Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 54.2

Chapter 54 2/2

In the interstellar era, despite the vastness of the universe, there are still boundaries to explore, continually expanding and refreshing our understanding.

“Cen Lang just joined the space fleet, crazily occupying planets and building signal towers. Many said he was too eager to show off, but he just wanted to build more signal towers, just in case he received a response from a disappeared spaceship.”

However, the universe is truly immense, and a planet is like a grain of sand in the vast sea. Cen Lang later stopped this irrational behavior and switched to sending out signal ships.

“Lu Jing said, ‘When the White Flame battleship landed on the desolate star, did the cryo-chambers pop out?'”

Jiang Li replied, “At that time, he didn’t even know I was pregnant. Still, he insisted I go inside, claiming it was more stable in there.”

Jiang Wanlan added, “This is foolproof. Although the Cen family didn’t find that spaceship, they have so many signal ships. It’s effortless to pick up a cryo-chamber in the vast universe.”

Despite the terrifying meteor shower incident, Jiang Wanlan had to admit that Cen Lang was very reliable, ensuring Jiang Li’s safety one hundred percent.

“The blueprint of the White Flame battleship was left by his father. Cen Lang personally supervised the manufacturing, repaired it himself if damaged, and never allowed others to touch it.”

Jiang Li remembered that there were many spare signal towers inside White Flame, and its scorched wings could have been avoided. He had painted it, set up bed curtains, and even scrapped the cryo-chamber above. Cen Lang treasured the battleship so much that he recorded Jiang Li’s fingerprints.

He knew White Flame was essential to Cen Lang, but he never thought it was due to Cen Lang’s father’s blueprints. When the unexpected happened, Cen Lang was only six years old, had just become an alpha at ten, and started suffering from storm syndrome.

Jiang Li asked Cen Lang what he would do if he read the orphanage report and found himself different from his childhood. Cen Lang said, “Who is the same? I’m not the same either.”

At that time, Jiang Li didn’t think much, taking it as Cen Lang comforting himself. He didn’t realize there were hidden details. Jiang Li felt a thread of heartache converging into an impulse to give Cen Lang a hug. He touched the location of his heart—apparently, that was how Cen Lang felt when he saw the orphanage investigation report. “Thank you for telling me so much, Dad.”

Jiang Wanlan said, “You don’t have to keep saying thank you. Are you leaving tomorrow, or…”

Jiang Li replied, “In a little while.”

Being Cen Lang’s only grandson, Old Cen was undoubtedly impatient.

Jiang Wanlan added, “Alright, your story does have an immediate effect. In another thirty minutes, the secretary will bring gifts.”

Before Jiang Li left, he spoke for Lu Jing: “Dad doesn’t like to talk; he probably won’t change in a short time.”

Jiang Wanlan responded, “I don’t expect him to change. If he changes, he wouldn’t be Lu Jing.”

Jiang Li said, “Oh, alright.”

Jiang Wanlan reopened the computer, revealing the high-definition monitoring on the first floor. Would it be better to call Cen’s team down than to call him? What kind of wood?

Jiang Li stood in front of Cen Lang and said, “Dad agreed. Pack your things.” Cen Lang replied, “I’ll help you pack.” Jiang Li said, “Okay.”

Just a day after recognizing each other, Jiang Wanlan bought many things for Jiang Li, covering all aspects of daily life. Jiang Li watched as Cen Lang packed enough clothes for a seven-day stay overnight.

“Isn’t this too much?” Jiang Li asked.

Cen Lang replied, “No, you have cleanliness habits.”

Jiang Li said, “Um, let me tell you something.”

Cen Lang asked, “What is it?”

Jiang Li said, “My pheromones have no scent.”

Cen Lang said, “I know.”

Jiang Li continued, “But it can cause impotence in everyone except you.”

Cen Lang paused, restraining his jealousy. “How did you verify that?”

Jiang Li explained, “During my sensitive period without inhibition patches at the end, my roommates all… and that time I worked part-time in the cafeteria, an alpha wanted to… with an omega. I activated my pheromones, and he walked away impotent.”

“That’s how it is.”

Jiang Li believed that before getting into a relationship, they should understand each other’s information. He knew about Cen Lang’s pheromone storm and that it smelled like disinfectant. Cen Lang should also know about his own.

Jiang Li asked, “Are you worried?”

Cen Lang replied, “Worried about what? I’m just happy! As you said, except for me, everyone else is impotent. We are each other’s only.”

If the advantage of the storm syndrome was this, then these twenty years were not in vain.

“Did you choose me because of my extraordinary talents?” Cen Lang approached Jiang Li, touched his face, and said, “Then I have no reason to be jealous. Whether you recognize an alpha by their face or whatever, you can only have children with me.”

“Forget about recognizing faces; recognizing a few other things is enough.”

Jiang Li said, “Be serious.”

Cen Lang replied, “I am happy.”

Blushing, Jiang Li asked, “When I meet your parents, how will you introduce me to your grandfather?” Cen Lang immediately understood, “Of course, as my partner. Can I?” Jiang Li nodded.

Cen Lang emphasized, “Not as a platonic partner.” Jiang Li didn’t argue.

“You have no chance to regret.” Cen Lang almost wanted to exercise his boyfriend’s rights to kiss Jiang Li unconscious, but thinking that both fathers were downstairs, being too intense was not appropriate; they had enough experience to figure it out.

Cen Lang suddenly realized that, except for the unborn child, he was the only one still a mental virgin in the family. Nobody would believe it if he said it.

As soon as they finished packing, Cen Lang decided to rectify his past shame immediately. Wouldn’t Jiang Wanlan think that being six months pregnant meant Jiang Li couldn’t do anything?! At least, the marking should be done!

Cen Lang swiftly collected the materials Jiang Li had put on the table. In a flash, he saw the theme of the article clearly.

“Resisting the pheromones produced by an Alpha during pregnancy can cause impotence.” Cen Lang was stunned, looking at Jiang Li in disbelief. “Are you researching?”

Jiang Li nodded calmly. “It’s a new topic given by the teacher, and there’s currently no supporting evidence for the viewpoint.”

So, did he want to try it himself? Jiang Li’s pheromones naturally came with a clear-minded and dispassionate buff. Indeed, the only thing that could make the cleanliness-obsessed Dr. Jiang give up platonic relationships was research.

“Why can’t we study how long topping an A can last at most? Isn’t this valuable research?” Wasn’t it unfair to the research community regarding topping A?

Cen Lang added Jiang Li’s name to the list of the most disliked people, saying sternly, “You’re already six months pregnant. I won’t do anything to you. Give up the idea of personally experimenting with it.”

Jiang Li rubbed his face. “The book says it’s okay.”

Cen Lang had a strong reaction instantly, stubbornly stating, “It’s not okay, baby. Wait until the next time you get pregnant.”

Jiang Li said, “Wasn’t  this just wishful thinking? Generally, where is the next time?

Cen Lang didn’t want to leave any room for doubt in case impotence became a medical milestone. He asserted, “With my abilities, there will definitely be a next time. If we don’t take measures, we’ll just do it a few more times every day. Next time, you can study during mid-pregnancy, and I’ll cooperate with you however you want.”

Jiang Li said, “This  is just wishful thinking.
