Chapter 15: Seduce her

Xie Bo carried Lin Yiwei back to the apartment, and Li Du followed suit. He was the only person allowed to enter Ramon’s apartment besides Lin Yiwei.

Lin Yiwei sat on the edge of the sofa, quietly observing Li Du after calming down a bit.

Initially, she thought he was Xie Bo’s follower, like Yunhui was to Chi Xicheng. However, upon observation, she realized it wasn’t the case. He had the freedom to come and go in Xie Bo’s house, lounge on his sofa, raid his fridge, read his magazines, play his video games… Yunhui was always nervous around Chi Xicheng, afraid to make a wrong move. But Li Du… seemed more like Xie Bo’s friend.

When his stomach growled, he raided Xie Bo’s fridge and grabbed a can of coke, taking big gulps.

Xie Bo, seeing that he only got one for himself, muttered, “Get one for the guest.”

“Guest? Who’s the guest?” Li Du teased him, “I only see someone’s girlfriend here.”

Xie Bo was about to throw a magazine at him when Lin Yiwei hurriedly defended herself, “I’m not his girlfriend.”

Xie Bo rolled up the magazine, slightly annoyed, and glanced at her, “Don’t flatter yourself. Who said anything about you?”

Lin Yiwei pursed her lips.

Li Du handed her a bottle of iced coke, Xie Bo reached out, his long finger popped open the tab, took a sip, then passed it to her. Lin Yiwei, thirsty as ever, didn’t mind and gulped it down, letting out a shallow burp from the bubbles.

Xie Bo chuckled.

Watching the interaction between the two, Li Du felt that their relationship was quite deep. It was strange; Xie Bo’s only female companion recently, openly, was Ye Anning! Where did Lin Yiwei suddenly come from? And snatched from Chi Xicheng, no less.

If it were Ye Anning or even Chi Xiyu, Xie Bo might not have done what he did today – rushing like crazy to save someone, even before fully waking up, without even removing his bandages.

“Come on, tell me, what’s your relationship?” Li Du sat on the high stool, curiously asking Lin Yiwei.

“Not girlfriend, and I didn’t pursue him either,” Lin Yiwei explained calmly.

“I know you didn’t pursue him, those who like Master Bo, none are as… willful as you.”

Her attitude towards Xie Bo seemed… indifferent.

“Could it be that you two are long-lost siblings?” he guessed randomly.

Xie Bo couldn’t be bothered with Li Du’s banter. He grabbed the can of coke and sat at the island counter, picking up his tablet to check racing news.

Lin Yiwei replied in a straightforward manner, “We’re not siblings.”

“In that case, I’m really curious.” Li Du persisted, “Miss Lin, satisfy my curiosity.”

“We’re okay,” she said.

“I don’t believe it,” he replied.

“Why don’t you go ask Xie Bo?” she suggested.

“Look at him, does he seem like he wants anything to do with us?” Lin Yiwei chuckled lightly.

The people around Xie Bo… It was quite easy to get along with him. He didn’t seem as ruthless or frightening as rumors portrayed him to be.

At least, Lin Yiwei wasn’t afraid of him now.Nor was Li Du.

The sound of running water echoed from the bathroom, and Xie Bo glanced at Li Du. “You should leave.”

“Hey, what’s with that? You’re kicking me out after using me? That’s too much! I accompanied you to face danger today. Aren’t you grateful?” Li Du protested.

“I didn’t ask you to come. You insisted,” Xie Bo replied, his thin eyelids closing slightly as he put down his tablet.

“I was worried about your safety!”

“And what do you want me to do about it?”Li Du lounged on the comfortable leather sofa. “Then, can you give me a massage?”

“Sure,” Xie Bo replied coldly, approaching to kick him.

Luckily, Li Du dodged quickly. “Okay, okay, I’m leaving! You’re such a brute, no sense of delicacy.”

Their banter made Lin Yiwei giggle.

As they left, Li Du handed Lin Yiwei a business card. “Since you’re Mr. Bo’s person, if you ever have trouble, come to DS Club. It’s absolutely safe here. Nobody dares to cause trouble in my club, and if you need a place to stay, we have rooms here too.”

Lin Yiwei took the card and murmured a thank you.

Li Du looked at her meaningfully. “As soon as he woke up today, he couldn’t even walk straight, yet he rushed to find you…”

“You talk too much,” Xie Bo interrupted impatiently.

