Chapter 19.1: Cut ties with the dog father!
Su Bingsheng’s heart felt like it had been twisted.
It was clearly Su Chengzhi who made the first move, yet Su Qingning was the one being asked to apologize.
Su Qingning, instead of getting angry, smiled:
“Why should I apologize? He was the one who slapped me first. Should I just let him hit me without retaliating?!”
Su Bingsheng didn’t expect Su Qingning to dare to talk back, which made him even angrier:
“What’s wrong with your brother educating you? I, Su Bingsheng, have raised you for over a decade; shouldn’t you show some filial piety to us first?!”
Even in ancient times, where there was a preference for sons over daughters, the people around were disgusted by Su Bingsheng’s shamelessness and began to murmur among themselves.
The Xiao family members quickly protected Su Qingning, so furious that they couldn’t help but curse.
“You old dog, you’re simply shameless! A married daughter is like spilled water. The laws of the Great Qian state require women to be filial to their in-laws, but they don’t require them to be filial to their birth families. Why should our Ningning have to honor you with everything she has?!”
“Even a tiger doesn’t eat its own cubs! You Su family have mistreated our Ningning for over a decade, and that’s not enough? You still want to cause trouble every day? Do you really think our Xiao family has no one?!”
Xiao Huaijin also looked fierce, clenching his fists so tightly that they creaked.
“What? You dare to bully my sister-in-law? Do you think my fists aren’t strong enough?!”
Seeing the disdainful looks from those around him, Su Bingsheng felt even more infuriated.
Knowing he couldn’t win against the brave and skilled Xiao family, he had no choice but to continue picking on the weak.
“Fine, if you won’t apologize, that’s okay. Su Qingning! Bring the bun in your hand to your brother as an apology!”
“If you don’t listen to me, don’t blame me for not recognizing you as my daughter!”
When Su Qingning heard this, she thought, what a good opportunity?!
I’ve long wanted to disown this dog of a father!
She immediately pinched her thigh, squeezing out a few crocodile tears, and looked at Su Bingsheng with a wronged expression.
“Father, how can you cut ties with me? Mother told you to take good care of your daughter before she passed away.”
