But these Tao Huas were unaware and happily went to tidy up the mountain.

At dinner, Tao Hua mentioned the yard to Qin Feng again.

Qin Feng used to live alone, and even if a wolf jumped into his window, he wouldn’t be scared.

But now, with a delicate little girl in the house, he knew he couldn’t neglect the garden wall.

So, he readily agreed to build one.

The back mountain was full of bamboo, abundant enough to be used endlessly, so Qin Feng decided to make a bamboo fence.

The young couple, once they decided on something, went ahead and spent four whole days building the bamboo fence, thus enclosing a yard.

The fence was about the height of a person, so when Tao Hua stood beneath it, she couldn’t see outside. But Qin Feng, being taller, could easily see beyond it.

Tao Hua found it interesting and jumped up to look outside.

But despite her jumping, she couldn’t see clearly.

Qin Feng, standing behind her, saw this and, without hesitation, grabbed Tao Hua by the waist and lifted her up.

Tao Hua felt a sudden openness in front of her, and the pair of strong hands around her waist felt like iron clamps, both hot and powerful, reminding her of when he had lifted her from the river that day.

She didn’t know what was happening to her, but she suddenly thought of the image of him drying himself.

His shoulders were extremely broad, his entire body muscled, and his arms were particularly strong.

One morning, when she woke up, she found herself nestled in his arms, and his scent was particularly pleasant, perhaps because of the days spent around bamboo, leaving a fresh bamboo fragrance.

Her new husband was no longer by her side, but her clothes were neatly placed at the foot of the bed, from top to bottom, inside and out, nothing was missing.

Recalling what happened last night, Taohua blushed again, but soon, she couldn’t help but laugh lightly.