After Li Du left the Ramon Apartment and closed the door, Xie Bo lost his restraint. He grabbed Lin Yiwei’s wrist and pulled her into the bathroom, casually removing the jacket covering her, revealing her fair shoulders.

Lin Yiwei’s top had been torn by Chi Xicheng, and now without the jacket, her skin was exposed.

She could only hug herself anxiously, trying to cover up.

“Xie Bo, get out! I… I want to take a shower,” she stammered.

“Let me see,” he insisted.

“What do you want to see?!” she protested.

Since she was already practically naked and in tatters, Xie Bo didn’t mind tearing it off directly.

With a rip, Lin Yiwei felt a chill on her back as his cold gaze fell on her fair, slender back.

Around her beautiful butterfly bones were marks of lashes, bruises, and red marks… It was a heart-wrenching sight.

For a moment, Xie Bo felt a crushing pain in his heart.

He tightly grasped her damaged clothes.

He really should have strangled Chi Xicheng earlier.

Facing the wall, Lin Yiwei hugged herself, her thin shoulders hunched, full of humiliation, tears welling up in her eyes. “You can mock me, anyway, all of this, I brought it upon myself.”

Xie Bo’s throat felt dry, his voice as brittle as crushed twigs. “Anything else?”

Gritting her teeth, Lin Yiwei replied, “Nothing.”

Chi Xicheng had viciously whipped her, hoping to hear her cry, wanting to see her beg on her knees…

Lin Yiwei hadn’t given him the satisfaction.

Faced with such a pervert like Chi Xicheng, tears would only further ignite his beastly nature.

“To be honest, does he really matter?” Lin Yiwei said with humiliation. “In your eyes, I’m not even worthy of being called a person. Used and discarded, that’s how you see me, a lowly…”

The next moment, Xie Bo grabbed her jaw, pulling her close. “Lin Yiwei, remember, I don’t like that word.”

She was close to him, feeling the chilling gaze in his eyes—

“If I hear you say that about yourself again, I’ll tear your mouth apart.”

With anger, Xie Bo stormed out of the bathroom. Lin Yiwei stood at the doorway, listening for a while. He seemed to have left.

The last threat was a bit scary, yet… somewhat amusing.

She looked at the full bathtub embedded in the ground, steam rising, mist swirling around. She decided to undress and stepped into the hot water, enjoying a relaxing bath.

Closing her eyes, she tried hard to erase the terrifying scene from her memory…

Xie Bo had been lying down for two days, while Lin Yiwei had been hiding for two days. That day, she saw Chi Xicheng’s car at the entrance of the milk tea shop.

She had a bad feeling about it, so she slipped back into the milk tea shop amidst the crowd and escaped through the back door.

For those two days, she didn’t dare to go back to school at all. She knew that this demon was searching for her everywhere. She couldn’t even go to the convenience store. Fortunately, Lin Yiwei had some savings, so she had been staying in a hotel.

Until her counselor called her, asking her to return to school immediately to sign for the scholarship application, Lin Yiwei had no choice but to go back, wearing a hat and a mask, afraid of being recognized.

However, when she left the school, Chi Xicheng’s men still intercepted her, dragging her to the White Yin Club. This happened an hour before Xie Bo woke up. Chi Xicheng didn’t have time to do anything to her, so he just whipped her hard to vent his frustration.

Lin Yiwei walked out wrapped in a towel and saw Xie Bo sitting on the sofa gloomily.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly retreated back into the bathroom.

This man… Wasn’t he supposed to be gone?

She found a set of black flannel pajamas in the bathroom cabinet. They should belong to him. Without thinking too much, she put them on.

As she stepped out of the room again, she saw Xie Bo placing a glass of warm water on the countertop, and at the same time, a white pill was pushed towards her.

“What’s this?” she asked cautiously.

“Emergency contraception pill. Take it,” Xie Bo said expressionlessly. “Eat it.”

Lin Yiwei realized belatedly that he must have gone downstairs to buy this.

Seeing her hesitation, Xie Bo pinched the pill and fed it to her, “If you don’t take it now, you’ll suffer if anything happens.”

With the pill in her mouth, Lin Yiwei asked, “Have you fed this pill to other girls?”

