Chapter 16: The Love Rival Enters the Scene

Qiao Yanyan had written many song lyrics on her phone. As dawn approached, she took the chance to lie down and rest for a bit.

“Ding ding ding…” The ringtone of her phone woke Qiao Yanyan. She fumbled for her phone and answered the call.

A soft voice came from the other end: “Sister, are you up?”

“Oh, it’s An An. Not yet. What’s up?”

“Sister, why aren’t you up yet? Did you forget we’re going on a trip today? We only have three hours left before our flight!”

“Have breakfast before you go to the airport. Shixu can drive you later. You’ll make it in time after eating.”

“Good friend? And he needs to put his arm around you?”

Chen Jingzhi turned to Su An’an and asked: “Who is this guy? Why is he yelling at you like that?”

Su An’an glanced at Fu Shixu and explained: “He’s… he’s… my sister’s husband’s little brother.”

Chen Jingzhi thought for a moment. “Oh, he’s Yanyan’s husband’s little brother? Then what gives him the right to act like this toward you? To order you around?”

Just then, Qiao Yanyan and Fu Shiyuan returned after checking in, and everyone gathered together.

Qiao Yanyan sensed tension thick in the air between the three of them.

Su An’an quickly grabbed Qiao Yanyan’s arm and said: “Sister, Jingzhi is coming with us too.”
