Chapter 73

With just those words, the world transformed. The red sky turned blue, the floating eyeball flickered and changed into a sun. The short trees rapidly grew into one big, magnificent tree. Completed with lush green leaves and big fruits. The refreshing wind blowing through the grass in the field, making my hair flutter. 

The bugs that were crawling on the ground… They were all going through emergence simultaneously…. They broke through their own bodies and became beautiful blue butterflies. The butterflies all flew to the sky at the same time, turning my vision into blue. 

SPLASH

The butterflies collided with each other, their body turned into a splash of water, pouring back down and soaked into the ground. The number of butterflies started dwindling. 

FLAP FLAP

One butterfly fluttered around me and slowly perched on the tip of my outstretched finger.

Using magic, I brought one of the fruits from that magnificent tree toward me. I grabbed the fruit with my other free hand, the one without the butterfly.

I brought that bright red fruit into my mouth.

Sighing, I threw the fruit that had been reduced to its core only. 

“Good grief… When will this end….”

I complained in a low voice. 

I remember everything. It had taken me a long time too this time. No, I think it took me longer this time compared to the previous time. The last time took me nearly. 251 million years. That 251 million years felt like an overwhelmingly long time and yet…. It took me billions of years this time. 

“…..I made Alaine go through all that trouble again.”

I summoned one magic sword. 

“『Open sesame.』”

The magic sword glowed and transformed into a gate. 

“But still, this sword can do a lot of amazing things. Alaine too.”

I slowly caressed the crack that had been created on the gate.
