Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 27.1

Chapter 27 1/2

Jiang Li pondered for a moment: What if…? If he did this, would it cause trouble for Cen Lang? “What is your view on regrets?”

Cen Lang smiled and said, “I’m the same as you.”

Jiang Li nodded. That’s good.

Cen Lang went to the battleship to get some drinking water and casually turned on the external lights of the battleship. “Water for you.”

They were picnicking on the rocks. The advantage of the desolate star was that, even with the lights on, it wouldn’t attract mosquitoes. Jiang Li’s delicate skin would attract mosquitoes at a glance; the earth was not suitable for picnics.

Unfortunately, the food was too bland. Cen Lang frowned, went back to the battleship, and rummaged in the storage cabinet. He remembered that a long time ago, when he went to the mushroom cultivation star, someone gave him a can of mushroom and meat sauce.

As the interstellar map expanded, some planets were used for planting experiments. The yield was not high, but the taste was excellent. However, the cost of transporting ingredients back to Earth was too high, resulting in high prices.

He found a can at the bottom, checked the expiration date, and there was still a month left. It was edible. Mushroom and meat sauce could be paired with whole wheat bread.

Cen Lang opened the can; the mushrooms and beef particles inside were full. He placed it in front of Jiang Li, “With bread.”

Jiang Li seemed like someone eating cat food that had been opened by someone else. He tried to find a reason: “It’s salty, and you need to drink a lot of water. Not necessary.”

Cen Lang asked, “Just a few hundred milliliters of water?”

Jiang Li replied, “You can wash your hands more.”

Cen Lang determined that he would install a water purification system in the battleship after returning this time. Jiang Li had a light taste and didn’t like pickled products, so Cen Lang had to eat them with nutritional supplements.

The taste… was just right—not too salty.

After eating something, Cen Lang decided not to give Jiang Li any more. He ate the canned food and repaired the battleship overnight.

Jiang Li read a book in the battleship until midnight, and Cen Lang showed no signs of coming back to sleep.

He took a cup of water, went down the metal stairs extending from the battleship, stood on the rocks, looked up at the Alpha on the wing, and said, “Rest.”

While Jiang Li counted the time in the sleeping chamber, Cen Lang was fully focused on escaping the meteor shower, finding a suitable landing planet, and then repairing the battleship. With the night training at the space base, Cen Lang had only slept for a few hours in the past three days.

No rest, no water.

Jiang Li frowned. How could he endure this?

Alpha’s muffled voice came through the helmet: “I’ll rest in a while. You go to sleep first.”

Jiang Li spoke louder: “Interstellar labor regulations prohibit nighttime construction.”

Cen Lang sat at the end of the wing, the folds of the combat suit outlined by his handsome and tall figure. “It won’t disturb you. The space force is not bound by labor laws.”

Jiang Li was a little angry. “Aren’t you an extra?”

This hit Cen Lang’s sore spot. He fell silent for a moment, put down the laser gun, and leaped down from the battleship like a nimble cheetah. He stopped in front of Jiang Li, his tone dangerous. “What’s wrong with being an extra?”

Jiang Li said, “Extras can rest.”

He handed a large cup of water to Cen Lang and said, “Drink it all.”

Cen Lang said, “You drink first.”

Jiang Li said, “I’m not thirsty. Do you plan to keep repairing the battleship until it’s perfect and then drive it in fatigue? I dare not sit in your battleship then.”

Cen Lang was amused by Jiang Li’s first questioning of his shipbuilding skills. He laughed and said, “What’s wrong with being an extra?”

Cen Lang, for the first time, was questioned about the technical aspects of building a battleship. He laughed. “So what if you don’t sit in my battleship?”

Really, he felt threatened.

If he didn’t follow Little Jiang’s doctor’s schedule, what if the other party didn’t leave with him?

Cen Lang tilted his head back and drank a large cup of water. He pinched the water cup. “I’m going to sleep, okay?” Jiang Li nodded slightly. “Okay.”

The two went up one after the other, and Cen Lang planned to lie down directly. Considering Jiang Li’s cleanliness, he chose to sleep in the cockpit.

“I’ve prepared the bed for you,” Jiang Li said.

Cen Lang silently changed direction; with a bed available, he wouldn’t miss the chance to sleep.

Jiang Li originally wanted to remind Cen Lang to wash his hands, but the words were on the tip of his tongue, and he swallowed back. Because he always reminded himself of his cleanliness, Cen Lang was in a hurry to repair the battleship, which saved him water.

Let’s not mention it.

There is no cleanliness anymore.

Jiang Li lay down in his clothes, treating it as a special training session. He was a military academy student and had to follow Cen’s living habits. As long as he didn’t die, it was okay.

Cen Lang looked at his own hands, which were a bit dirty. He glanced at the bed curtain, which Jiang Li had cut a piece off to use as a hand-wiping cloth, and had a luxurious idea. “Little Jiang, can you cut another piece of cloth? I want to wash my hands.”

Jiang Li sat up in one go and said, “Of course you can.” Self-awareness of washing hands is good.

Cen Lang found scissors, pretended to be casual, but deliberately cut a large hole in the bed curtain. The position happened to be at the head of the bed, so he could see Jiang Li’s side while lying down.

Jiang Li didn’t notice Alpha’s cunning and even wanted to help wipe his hands.

Wiping his hands personally and using water resources to the extreme, he felt reassured.

He conscientiously disinfected Cen Lang’s hands with alcohol. Water alone was not enough; disinfection was needed.

He was very serious when doing all this, his long black eyelashes drooping and his eyes focused, as if Cen Lang’s hands were some kind of research focus.

Cen Lang closed his eyes and enjoyed it. After experiencing such good treatment, he wouldn’t appreciate washing his hands himself anymore. After disinfecting, Jiang Li checked the medical kit, and his brow suddenly furrowed.

Cen Lang asked, “What’s wrong?”

Jiang Li said, “Nothing; the disinfectant is running out.”

When he took a shower the day before yesterday, he secretly used disinfectant to clean the bathroom and used it all up. Now he couldn’t wipe his hands anymore; he had to save them in case of injuries.

Cen Lang couldn’t help but reflect. How did he make Jiang Li’s living conditions so harsh?

Jiang Li trusted him so much, almost lying down and falling asleep. Through the hole in the bed curtain, Cen Lang looked at Jiang Li’s quiet sleeping face, without any sleepiness. What could he do?

The strongest Alpha in the galaxy, for the first time, felt a kind of anxiety.

The next day.

When Jiang Li sat up from the bed, the movement alarmed the Alpha on the opposite bed. “You continue to sleep.”

“Call me if you need anything,” Cen Lang instructed with his eyes closed.

“Yeah.” Jiang Li got out of bed lightly, rubbed his eyes, went to the bathroom to rinse his mouth first, then used a towel to dab his face with a little water.

First, eat breakfast. After finishing, take advantage of Cen Lang not waking up and go out for free exercise.

Due to Cen Lang’s strict supervision of Jiang Li’s three meals, the nutritional supplements Jiang Li prepared were useless. Today, he found an opportunity to drink them and then replenish some folic acid.
