Seeing her compliance, Fu Xuanyi was extremely pleased as her soft hand rested calmly in his palm. Holding her hand, he took another step, interlocking their fingers intimately.
It was a close gesture.
Wei Yuxian tensed momentarily, not saying anything, but the blush on her face deepened.

In reality, Wei Yuxian couldn’t resist his handsome face and intense gaze, and she was the first to yield.
She pulled the blanket up further, covering herself entirely, like an ostrich burying its head in the sand.
Then, a faint, deep, and magnetic laughter reached her ears, a sound so pleasant to hear.
It was Fu Xuanyi laughing.
While he laughed, Wei Yuxian felt even more embarrassed, utterly mortified.
She negotiated with him from under the blanket, saying, “Can I… apply it myself? I know how to do it and where to apply it.”
His response, in a deep voice, was a firm “No.”
Wei Yuxian gripped the blanket tighter and asked again, “How long do I need to apply the pregnancy oil for?”
Was she supposed to apply it until the baby was born? Would she have to have her belly and thighs rubbed by Fu Xuanyi every day?
That sounded terrifying!
The next response from Fu Xuanyi left her utterly bewildered: “For five months after the baby is born.”
Wei Yuxian: “!!!”
So long!
She was only over four months pregnant, so would she have to endure being rubbed for another ten months?
Feeling like crying under the blanket, she asked, “Are you lying to me? We don’t have to apply it for that long, right?”
“Sweetheart, you can look it up online.”
Kindly, he handed her the phone under the blanket, allowing her to check then and there.
