After Getting Full, I Became Stronger Chapter 16.1

Chapter 16

The polluted Star port was crowded with people.

This temporary gathering place was rarely filled with people. There were talented individuals who came to hunt in the pollution stars, as well as mercenary groups and adventure teams responsible for collecting and transporting pollution star resources to nearby planets.

Half a day ago, the Luminous Temple Knights presented the permit from the Empire, issued by the Pope’s Kingdom, declaring their takeover of this polluted star. They immediately closed the landing channel of the star port and sent back the remaining ships approaching here.

Apart from the stationed knights, all the other Luminous Temple Knights entered the polluted star to organize the evacuation of unrelated individuals who were still lingering inside.

However, no one knew what had happened inside the Number Three Mountain Range. Even after the adventurers were evacuated to the star port, they were still not allowed to leave. Not only were they not allowed to leave, but they also had to undergo a physical examination.

Thus, the talented individuals stranded here could only set up their own tents and campfires and wait.

“Did you hear the commotion coming from the Number Three Mountain Range this morning? It was terrifying.”

People sat on the ground, chatting absentmindedly. “Just now, I heard someone from an adventure team over there say that they saw a deep pit appearing in the Number Three Mountain Range from a distance. It is said to be an SSS-level relic revival. No wonder the Luminous Temple  came.”

“Our mercenary group doesn’t have the strength to go to the Number Three Mountain Range! But we heard it too in the Number Two Mountain Range. That sound, it was booming, it gave me a headache.”

In the midst of the discussion, Xiao Yunmeng anxiously looked towards the entrance.

Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait too long before she saw Hong Nian returning with the last group of students from the entrance.

“How is it? Is everyone here?” Hong Nian asked her.

His combat suit was dirty, obviously, he had rushed back after seeing the Star Net message in the middle of training the students.

Xiao Yunmeng was counting the last group of students. “We’re still missing Gu and Yuan Hanshuang.”

Unfortunately, these two individuals who acted alone hadn’t returned. She couldn’t help but worry.

“Don’t think too much, just wait a little longer. Unlike us, who took the students to train in the Number One Mountain Range, since both of them are at the Second Order, they must have gone to the Number Two Mountain Range. It will take time for them to come back.” Hong Nian reassured her. “Young Master Gu has so many guards from the Gu family by his side. Besides, there are also the Luminous Temple Knights who went in for search and rescue. They will be fine.”

Hong Nian had heard about the Gu family’s situation, so he was more at ease than Xiao Yunmeng.

Unfortunately, this sense of reassurance didn’t last long.

In the evening, one after another, talented individuals who had ventured deep into the Number Three Mountain Range returned. It wasn’t until late at night, after the students in the group had set up their tents and fallen asleep, that they finally saw the team of black-suited bodyguards.

“Sorry, did Miss Yuan not come back with you?”

When they saw the unconscious Gu, Xiao Yunmeng’s heart skipped a beat. “It’s the girl with the golden double ponytails.”

Hearing this name, Peng Shi’s face immediately turned gloomy. “I don’t know, she’s probably dead.”

Surviving from the outskirts of the SSS-level relic, the black-suited bodyguards cursed Yuan Hanshuang in their hearts. They blamed her for leading the young master to such a dangerous place. If something really happened, their team couldn’t bear the consequences, so naturally, they wouldn’t have good expressions.

“How is that possible?”

Ke Junda, who was still awake, suddenly opened his blanket. “Young Master Gu has been following the leader all along! How…”

“How is it possible that he is fine, but the boss is in trouble?”

Behind him, the students of Class Two threw off their blankets and glared at him as they rushed out of the tent.

Not even Xiao Yunmeng, who had been watching them sleep, noticed that none of the students had actually slept.

Peng Shi couldn’t be bothered to waste time on these junior academy kids.

Young Master Gu had already completed the withdrawal procedures in advance. He didn’t want any complications when he woke up. The men in black suits quickly negotiated with the Templar Knights to confirm their identities. After displaying their disguises, they left early and headed directly to the Ancient Kingdom.

It was clear that in the future, Young Master Gu would no longer have any dealings with them.

As she watched the spaceship disappear into the distance, Xiao Yunmeng couldn’t sit still any longer and hurriedly made her way to the Missing Persons Registration Office.

The Templar Knights had set up a registration point at the star port. If anyone had a missing companion, they could come here to register, making it easier to conduct search and rescue operations.

However, the form not only required the name to be filled in but also the individual’s Star Net ID and the Star Net IDs of their family members.

Xiao Yunmeng completed the form with a pen, but there was still a large blank space left on the page.

The person in charge frowned and asked, “Why is so much left blank?”

“She doesn’t have a Star Net, and her family members don’t have independent thinking ability,” Xiao Yunmeng’s voice was dry.

“Just a simple distress signal transmitter? That won’t work. Communication on the contaminated planet has been cut off by the revived ruins. Only military Star Net can connect to the star network.”

The person in charge shook their head, seemingly not very hopeful, but dutifully scanned and uploaded the information on the paper. “Well, I’ll upload it. Whether we can find her or not will depend on luck.”

With such a big incident happening suddenly, there was a long queue at the Missing Persons Registration Office. Hundreds of registrations were being transmitted. Not all those who went missing were necessarily involved in the incident caused by the revived ruins; they could have also fallen prey to the insect race. Based on past experience, less than one-tenth of those who went missing could be found.
