“Dad, we are not…”

Su Qin left in a daze, and when he returned to his courtyard, Yang Shanshan was waiting there. After hearing what Su Xi had said, her face turned pale. “Husband, what should we do now?”

What saddened him the most wasn’t their deception but the fact that they knew the truth and still chose to hurt him, especially his mother’s actions, which he found unforgivable.

Yuanbao fell silent. Indeed, the things that Second Master and Second Madam had done to Young Master in the past two years were truly unbearable.

“But it doesn’t matter,” Su Yu continued. “I will have my own family, and I won’t repeat the same mistakes or let Xiao Bao suffer the same pain.”

As Su Yu looked at Yuanbao with a serene smile on his face, Yuanbao knew he was thinking about Young Master and Young Madam.

“Xiao Bao, tell me, why were you crying? Did someone bully you?” Su Yu had spent a lot of time with Xiao Bao, and he had never seen him cry before. Every day, the child was as cheerful as a little sun. Today was the first time he had seen him cry like this.

Xiao Bao clung tightly to Su Yu, saying, “I went to play in the village with Yu Gege, but they said they wouldn’t play with me.”

“They said I’m a bastard, that I don’t have a daddy.” Xiao  Bao knew he had a daddy, but they were saying untrue things about him.

Xiao Bao nodded. “Okay.”

When Xiao Bao and Su Yu arrived in the village, the villagers were stunned. The person holding Xiao Bao looked remarkably like him.

“Where are those kids?” Su Yu asked Xiao Bao.

Xiao Bao pointed to the other side.

As Su Yu carried Xiao Bao over, he saw that the children were actually fighting.

“If you dare say that about Xiao Bao again, I’ll teach you a lesson. Xiao Bao does have a daddy, and his daddy is just busy with something right now. He’ll be back soon. Besides, we were playing here without inviting you. You came over on your own and dared to insult Xiao Bao?” Xie Yu was furious.

He had taken Xiao Bao out to play with his friends, and they were having a good time. Then Xie Zhu came and insulted Xiao Bao. Xiao Bao ran back home on his own, and Xie Yu didn’t know what had happened to him.

“He doesn’t have a daddy; my mom said his mom is shameless, and he’s a bastard.”

Su Yu’s expression turned cold. Insulting him didn’t matter, but insulting Xiao Bao and Xiao He was unacceptable.

Approaching the child, Su Yu suddenly reached out and grabbed his neck, lifting him off the ground. “What did you say? Say it again.”
