Anti-Intelligence Alliance
AIA No. 1 MIRAGE Chapter 2 Part 1 – 23160901

Zhu Man woke up.

“God Man! Are you alright?” When he saw that he was awake, Tang Yuan immediately reached out to probe his forehead and breathing. He even wanted to lightly open his eyes for a nerve reflex examination.

Zhu Man pushed the former psychiatrist away and looked at his smartwatch, which showed that He Feng Hui was on his way home.

He immediately got up, got out of bed, and walked to the door.

“God Man, are you leaving?” Tang Yuan stepped over a pile of AI corpses on the floor to catch up with him. “I reported the situation to the Alliance Headquarters. The headquarters was in a mess. They said—”

“No need to tell me.” Zhu Man pushed open the door of the base and accelerated his pace.

He was absolutely loyal to the organization, yet he was also absolutely indifferent. He had always been too lazy to ask about things that had nothing to do with his duties.

“Hey, God Man, wait, wait,” Tang Yuan chased after him and said happily, “The organization has finally decided to promote you to Policymaker. You—”

“Not interested.” Zhu Man interrupted him and climbed the rope ladder.

The Anti-Intelligence Alliance divided its members into three levels: Policymakers, Executors, and Assistants. Policymakers have the right to give orders and play important roles in the Alliance, ranging from the leader of the operation team to the core figure of the Alliance Headquarters.

Zhu Man was extremely capable, but he has always been an Executor. It stands to reason that he should’ve been promoted a long time ago, but he was notorious for his arrogance.

Every time the Alliance decides to promote him, there are Executors who oppose it, saying that they won’t be Zhu Man’s Executors even if they were killed.

In fact, every Executor was paired with three to five Assistants, but Zhu Man only had Tang Yuan, this fool, who was extremely willing to follow him.

“Showing aspirations by leading a simple life, always honorable! God Man, wuwuwu, so f***g handsome!” Tang Yuan looked up at Zhu Man who had climbed the rope ladder and his eyes turned into stars.

Zhu Man couldn’t stand it, so he pushed the manhole cover and left—

The next second, the hand stopped.

“What about the AI chip just now?” He asked Tang Yuan.

“Ah…” Tang Yuan looked embarrassed, “According to the rules, all chips must be handed over to the President—”

Zhu Man interrupted him, “Give it to me.”

“But…” Tang Yuan was tangled in place for a moment, and then he caught a glimpse of Zhu Man’s murderous eyes and shuddered. He ran back to get the chip.

Tang Yuan looked at the chip in his hand, lost in thought, and asked, “God Man, why did this AI say… ‘Must Humans and AIs be opposed?’”

Zhu Man reached out and grabbed the chip in his hand, looked at him coldly, and asked back nonchalantly, “Otherwise?”

In Zhu Man’s eyes, this was a question that simply didn’t hold water.

Needless to say, Humans and AI are opposites—Absolute, unrelenting opposites.

Zhu Man arrived home and opened the holographic projection of his watch.

The locator map showed that He Feng Hui hadn’t left for home after work as usual, but went around a path opposite to home.

—Rogue Road, the famous red-light district of City A.

Zhu Man frowned.

He reminded himself once again that He Feng Hui’s private life had nothing to do with him. All he needed to do was to lurk around him and get that USB flash drive.

Zhu Man walked back to his room and turned on his holographic computer, taking that chip out to study it.

At present, all AI chips in the world are uniformly produced by the AI Alliance Government. Even the AIs that were born during the reign of mankind have been replaced with chips and changed into a unified standard: Blue base, as thin as a cicada wing, half the size of a thumbnail.

But this one in his hand… has a black base, is about two millimeters thick, and is the size of an entire thumbnail.

Could it be that this AI is an unregistered account? What’s the purpose of his undercover entry into the Anti-intelligence Alliance?

Zhu Man remembered his last words: Must AI and Humans be opposed?

The holographic screen lit up, interrupting Zhu Man’s thoughts.

Zhu Man logged in to the Dark Web of the Anti-Intelligence Alliance and tried to download the chip analysis software developed by the Alliance.

However, as fate would have it, the old-fashioned holographic computer given to him by He Feng Hui couldn’t support the overly complex application program—

Looking at the computer that crashed directly into a blue screen, Zhu Man frowned.

He shouldn’t have gotten his hopes up for this computer that could only play Pet Lian Lian Kan.

Looking at the location, He Feng Hui was already heading home. Zhu Man struggled for a moment, but still picked up the chip and the backup power supply and walked towards He Feng Hui’s room.

After connecting the backup power supply and turning on He Feng Hui’s computer, the holographic projection showed: [Please enter the password]

Zhu Man dictated the command to the smartwatch, “Give me He Feng Hui’s manufacture date.”

The watch developed by the Anti-Intelligence Alliance was very advanced and responded in less than a second: “He Feng Hui, codename GOV01, manufactured on January 1, 2315. Entered the former human government President Zhu Lei’s house on February 15, 2315—”

“Stop.”

Zhu Man typed 23150101 in the password box and entered—Incorrect password.

He typed 23150215 again and entered—Incorrect password.

Zhu Man commanded, “He Feng Hui’s previous owner’s family’s birthday.”

Watch: “Zhu Lei, November 10, 2269; Ye Yi, May 8, 2270; Zhu Man, March 1, 2300.”

Although he had already known of this person’s existence, Zhu Man’s heart still stagnated when he heard the words “Zhu Man.”

The name of a human pet can only be given by the AI Master. By naming him after his former little master, He Feng Hui was most likely treating him as his former little master’s stand-in—Even though he didn’t look like that “Zhu Man.”

Moreover, He Feng Hui had always claimed to the outside world that he hadn’t named him, but only called him that in private.

Zhu Man didn’t know what happened between He Feng Hui and his former little master. He only knew that during the rule of the human government, according to the “AI Management Law”, AIs were forbidden to have feelings for humans. Otherwise, they would be subjected to an immediate scrapping procedure.

He also knew that in the Human-Machine war several years ago, He Feng Hui won unanimous praise from the AI community for decisively killing the president’s family. Now he has risen to the top and has become a senior official of the AI Alliance’s Legislative Bureau.

Zhu Man typed 23000301 in the password box and entered—

Incorrect password.

This failure was somewhat beyond Zhu Man’s expectations. He furrowed his brows and entered Zhu Lei’s and Ye Yi’s birthdays again, all of them were incorrect.

Next, he entered countless numbers reported by the smartwatch. Incorrect, incorrect, incorrect.

A big red warning popped out of the interface: [Password entered too many times, please try again in 10 minutes.]

Zhu Man checked He Feng Hui’s location, and estimated that he would be home in 10 minutes—He might only have one last chance left.
