“Ooh! So this is the adventurers’ guild!”

I came into the adventurers’ guild and exclaimed in glee. Ever since I got transported to another world, I had been staying at the knight so I hadn’t been able to visit the adventurers’ guild or anything like that. 

In a building that resembled a bar, a bunch of large, grim looking men were playing with each other and there were also older women who appeared to be magicians wearing sexy clothes! Deeper into the building, I could also see the guild’s receptionist. The light in their eyes had already long disappeared due to many rounds of exhausting work shifts. 

As I thought, when you talk about isekai, this is definitely the thing! Yeah!

I was getting excited at the sight of something that was so otherworldly for the first time in a long while. The excitement was comparable to the time when I had first seen a dragon for the first time. 

“Hm.”

Donned on the armor she had just bought, Alaine-san went to the receptionist without any hesitation. 

“Huh….? Why is Knight Captain-sama….?”

“What do we have here?”

“……. Huh? She’s not wearing the Knight Captain’s armor and sword?”

“What about the boy next to her?”

“Ah…. If I’m not wrong, he’s the vice captain. Look, he’s pretty new too.”

“Ooh…”

“But why they’re not wearing the knight’s armor?’

“…. Now that you mention it, that’s true.”

The adventurers started murmuring between themselves as they saw me and Alaine-san. 

Well, of course they are. 

“Oh my~ The boy next to her looks very cute! I want to eat him u-! Hiiii!!”

The female adventurer in front of me that said such perverted things was knocked out with just a single glare from Alaine-san. She fell down with the white part of her eyes showing and she was even foaming from her mouth. 

…… This is the first time I’ve ever actually seen someone foaming from the mouth like this. Just what is this? So scary. 

“Hm.”

Alaine-san approached the receptionist.

“Wha-What’s the matter? Knight Captain-sama.”

“I’m not the Knight Captain anymore. I’ve resigned from my position.”

“Huh?”

The receptionist became completely stiff upon hearing Alaine-san’s declaration. The other adventurers who were eavesdropping on us also became shocked and started getting rowdy.

“Well, there’s that. I want to become an adventurer. Can you help me out with the formalities?”

“FUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!”

She screamed in a voice that was simply not befitting from such an adorable receptionist like her. 

Well, her response is justified though. 

“Alaine-san, please step aside for a bit.”

“Hm.”

I pushed Alaine-san aside and stood in front of the receptionist. Then, I brought my face close to the receptionist’s ear as I whispered. 

“There’s nothing strange about this. Even an ex-knight captain can become an adventurer. You just need to go through with the procedure like usual.”

A voice filled with magic like this had its own merit. With this, I could easily mesmerize another person. Though the effect was only temporary. 

As she started going through with the required paperwork, the receptionist stared at me with a feverish gaze as if I was her God.

Yes, yes. Good girl. Now then…

I was too afraid to look behind me. 

Please help me.
