his father’s judgement logic was whether or not one had erectile dysfunction, which was completely irrelevant.
He was a normal omega, not impotent, so it was normal to have desires in front of an omega.
Was this what it meant to like someone? Then it was miserable.
Jiang Li wanted to contemplate further, but his feelings for Cen Lang were caught red-handed when, on one occasion, Cen Lang got his clothes dirty while playing with the little one and ended up taking a bath, coming out with only a towel wrapped around him.
Jiang Li’s sensitive period came early.
There was no way to hide it because he had to call his father to evacuate immediately.
The whole villa suddenly became a lonely Alpha and Omega.
Cen Lang was patient enough with the slow boiling of the frog. He watched Jiang Li’s flushed face and calmly unwrapped and rewrapped the towel.
“Dr. Jiang, could you please get me a suppressant?”
Jiang Li leant against the bed, squatted down, and opened a drawer, searching randomly for something. “Go ahead and use this.”
Cen Lang took it and looked at it under the light, not quite sure what it was, but he felt it shouldn’t be injected.
“What’s this?”
Jiang Li: “Sensitive skin disinfectant.”
Cen Lang: “Not necessary.”
Jiang Li: “If you want to get in bed, you have to disinfect.”
Cen Lang hesitated for a moment. “Are you referring to…?”
Jiang Li lowered his eyes and said, “Mm.”
Cen Lang hurried to the bathroom to disinfect and watched as the disinfectant stained temporarily, unable to wash it off.
What’s going on? This staining more and more while washing was definitely going to be despised by Dr. Jiang!
Cen Lang closed his eyes, took out his phone, entered the villa’s light control system, and turned off the power.
“Darling, the power’s out.”
Jiang Li: “Oh.”
One tube of disinfectant, one power outage plan.
Dr. Jiang had thin skin but a good brain, unlike a certain top Alpha.
