Chapter 97 1/2
Jiang Li thought that even in his disoriented state, Cen Lang had once escorted him to the hidden door. Although Jiang Li had repeatedly forbidden him from opening the door, Cen Lang had seemed eager to dismantle it. Perhaps one day, Cen Lang would be waiting for him outside the door.
During lucid and stormy episodes, Cen Lang’s memories might not be connected.
How could Jiang Li argue with someone experiencing a storm, especially when they were already in bed together? Love would prevail no matter what.
Jiang Li lifted his hand and wrapped his arms around Cen Lang’s neck.
Based on his experience, struggling was futile; Alphas couldn’t be reasoned with. Once he had enough physical affection, then he could call him “big brother” a few times.
During Omega’s sensitive periods, pheromones would flood the air, driving Alphas crazy. Even when Omega wasn’t in a sensitive period, Alphas would still go mad if they couldn’t smell enough pheromones, demanding them everywhere.
Jiang Li was prepared to be bitten until he bled, but he didn’t expect to be met by a lucid Cen Lang. Although his movements were aggressive, he couldn’t bring himself to harm Jiang Li.
From childhood, Jiang Baobao had been extremely distressed even over a minor scratch.
Lucid Cen Lang didn’t restrain himself much more than when he was in a stormy state. The Fire Meteor skateboard’s automatic features turned off, plunging the underground city into complete darkness.
Jiang Li was wedged tightly against the wall by Cen Lang, unable to escape. When he crashed into Cen Lang’s embrace, their chests collided and couldn’t be separated.
Jiang Li felt like an Omega from Ancient Society, following an Alpha carrying a torch into a cave, where mating began as soon as the torch went out.
Omegas willingly followed, while Jiang Li had offered himself willingly.
The thin air severely hindered Jiang Li’s thinking.
Sensing Cen Lang undressing him, Jiang Li complied, even reaching out to undo Cen Lang’s belt.
During a storm, Cen Lang lacked rationality. While undressing Jiang Li, he showed some gentleness, but when removing his own clothes, he was rough.
To avoid repeating the mistake of getting his belt stuck, Cen Lang fastened it tightly, leading Jiang Li to handle the situation as he felt embarrassed to be seen in such a state.
Anyway… Cen Lang wouldn’t remember it. Little Doctor Jiang treated patients as gently as he disinfected his hands.
Until… Cen Lang grabbed his hand.
The sounds of heavy breathing seemed to disappear in an instant as Cen Lang looked at Jiang Li in the darkness.
For a moment, Jiang Li was stunned. “You’re not having an episode?”
Cen Lang apologized insincerely. “I’m sorry.”
Jiang Li was dumbfounded. Cen Lang had deceived him into coming here!
In the darkness, Jiang Li’s lost face suddenly returned, but his cheeks were burning hot.
He had just earnestly had hotpot with Cen Lang during the day, and now he had been caught red-handed at night.
Just moments ago, Jiang Li had accidentally run into Cen Lang while riding his skateboard, and his toes could have widened the tunnel five times.
“You lied to me,” Jiang Li muttered, trying to sum up the entire process with those three words. “You lied to me.”
Little Doctor Jiang’s aloof demeanor shattered.
He was both embarrassed and angry, not because Cen Lang had kissed him, but because he hadn’t immediately realized that Cen Lang wasn’t experiencing a storm and hadn’t administered the appropriate treatment. It was a great shame in his medical history!
He wanted to push Cen Lang away and run away, but Cen Lang held onto his waist with one hand, gliding like a fish. Unable to control himself, he flipped his hand
and pushed open the hidden door.
Darkness turned into light in an instant.
Cen Lang covered Jiang Li’s eyes and kicked the skateboard inside with his foot.
The hidden door closed again.
Jiang Li felt like a small animal caught in the spotlight.
The light in the bathroom came from outside, slightly easing the tension.
As Jiang Li adjusted, Cen Lang removed his hand covering his eyes.
Jiang Li felt like he was being publicly executed, nine parts embarrassed and one part angry. His cheeks were as red as ripe tomatoes.
Cen Lang stared at his lips, took a deep breath, and crouched down to examine the skateboard’s wheels, the marks of wear indicating Jiang Li’s frequent trips.
No wonder every time he came out of the underground city, although he didn’t remember much, he always felt physically comfortable and well-rested.
It turned out to be all thanks to Jiang Li.
He had underestimated Jiang Li’s efforts towards him and had always been bothered by his younger brother not clinging to him like he did when he was a child.
Stimulated by the characters and locations, memories that had been sealed in his mind flooded back, some blacked out memories resurfacing, but with sound, touch, and smell, vividly needing to be etched into his memory.
Jiang Li must have given all his tenderness and patience to the Cen Lang in the underground city, feeling a bit embarrassed now that he was outside.
“Jiang Baobao, how did you find the tunnel?” Cen Lang’s voice was hoarse.
In theory, Jiang Li couldn’t obtain a map, and although Lu Jing might have the authority to retrieve the structure of the air-raid shelter from the military archives, he would never provide it to his son, who had a record of breaking into the underground city.
Jiang Li covered his face with his hand. “I just came here for a walk, suddenly remembered that there’s more than one exit in the air-raid shelter, so I wanted to find it.”
As the saying goes, a cunning rabbit has three burrows. Even if the Cen family guarded the entrance well, they would still leave another way out for Cen Lang inside. In case the front entrance was blocked by fire, Cen Lang would be finished.
“Coming here for a walk,” Cen Lang understood the weight of Jiang Li’s concern for him in this sentence.
How could Jiang Li have nothing to do? He must have come because he was worried about him.
Cen Lang deliberately frowned. “You figured it out by yourself the first time? Walking through such a long, dark tunnel all at once? What if it didn’t lead to your home?”
Blushing, Jiang Li replied, “If it’s not my home, is it your home?”
Anyway, the exit must be very safe, Jiang Li believed in the Cen family’s ability to handle things.
Cen Lang softened his tone. “Did you walk the first time? How long did it take?”
Jiang Li answered, “Over three hours.”
Cen Lang squatted down and rubbed his calves. “Are you tired from skateboarding?”
Jiang Li, at such a young age, was the perfect age to travel the world as a special forces soldier, so of course he wasn’t tired. “I’m fine.”
Cen Lang didn’t stand up, looking up at Jiang Li, who was riding the meteor to rescue him. “I’m really sorry for fishing like that.”
“Can’t help it. They say that’s the fastest way to get a wife.”
Jiang Li retorted, “Who’s your—”
Cen Lang interrupted, “I love you.”
Finally, Jiang Li showed a bit of attitude. “Oh.”
Cen Lang pressed on, “Is that all?”
Jiang Li smirked slightly. “Oh, you already said it when you were irrational.”
Cen Lang couldn’t help but feel jealous. “Don’t listen to that, listen to what I’m saying now.”
Jiang Li challenged, “Then say it again.”
Cen Lang declared, “I love you, I –>>
