Finally, the summoning time came to an end.
Once again, Shen Yi entered the gray mist and returned to the familiar coffee shop as he glanced around the shop, he felt safe and sound then only he let out a sigh of relief.
Tonight was still a pleasant experience for him, and unknowingly he had gotten used to it. Switching on the window seat light.
Taking his cell phone and grabbing notes, he sat by the window to sort out the newly found information.
The first thing was time.
He double-tapped the phone and saw it was 12:20, and recalled he seemed to be closing the shop around half past 11.
“It seems that the information in the book is not wrong.”
In “The Origin of the Extraterrestrial God “, the White Mist across the shore was an extraterrestrial god at 23:00.
“Sure enough, what I thought is right, the Extraterrestrial Gods have different timing, so as to summon them the summoning rituals have to be done in specified timings.”
Picking up the black pen from his shirt pocket, he began to jot down notes.
“The third call, starts at 11:30 and ends at 12:20 minutes, playing the role of ‘the white mist across the shore'”
He tapped his left index finger on the table, making a rhythmic noise.
“Although the summoner and the Extraterrestrial God are different, the passage of time was almost the same.”
“The summoning place seemed to be an ancient castle, but the exact location was unclear. The summoner was a mysterious man named Byron, middle-aged, dressed as a nobleman, and the motivation was to resurrect his daughter.”
He wrote the important information he gathered today.
Then drew a circle on the note and wrote his name on it, then drew two horizontal lines from the boundary of the circle to connect the two smaller circles.
→The first line was Aina, the Order (Lord of Ashes)
→The second line was Byron (White Mist across the shore)
Noting everything down, he closed the notebook and swirled the pen in his hand while muttering, “That’s the basic situation. They haven’t found out who I am yet.”
With a thought to his heart, the mask he was wearing bounced out from the shadow, he leaned over and picked it up from the ground, and put it on the table.
Then he got up and went to the bar counter and made a cup of instant black coffee since he wasn’t that free to make a hand brew coffee.
Apart from the information, he noted just now, this time he secretly got the new information.
He picked up the phone on the table and opened the “Photos”. The most recent photo was a blurred underground hall.
Yes, this was the photo of the location where Byron summoned him.
Knowing yourself and knowing the enemy was the key to winning every battle. But looking at the picture, he regretted not taking the picture twice, he was too tense at the time to do so.
Although this photo was temporarily useless, he believed that the more information he had, the better.
“I wonder, did I get any new abilities this time.”
He extended his right hand and made a forceful shot with his eyes closed.
But he hadn’t felt anything new, so he repeated it a few times but still nothing happened.
He slowly opened his eyes and was confused. There didn’t seem to be any new abilities this time. Or didn’t he develop any?
But he could clearly feel the heat flow in his body, so once again, he stretched out his hand to let the heat flow out of the palm of his hand.
The white flame, which had neither temperature nor lethality, spewed out immediately.
“The original white flame can be used freely, but there is no change.”
He picked the flames in mid-air and decided to practice tomorrow to learn more skills. Taking the notebook, pen, and shadow mask from the table, he returned to the back room and put them all in the bedside drawer.
Then thought of the new sacrifice and pulled it out from his pocket: “A new sacrifice.”
What Byron sacrificed was a monster.
What was once a behemoth, full of hideousness, was now turned into a dark red seed.
“This Byron is really sweet, knowing it is not good for me to carry such a big thing.”
His style as “Extratteriaral God” would not allow him to drag the corpse.
The dark red seed in his hand was tingling with warmth.
He wondered what the use of this seed was for and then thought of planting it in a flower pot.
But after a little thought, he shook his head and dispelled his thought.
No, what if the thing that comes out was a terrifying man-eating monster?
Should I throw it away?
Not knowing what to do with this thing, he remained silent for a long time.
For some reason, this dark red seed had a wonderful charm that attracted him.
It was the desire for the unknown and the determination to step into the deeper world.
