Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 112.1

Chapter 112 1/2

Cen Lang hosted a private banquet to thank the Alpha brothers and the military dog. The military dog sat at the main table, enjoying five courses alone.

Sometimes, it could be quite helpless for a dog to attend a banquet.

Top Alphas attended, holding banners with cautious “wishes,” “remote wishes” from those on duty outside, and sensible “congratulations.”

The joy of ruling the world was nothing compared to this.

To cater to the dog’s sense of smell, there was no alcohol at the scene, only beverages, which moved some to tears.

“Can we have a second half where pure Alphas can drink?”

Cen Lang: “Sure.”

An Alpha excitedly said, “Then I’ll toast three drinks first!”

Three drinks each—that might just knock Cen Lang out!

Because of his pheromone storm syndrome, no one had seen Cen Lang drink. His alcohol tolerance only existed in rumours.

Cen Lang: “You guys drink; I won’t.”

“Not drinking counts as gratitude?”

“Alphas with wives and children never drink outside.” Cen Lang smiled warmly. “I have to take care of my child tonight.”

A consensus: when Cen Lang mentions “wife,” it means he’s serious, and further persuasion would be pointless, as it might affect his relationship with Dr. Jiang and incur the wrath of the “dark sharks.”

Since he couldn’t drink, he decided to snack on sunflower seeds with Black Wind. Everyone chipped in, but even the honorific military dog couldn’t finish them all.

Everything was so joyous until Black Wind suddenly jumped off the chair and ran outside, assuming the posture of discovering a target.

The nearest Alpha to the door reacted and chased after him. “Black Wind, where are you going?”

“Dr. Jiang!”

All the Alphas in the room hit pause and looked outside.

And there was the kid!

Black Wind spotted kids everywhere; it was destined to be suppressed by them.

Outside the door.

This was the closest Jiang Li had come to having stage fright recently.

Close, but not quite, as his experience of raising the kid had healed his own childhood fears. He was no longer afraid of being on stage; instead, as a parent, he encouraged the kid to be at the centre of attention.

In reality, he didn’t need to encourage him; the kid was naturally outgoing.

Jiang Li looked across the tables at the focus of the banquet, Cen Lang, and the red banners behind him. He realised the power of genetics.

He started to walk away but forgot to cover Jiang Wangxing’s eyes.

“Dad! There’s a dog!” Jiang Wangxing loved feasts and spotted Dad Cen. “Aren’t we going to eat with Dad and the dog?”

“Kid, are you our inside man?”

Jiang Li began to regret letting the little one choose the restaurant.

Cen Lang lied about being caught up with something, hesitated for a moment, but thankfully had his son. He almost instantly moved to the door. “The dishes just arrived, perfect timing for a meal together.”

“Okay!” Jiang Wangxing, being mighty, wriggled out of Jiang Li’s arms and ran in first, exploring around. “So many uncles!”

“What a beautiful house.”

The Alpha brothers warmly welcomed him, saying, “Kid, you’ve got good taste.”

Oh god, the boss’s kid was cuter awake than asleep!

Jiang Li felt his vision blur. There was no saving his aesthetics.

Jiang Wangxing ran back excitedly, “Dad, is someone getting married?”

Based on his feast experience, everywhere being red meant someone was getting married, and they would give him wedding candy.

Cen Lang looked at Jiang Li.

But judging from the banner content, it would be fitting for them to get married right there.

Jiang Li: “…” He briefly imagined the wedding scene arranged by Cen Lang and decided it was better not to get married.

Wait, he didn’t want to get married in the first place.

Cen Lang: “Kid, this is to celebrate Dad meeting you.”

Cen Lang: “You can go in and sit down.”

“Black Wind, show the way.”

Black Wind came over and rubbed against the little one, leading the way ahead. Skilfully, he brought the little one to Cen Lang’s seat, even stooping down to let the little one climb onto the chair.

The little one took off his shoes and stood on the chair. From Jiang Li’s perspective, all he saw behind were banners, with “Congrats on Having a Son” right above.

“Dad, come in quickly.”

Jiang Li really didn’t want to go in.

Jiang Wanlan walked over, took in the scene inside, and was greatly shocked. And there were even early celebrations?

Cen Lang signalling to the other Alphas, and a group of them engaged Lu Jing in conversation and smoothly ushered him in.

Jiang Li and Jiang Wanlan: “…” So, Lu Jing seamlessly integrated with the top Alphas.

It wasn’t until Lu Jing sat down that he noticed what was written on the banners. A colleague handed him a handful of seeds. “Aren’t you going to snack, Lu?”

Lu Jing: “…” If it wasn’t for his son and Cen Lang being the focus, he might have.

Cen Lang said to Jiang Li, “Let’s have a meal together.”

What else could Jiang Li say? Both his son and his dad were inside; he couldn’t just stand outside.

Cen Lang’s wisest decision today was to abstain from alcohol. If the private room had just opened with the smell of alcohol wafting out, Dr. Xiao Jiang would have run away with the little one overnight.

Everyone settled down, and Cen Lang instructed the waiter to bring several dishes suitable for children.

The little one happily called everyone uncle, busy as a bee.

Cen Lang served Jiang Li a bowl of lotus seed and bird’s nest sweet soup and sent a message on his phone.

【Don’t worry, there won’t be any banners at our wedding.】

Jiang Li picked up his phone to reply.

【TD】

Unsubscribe? Cen Lang’s heart skipped a beat. Thankfully, they hadn’t gotten engaged yet, or he would have thought Jiang Li wanted to break up.

He really wanted to get married.

After finishing the meal, Cen Lang took Jiang Li home, leaving the second half for the Alphas to drink on their own. He’d foot the bill.

Cen Lang held Black Wind’s leash tightly, keeping the little one captivated.

“When Black Wind retires, we’ll adopt him.”

“Thank you, Dad.”

As the Alpha’s prepared to leave after the boss, they urgently discussed, “Did we do alright?”

“Of course, warm, honest, and friendly.”

“Does this count as popping the champagne halfway?”

“Shut up.”

“Dr. Xiao Jiang sat down, and his dad and son sat down too. Don’t you know what that means?”
