Chapter Fifteen: The Wrath of the White Dragon

A peculiar procession moved along a narrow mountain path in the Fulong Mountain Range.

This path, barely visible from high altitude, was located at the bottom of a long and narrow gorge. Covered with vegetation on the cliffs above, those traveling below, both people and horses, were practically invisible from above.

Ganis rode alongside the fully armored Master Fami, both watching the young mage leading the way twenty meters ahead, sensing something.

“People only know that the Fulong Mountain Range is extremely dangerous, with the possibility of being attacked by dragons at any time. Who would have thought there would be such a marvelous passage? In both the north and south directions, obstructed by cliffs and vegetation, they shouldn’t be visible from the outside. Ganis was certain: with the power of someone like Tang Si’s master, once they approached, they would immediately detect their team.

Revealing their presence boldly, advancing grandly from east to west, this was the etiquette of an embassy.

Less than ten minutes later, they saw a distant black peak, and the sky, which had been relatively clear, suddenly darkened.

Tang Si suddenly tightened the reins.

“What’s wrong?” Ganis rode up to him and asked.

“Master…Master seems to have noticed us, and he… seems very unhappy,” Tang Si teeth chattered.

In the sky, dark clouds churned and rolled, clearly stirred by some unknown force.

Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled in the clouds, each thunderclap hitting everyone’s hearts like a drum.

Within a radius of three kilometers in the sky, thousands of lightning bolts, large and small, began to converge into a single point on the mountaintop, making lightning the sole ruler of this airspace!

Birds in the mountains flew in panic, instinctively trying to flee from this suddenly terrifying presence. Some birds, in their panic, crashed into the “anti-air trees” at the top of the slope before they could even take off, falling tragically once again.

The half-elf advisor, who had lived for over two hundred years, felt blank in his mind. It took him several seconds to react and realize how terrifying this thunderous power was!

The sudden activation of the mage tower by the legendary-level mage across from them meant either that the other party was very displeased or that something had happened.

If the scene at this moment had been merely Ganis’s imagination, what happened next immediately confirmed his thoughts.

“Roar—” a distant roar echoed from the horizon.

“Dragon! White Dragon!” cried the high-ranking ranger responsible for vigilance in the messenger team, pointing to the sky in the south.

A huge and graceful creature spread its wings, entering everyone’s view.

Its pure white body shimmered in the lightning, with scales that seemed to be covered by a sacred and inviolable white halo.

It raised its head and howled, and the sharp claws on its limbs seemed to be slightly extended. The best ranger (ranger) in the messenger team could even see the dense and solid scales covering the dragon’s body and the structure at the end of its tail, which was longer than a siege catapult, resembling a meteor hammer.

Fortunately, unfortunately, the target of the white dragon was not the messenger group, but the person on the mountain top.

The white dragon raised its head, and with eyes as sharp as diamonds, it stared at the human figure next to the strange tower on the mountain top.

White dragons, also known as ice dragons or glacier dragons, were famous for their sluggishness and stupidity. But they shouldn’t bear this reputation. They simply didn’t care about complex plans or political power, preferring to live as predators and treasure collectors.

They would recklessly attack anything in their territory unless potential victims could quickly provide enough reasons not to kill them, such as gems that could tempt them.

This over 12-meter-long juvenile white dragon is very troublesome. Normally, it would take a team of at least five newcomers to the master level to contend with it.
