Fu Xuanyi remembered how rough he had been that night. He had been drinking and had not controlled his strength, and since it was their first time, his excitement had made him careless of her feelings. But now, he had learned better.

Tenderly, he kissed her face and said, “It won’t happen this time. Trust me my dear.”

Wei Yuxian didn’t believe him. The pain of that night was still vivid in her memory. She shook her head vigorously, tears streaming down even more.

Fu Xuanyi comforted her for quite a while until she finally stopped crying.

Fu Xuanyi chuckled, his large hand gently rubbing the back of her head. “Last night, I didn’t lie to you, did I?”

The mention of last night made Wei Yuxian’s face flush red with uncontrollable shyness.

She couldn’t help but recall the events of the previous night. At first, it had been uncomfortable, but after a while, something changed, and suddenly she felt… good.

It was a rather miraculous thing.