“Let’s leave it for a time being and take a look again, maybe there will be a chance to use it in the future.”
After much consideration, he put it in a matchbox and placed it together with the notebook in the table’s drawer.
Having not been exposed to light, Dark red seeds in the matchbox trembled slightly in the complete darkness.
If Byron had known he put the chaos seed in the match box and put it together with the other thing, he would have been so shocked that he would have yelled out at the top of his lungs.
Most of the Extraterriral God dependents were immortal and were difficult to kill completely.
After sorting it out, he turned off the lights and returned to the bed to sleep.
Not long after lying on the bed, Shen Yi felt a bit of wind in the cracks of the window, and whirring sounds rang in his ears.
It was not like this before, how come it suddenly cracked?
“Oh, the house won’t work.”
While muttering he got up and went to change into a thicker quilt and returned to the bed.
But for the first time he didn’t doze off immediately but recalled the image of Aina, the shadows of cultists, and the corpses of the terrible monsters he saw tonight…
And unconsciously dozed off.
Late at night.
The desk drawer opened on its own, the matchbox popped out from inside and fell to the ground, bouncing up and down on its own constantly.
Through the gap of the window the wind kept blowing, and Shen Yi in the bed has fallen into deep sleep and even rolled over in his sleep and was completely unaware of other sounds.
The matchbox on the ground rolled on its own, from the small back room to the wide cafe.
The dark red seed gradually expanded and returned to its original terrifying body, almost reaching the ceiling.
Like a desert lizard with a crimson shell, there were countless air holes in the crevices of its carapace that kept opening and closing, from which black fire emanated.
Its mouth exhaled a heavy, burning breath, and it viciously observed the environment in front of it.
The clan of the Lord of Ashes, the terrifying monster of disaster-level, the Seed of Chaos!
Suddenly, it felt a familiar and cordial smell, and it was quite heavy, fierce, and hot, only the incarnation of the Lord of Ashes could have this degree.
The smell of the great Lord of Ashes!
The Chaos Seed crawled curiously and excitedly towards the house, its huge body extremely dexterous, not touching anything in the cafe.
It poked its head inside the door, and its bloodshot eyes, the size of copper bells, stared at the human on the bed for a long time.
Just as the Chaos Seed wanted to get closer, an aura that made it abhor and hate from instinct suddenly appeared-the white mist on the other side!
The Chaos Seed immediately retreated a lot, guarding a distance from the human male on the bed.
It remained on guard for a long time, but the expected attack never came.
The Chaos Seed scratched his neck with his huge front paw. Unable to understand.
Suddenly, it felt a very familiar, very cordial breath of the male body again.
The great Lord of Ashes!
Once again, the Chaos Seed became excited and crawled into the house, wanting to touch this familiar smell.
Just when its large head stretched into the door of the hut, instinctive fear and disgust struck again-definitely the breath of the white mist across the shore, the greatest enemy of the Lord of Ashes!
With no hesitation, the Chaos Seed backed up quickly, and in a blink of an eye, he retreated to the door of the cafe. Despite having a body twice as large as a cow, this creature had the dexterity and agility of a cat.
Hovering at the door, the Chaos Seed sensed the changing aura inside the house.
Feeling confused, it squatted at the cafe entrance, scratched his head with his front paws in doubt.
Wondering whether the “human” lying in the room was an enemy or a friend, but he was sure about one thing: the man inside was far more terrifying than him!
After some hesitation, it decided to leave the place first.
The city had many more places to visit, and there was also a vile human wizard who had killed it once.
It was worth it to retaliate.
It’s huge body gradually shrank, the sturdy shell turned into soft fur, and the sharp claws turned into soft pads of flesh.
Just like that, it turned into a seemingly harmless cute creature-a black and white British short. It slowly stood up in front of the coffee shop and pressed open the glass door with its body weight.
Then the “British Short” rushed out and in no time blended in endless night of Belland.