“No,” Xie Bo replied flatly, holding the cup to her lips and making her drink it slowly. “I’m not an animal.”

After taking the pill, Lin Yiwei shrugged nonchalantly, “He didn’t do anything. I hid for two days, and he couldn’t find me. If it weren’t for the counselor’s call that brought me back…”

Xie Bo: “…”

Relieved, but thinking about how easily she had swallowed the pill just now, he stuck his finger into her mouth, searching for the pill. “Did you take it?”

“Yeah, I did.”

“But you’re fine, aren’t you?”

“You bought it anyway. This pill is expensive!” Lin Yiwei replied casually.

Xie Bo was speechless with anger. He pulled her to the bathroom, held her head over the toilet, and reached for her throat—

“Have I ever seen a dumb pig like you?”

“Ah! *vomit*!” Lin Yiwei was nauseated by his poking fingers and actually vomited out the pill.

Xie Bo confirmed it was the white pill before stopping. He rudely pushed away her hair, turned around, and opened the tap to wash his hands.

Lin Yiwei covered her chest, coughing, her head throbbing, tears and snot running down her face.

He grabbed a towel and roughly wiped her face, “Are you a pig? How can you take medicine randomly?”

“I’ve taken it before the college entrance exam, just to delay my period, and there weren’t any side effects.”

“Who told you there were no side effects?”

“My former desk mate,” Lin Yiwei said casually, “She said it’s okay to take one during the college entrance exam to avoid affecting performance.”

Xie Bo felt her lack of common sense in life was astounding.

He was so weak and stupid that it was infuriating, even… laughable.

“No one’s taking care of you?” he asked.

“If someone was taking care of me, would I be standing in front of you?” Lin Yiwei rolled her eyes, washed her face by herself, and walked out of the bathroom.

Xie Bo followed her out, leaning against the door frame, watching her. “Pig, I’ll take care of you from now on.”

Lin Yiwei remained silent for a moment, then turned back. “Xie Bo, if I were… taken advantage of by Chi Xicheng, you wouldn’t protect me anymore, would you?”

This sentence instantly annoyed Xie Bo again.

With a hint of anger in his eyes, he asked, “So, what do you want?”

“I don’t want anything,” she shrugged indifferently, sitting on the sofa. “Just talking.”

Xie Bo was thoroughly infuriated by her indifferent attitude. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her into the bedroom, throwing her roughly onto the bed.

Lin Yiwei kept retreating until she pushed herself against the soft headboard, staring at him in panic.

“Just now, someone couldn’t even stand properly because they were scared,” Xie Bo’s eyes held a mocking tone. “Just got out of danger and already planning to get rid of me. Lin Yiwei, how much have I annoyed you?”

Lin Yiwei gritted her teeth and remained silent.

Indeed, at her most helpless moment, Xie Bo was the lifeline she needed to hold on to. But thinking of Lin Xie, besides rejection, Lin Yiwei had no other choice.

Even though he had just said he would take care of her…There was a momentary flicker of emotion.

“Xie Bo, I’m that kind of person. I won’t hesitate to use you when I need to,” she looked directly into his dark eyes, enduring the bitterness, and said word by word, “It’s your own fault… for being a sucker.”

The anger in Xie Bo’s eyes almost reached its peak. Breathing her breath, which was so close, he almost wanted to bite her to death right then and there.

Lin Yiwei closed her eyes and turned her head aside.

After a few minutes of calm, Xie Bo turned and left the room, slamming the door heavily.

He wouldn’t touch her if she didn’t say yes.

That night, Lin Yiwei slept peacefully.Although Pool Xicheng’s face still haunted her like a nightmare, the bed and the scent of Xie Bo would give her a little peace of mind.

Early the next morning, Xie Bo rudely pushed and shoved her, waking her up.

Half-asleep, she opened her eyes and saw Xie Bo wearing only black boxers, revealing his neatly defined abdominal muscles and attractive V-line.

Lin Yiwei was stunned for a moment, surprisingly having a moment of attraction.

He threatened her, forced her, tempted her… none of it worked.If he seduced her… maybe it would work.

Lin Yiwei’s eyes were glued to his abdominal muscles, unable to retract. “What… what are you doing?”

Xie Bo held his phone with one hand and called Li Du, while with the other hand, he pulled her out of bed like a little kitten.

“Chi Xiyu’s here.”
