Pheromone Collision
Pheromone Collision Chapter 6.1

Chapter 6 1/2

The research direction of Jiang Li requires a lot of pheromone samples. Roommates have all had their pheromones drawn by Jiang Li.

Many people are unwilling to have their pheromones taken, especially those with noble status, fearing the development of targeted pheromone destructive agents. Top Alphas are rare, and they are unwilling to provide their pheromones for official research.

“If I had known, I would have charged an additional fee,” Jiang Li regretted a bit, as he missed an opportunity to casually draw blood from a top Alpha.

As the temperature gradually dropped after winter, students walking from the lab to the dormitory were bundled up. Jiang Li liked winter; gloves, masks, and scarves didn’t look out of place in this season.

Especially now, without these three things, one couldn’t even face others.

Jiang Li was somewhat annoyed. He left no traces on the Alpha. He didn’t scratch his back or bite his shoulder, but the other party was uncivilized. He was startled when he looked in the mirror in the lab restroom.

Forget it; there’s no need to argue with an out-of-control Alpha.

Back in the dorm, Jiang Li could finally lie down. His phone in his coat pocket vibrated. He took it out and checked it. Yang Xiaoli had sent him a message.

【I just logged into the website to cancel my account and found that the employer asked for detailed information about taking care of Alpha in the underground city, whether there was any communication with Alpha. Should I respond to him? If not, I’ll just cancel my account.】

Jiang Li thought for a moment and replied, “Tell him it’s like taking care of any other caregiver. Bathing, feeding supplements, no communication with Alpha. Cancel your account cleanly.”

Yang Xiaoli: “No problem.”

He came to the orphanage when he was eleven. He was unresponsive to the outside world, but Jiang Li, who had a plan, guided him step by step to military school. Jiang Li’s instructions were always correct.

If Jiang Li didn’t want to be adopted, then he didn’t either.

Yang Xiaoli, with a lollipop in his mouth, typed on the keyboard to send encrypted messages and then canceled his account, dismantled the computer, and sold it.

He had a hunch that Jiang Li had done something big this time. The other party had a powerful background but was a bit stingy. Wasn’t a stingy aristocrat even more heartless? Under no circumstances should he let him find Jiang Li.

Interstellar Rehabilitation Center.

The best rehabilitation center in the entire galaxy. Patients here include high-ranking officers with merit and commercial tycoons who can disrupt the economic system.

Because of the excellent pheromone department here, patients with pheromone-related diseases, unlike other illnesses, are either aggressive or fragile and easily sympathetic to each other. Therefore, the rehabilitation center has limited admissions, and the threshold is extremely high.

Cen Wei learned that Lin Lu was admitted and immediately arranged for a transfer to the top-tier independent ward of the Interstellar Rehabilitation Center.

The entire Lin family received special treatment.

Lin’s father proudly said, “Ask the doctor who diagnosed our son. He just came out of the general’s place.”

Lin Lu’s face was swollen, and Lin’s mother had rubbed his skin raw. Compared to the excitement of his parents after the incident, he felt uneasy.

Lin’s mother noticed his unease, held his hand, and said, “The doctor said he can’t accurately predict what a highly matched Omega like you will experience in a pheromone storm. As long as you say you’re uncomfortable and the doctor doesn’t see it, then it’s his problem.”

“But…”

“No ‘buts.’ From a step back, we just hired a caregiver. The one really making a difference is your pheromones. Based on that alone, the Cen family can’t do anything to you. As for that stand-in, Mom will shut him up.”

“Rest well.” Lin’s mother stood up, adjusted her hair, and said, “I saw the head of the Jiang family in this hospital just now. I’ll go visit him.”

Lin Lu was puzzled. “Mom, haven’t you had enough of being snubbed by the Jiang family?”

The Jiang family is a traditional shipbuilding family, and the Lin family also has a shipyard. The difference is that the Jiang family has already taken their ships to other planets’ seas, while the Lin family is still struggling in the river.

In the era of interstellar exploration, those who couldn’t keep up would be eliminated.

The Lin family hoped to be acquired as a subsidiary, but the Jiang family wasn’t interested, and they hadn’t even seen the head of the family.

“This child…” Lin’s mother smiled affectionately. “Times have changed. Now that we have the support of the Cen family, talking about cooperation is much simpler.”

“If he refuses to share technology, in the future, the Cen family’s interstellar transit point will be inaccessible to the Jiang family’s ships.”

Lin Lu realized, in his anxiety, that he was no longer the person he used to be.

People who were once out of reach now had to answer to him.

He needed to change his mindset.

Underground city.

Cen Lang felt like he had slept for a very long time. Before he became fully conscious, he felt as if he had returned to the time before his first sensitive period. The pride of the heavens, youthful vigor, without the torment of the pheromone storm, identified as a top Alpha without information on its effects, with the old man having the highest expectations for him.

His body seemed to have experienced a long battle and was satisfied after ample rest. Cen Lang tried to mobilize the pheromones in his body. It seemed like a powerful and gentle force deeply restrained the pheromone storm, making it run according to comfortable rules and not harm the owner.

Cen Lang couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. A medical miracle?

Did he survive the out-of-control pheromone storm, so it was submitted to him?

He subconsciously thought so, but it didn’t make sense rationally.

Cen Lang closed his eyes, trying to grasp the scattered fragments in his mind. When he opened his eyes again, his gaze scanned sharply.

Someone had been here.

Someone came in when he lost control.

He would never show his out-of-control appearance to others. He had long issued a strict order not to allow anyone in.

The air carried a faint scent of green tea, just like what he smelled in the restaurant.

Cen Lang got out of bed, intending to take a shower before going out. However, he paused, realizing he felt quite refreshed. He decided not to waste this time. After meeting Lin Lu and the sudden onset of the storm, many things weren’t explained to the old man at home. It couldn’t be ruled out that the Lin family might benefit from information discrepancies.

He walked straight to the exit.

He already knew this place like the back of his hand. He knew how many steps to take to get there, and each step was precise. He never knocked into things unless he had become useless.

“Splash.”

A pile of empty nutrient tubes was kicked away, rolling and tumbling.

“…”

Judging by the sound, there were at least twenty of these tubes, enough for at least ten.

 days.

Cen Lang felt a bit uncertain. How long had he lost control?

Turning back, he pressed a switch at the bedside, and the clock’s mechanical voice reported the time: December 4th, 3900, 6:49 PM.

It had been three days and two nights.

Under the forced reduction of his bodily functions, he didn’t need so many nutrient tubes.

Cen Lang sensed his condition and knew he had too little nutrient intake and needed supplementation.

Who drank his nutrient tubes?

Cen Lang didn’t immediately choose to replenish the nutrient tubes that had been touched.

He had a hunch. He needed to return to the surface as soon as possible to investigate some things.

The nearest door to the surface, Cen Lang, stood still, pressed a switch, and a shelf popped out of the wall. On the shelf were sunglasses to prevent eye irritation from outside light.

After pushing the sunglasses rack back, the main door opened automatically.

In an instant, the starlight, lights, and long fluorescence trailing behind aircraft tails broke through—

couldn’t ml find mc through fingerprints found in the feeding tubes or around the bunker or if mc had a hair strand fall or comparing mc’s handwriting with that Lin kid or his voice when asking the bodyguards 😭

i feel disgusted by the Lin family being able to take advantage of the Cen’s because of the coincidences with mc 🤧
