When there are casualties, adventurers who are able to move quickly rush in to recover the bodies, but before that stage, the Adventurers’ Guild typically doesn’t intervene in any way with the adventurers exploring.

However, there are those who wish to take action at this stage, and Liesel directly appealed to… no, it wasn’t an appeal… it was a letter.

In any case, they seem to want to adopt such a policy.

That branch manager seems to be a bit lenient with adventurers.

It appears that Liesel and the others share the same feeling, and they smile wryly.

I don’t think the idea itself is bad, but I wonder if it’s really acceptable to offer that much support… I’m not sure.

While the men are seriously discussing the dungeon, the women don’t seem to think it’s their job and aren’t joining in the conversation, instead focused on something else.

Well, the discussion about the dungeon is for the Knights and the Adventurers’ Guild to handle, and though Teresa and Fiora are officially members, supporting me and Alec is their main role… they’ve clearly established boundaries for their duties.

This is the real issue.

It’s been about 20 minutes since they started playing with my hair, but they’ve finally finished.

But the hairstyle…

“Oh? You figured it out so quickly…?”

The women were surprised by my voice, and Seriana had a puzzled expression on her face.

I can’t blame them.

There’s no mirror in this room, and I haven’t turned around.

Someone with a keen sense might be able to tell what they were doing from their hand movements, but my intuition is… well, it’s not great.

They’re probably surprised because they know that.

Right now, they’re holding it together with just some string, but if they used a more ornate hairpin, it would surely stand out.

However, it’s a hairstyle that couldn’t easily be done by oneself, and it must take a lot of time…

“Isn’t it too much trouble? It’s already been 20 minutes, and we’re four people working on it, you know?”

A trend from the capital… I wonder if they got it during the festival?

I did meet some of the noblewomen from the capital, but I never had the impression that they’d spend time on such unnecessary things.

I don’t know about Seriana and Fiora, but Elena and Teresa are both capable as maids, so if it’s taken this long even with them helping, something must be going on.

I voiced this sudden question.

Seriana answered, though her voice had a slight hint of exasperation.

“I heard it spread from the daughters of noble families in the western region at the academy. Perhaps they want to flaunt that they have enough servants to help them with such a troublesome hairstyle. To compete, the young ladies in our country have started wearing hairstyles like yours. Several noblewomen mentioned receiving complaints from maids who had to do it while accompanying their children to the capital’s mansion… and you were with them, weren’t you?”

“Eh? …! …I’m sure they were just focused on the healing, right?”

I tried to recall, my gaze wandering, but… I faintly remember something about talking about the academy or something, but… I can’t really place it.

“Well… it’s fine. They’ll realize it’s pointless sooner or later. It’s probably just while they’re in the capital.”
