Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 4.2

Chapter 4 2/2

When he withdrew his gaze, Jiang Li subtly glanced in the southeast direction.

Someone was watching him.

Possibly sent by the employer.

If he took a gamble, whether successful or not, it would be a deal. He couldn’t let these people trace him afterwards and cause trouble.

“Meanwhile, Jiang Li noticed the bodyguards exchanging glances, signalling him to return.

Jiang Li stood up and messaged Yang Xiaoli to have a car waiting for him tomorrow night, urging him not to be discovered.

The head bodyguard rushed over, somewhat anxious: ‘Detected an overwhelming concentration of pheromones; please go down and check as soon as possible.

He was both urgent and hesitant, his face turning green due to the residual storm factor attack on Jiang Li.

Jiang Li distanced himself and casually asked, ‘Does your person have a medical report? ‘

Despite the employer’s strict orders not to converse with bodyguards, at this point, who cares?

The head bodyguard said, ‘Except for pheromone storm syndrome, everything else is normal! ‘

Jiang Li: ‘Any contagious diseases…’

The head bodyguard emphatically stated, ‘None! ‘

“Jiang Li, seeing his sincerity, reluctantly believed him, mainly because the space force has strict physical requirements, and any issues won’t pass. He trusted this selection standard.

The bodyguard who had just made foolish remarks hesitated to speak, and another bodyguard said the captain is a blockhead!

Boldly, he said, ‘Our master keeps himself clean! ‘

Come on, that’s what the lady wants to hear.

The bodyguard captain: ‘Shut up! ‘

No unauthorised evaluation of superiors.

‘…I’m going in.’ Jiang Li put his phone back in place. The second time entering, he was more accustomed to the completely dark environment.

As he entered, he almost couldn’t move due to the explosive heatwave of pheromones. Jiang Li entered, leaning against the wall, clutching the backpack in his hand. He took a deep breath; since he decided to do it, he might as well be straightforward.

Relying on memory, he walked towards the corner and indeed kicked an Alpha who had reverted to a sculpture, breathing painfully. Jiang Li crouched down, bringing his neck close to the Alpha’s face. ‘Bite, and then wake up a bit for me.’

The air was vacuumed for a moment, and his shoulder was seized, the force strong enough to crush bones.

‘Ugh—'”

Teeth deeply embedded in the skin of the neck, pheromones surged as AO instinctively took control. Jiang Li, unable to resist, felt no strength to push the other away unless completely claimed.

Jiang Li smelled a faint hint of blood, unsure if it was his own or Cen Lang’s. Despite his pain tolerance, a shattered shen song involuntarily escaped him.

Temporary marking is complete.

Jiang Li pushed Cen Lang’s head away, locking eyes with him. There was no need for light; after the temporary marking, he could sense Alpha’s emotions directly from the aura.

“Are you awake?”

“Do you want to mark me permanently?”

“It helps with your pheromones going out of control.”

One second, two seconds… Jiang Li counted in his mind, feeling a subtle mix of emotions as he was temporarily marked for the first time.

He could sense Alpha struggling to harness the remaining sanity, not just against storm syndrome but also against biological instincts. Jiang Li imagined Cen Lang’s furrowed brow, confronting his questions with basic logic.

“Yeah,” Cen Lang responded after two seconds.

As if aware of Jiang Li’s quirks and dissatisfaction, Cen Lang clarified, avoiding vague affirmations. It was like checking a patient’s name at the pharmacy—clear and precise—before dispensing medication.

“I agree,” Cen Lang’s voice said, hoarse and terrifying, yet every word was clear.

Jiang Li’s voice turned cold. “I have OCD; you’ll listen to me.”

“Yeah.”

This casual “yeah” indicated compliance with Jiang Li’s wishes.

Jiang Li didn’t dwell on it, exploring the room until he found the bathroom. Both of them needed a shower. Fortunately, Cen Lang’s sanity allowed him to handle his own bath, sparing Jiang Li the effort.

“After washing, lie down on the bed.” There was a bed in the room; why this Alpha preferred the corner was unknown.

Jiang Li squatted, rummaging through his backpack. As an OCD sufferer, he always carried disinfectants, disposable items, and purified water.

“Alcohol? Alcohol won’t do,” Jiang Li muttered, discarding a found alcohol bottle and delving into the backpack’s depths.

After a while, he found what he needed—potassium permanganate effervescent tablets. Diluting them in a bottle of purified water created a standard medical solution for skin sterilisation.

While alcohol could disinfect the skin, it was more irritating to delicate areas.

“Oh, I also have iodine.” Jiang Li found iodine cotton while searching for disinfectant cotton.

Carrying a few items to the bedside, Jiang Li instructed, “Don’t move.”

Alpha remained silent—a perfect response.

Jiang Li lowered his gaze. Although an information pheromone major and not clinically trained, he professionally disinfected with long fingers securing the sterilised cotton, gently wiping back and forth.

Due to his unseen nature, Jiang Li was unaware of how close his face was.

Once more.

It wasn’t his OCD.

“Omega’s reproductive organs are very fragile.”

Wait, why did it swell more with each wipe?

Was the dilution not enough? Irritating the delicate skin?

Jiang Li felt a faint panic because he sensed the other’s intense pain through Alpha’s breathing.
