The Awakening of the Paranoid Villain’s Little Daddy
The Awakening Of the Paranoid Villain’s Little Daddy | Chapter 19

At the time of parting, Li Yun specially saw them off. At the porch, he said, “Tingyuan, I have a couple of words to say to Cishu.”

“Okay.”

In the evening breeze, Wen Cishu’s hair fluttered gently at his temples. Bo Tingyuan took off his suit jacket and draped it over his shoulders, “I’ll wait for you in the car.”

“Okay.” Wen Cishu felt the warmth inside the jacket, tugged it lightly, and looked at Li Yun, “Dad?”

Li Yun withdrew his gaze from his son’s back and said earnestly, “Cishu, don’t worry, Dad doesn’t have anything urgent to say. I just want to tell you, Tingyuan has always been a man of few words and doesn’t like to express himself. You know, his mother’s family has a large family business, with strict rules and discipline, no less than the Bo Family. Since he was a child, he’s been under a lot of pressure.”

“Okay.” Wen Cishu thought, it seems that his random questions earlier had worried the elder.

“I know.”

By the car, the assistant had already opened the door, but Bo Tingyuan didn’t get in. Instead, he looked back at the people under the porch.

Li Yun also saw this and sighed, “Tingyuan is stronger than me. I can’t stand being in such a suffocating environment without personal will for a day. After he returned to the country, the old man’s health deteriorated, and he was eager to push all the Bo Family’s burdens onto him. In three or four years, I received several harassing calls from Bo Family’s collateral relatives every week, let alone him.”

Wen Cishu nodded. He knew that without an iron fist, he couldn’t take over the Bo Family’s business. No matter how well the old man arranged things before his death, it couldn’t stop people from wanting a piece of the pie.

Li Yun changed the subject, “But I’m not saying this to complain about Tingyuan. Instead, I want to tell you, for Tingyuan, the world’s matters are generally divided into two things.”

“Yeah?” Wen Cishu was a bit curious. “What two things?”

Li Yun smiled, “Your health and everything else.”

He raised his hand, “Go on, Tingyuan is waiting for you. Come to Dad’s place for dinner during the New Year, and I’ll cook personally.”

Wen Cishu nodded and explained again, “Dad, there’s nothing wrong between me and Tingyuan, don’t worry.”

“Okay.” Li Yun was relieved, watching Wen Cishu walk to his son’s side. He nodded at his son who was looking over.

After the car drove away, an old friend saw him still standing under the porch and came over to ask. Li Yun quickly wiped the moisture from the corner of his eye.

Earlier, when leaving, Bo Yiming received a special model airplane from his grandfather, a model that couldn’t be found outside. He was so excited that he almost jumped on the spot and quickly got into the car to play with it. Due to his excitement, he only realized he was sitting alone in the back of a car when he calmed down.

He leaned forward, looking through the front window. Big Daddy and Little Daddy’s car!

Bo Yiming asked the driver, “Uncle Liu, was it my Big Daddy who pushed me into the car just now?”

Deliberately leaving the cute little son all alone!

Master Liu looked at him through the rearview mirror, “Little Young Master got into my car by himself.”

“Huh?” Bo Yiming’s voice weakened, “Really?”

Master Liu said, “I saw the Eldest Young Master look back at you when he got in the car, maybe he was wondering too.”

Handsome Yiming scratched his head in distress. Who gave up the happy time of sitting between two dads?! Oh, it was himself. Then it’s fine.

Bo Family Mansion.

Bo Yiming jumped out of the car and ran forward, seeing Big Daddy carrying Little Daddy down. The oversized black suit almost enveloped Little Daddy completely, with long black hair gently swaying outside.

“Hmm?” He followed beside Big Daddy, asking softly, “Is Little Daddy asleep?”

At this moment, the suit collar was slightly pulled down, revealing a pair of smiling phoenix eyes, softly saying, “Little dummy, didn’t you say you wanted to eat cake together?”

“Oh!” Bo Yiming laughed. Little Daddy is so cute like this!

The small cakes personally baked by Li Yun were given to each guest. Earlier, when Bo Yiming received it with the gift, he said he would eat it at home.

Uncle Xu and others were waiting at home, seeing the three of them, they knew tonight should be very pleasant.

As they walked towards the stairs, Wen Cishu looked up and blinked, “Shall we take the elevator?”

It seemed they rarely took that antique elevator together with Bo Tingyuan.

Bo Tingyuan stopped, turned around, and carried him into the elevator.

Bo Yiming, who was a step ahead, turned his head to see the elevator slowly carrying the two dads up: “?”

He frowned his handsome little face and rushed to the second-floor elevator entrance in three steps.

In the elevator, Wen Cishu looked at the carved grid fence, his dangling legs gently swaying, resting his side face on his broad shoulder, squinting his eyes, admiring this cold yet charming face.

He asked softly, “Aren’t you curious about what your dad just said to me?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Bo Tingyuan’s dark green eyes signaled him to look outside the elevator.

Wen Cishu slowly turned his face, meeting Little Monkey’s glaring face.

Bo Yiming: ==

Wen Cishu couldn’t help but laugh, leaning on Bo Tingyuan’s shoulder, trembling with laughter, the hem of his clothes swaying lightly.

Bo Tingyuan felt like he was holding a begonia flower that had become a fairy, with petals falling down.

When he walked out, Wen Cishu playfully tapped Little Monkey with his foot, “Why are you looking at us like that?”

Bo Yiming followed beside them, all the way into the room. He said aggrievedly, “We went together just now, didn’t we? Shouldn’t we also ride home together?”

He looked up, “Big Daddy didn’t remind me I got in the wrong car!”

With a bit of gritted teeth, as if he was really upset.

Wen Cishu landed, naturally gathering the suit around him, gently saying, “We thought you wanted to enjoy the gift from Grandpa alone.”

He freed a hand, tugging at his velvet bow tie, “So handsome today, give us a smile?”

Bo Yiming deliberately pushed Little Daddy to turn around. He faced away from Big Daddy, “Mingming baby only smiles for Little Daddy.”

Wen Cishu pinched his cheek and tugged. His own child, no matter how you look at it, is just adorable~

Bo Tingyuan adjusted his frameless glasses, “Are you going to sleep with your Little Daddy again tonight?”

“Of course!”

Bo Yiming looked up, eagerly saying, “Little Daddy, I’ll definitely try to tell you a French story tonight.”

Aunt Zhong was bringing in the cake and desserts they brought back. Bo Yiming quickly gathered around, happily saying, “Grandma Zhong, isn’t my Grandpa amazing? He can even make cakes.”

Aunt Zhong said, “When you were little, your Grandpa even made toys for you, his hands are quite skillful.”

“Really.” Bo Yiming almost forgot, “Where are those toys?”

Aunt Zhong began to explain. As the two were talking, Bo Tingyuan picked up the suit from Wen Cishu’s arms, slowly pulling it away.

Wen Cishu felt the fabric sliding away, brushing against his arm, as if the warmth was being taken away too.

When the suit was almost completely pulled away, he held onto the sleeve, softly asking, “Would you like to have some cake together?”

Bo Tingyuan, holding the suit with his body heat, explained, “My mother called earlier, asking me to return a call as soon as I got home, she’s waiting for me.”

“Then go quickly.” Wen Cishu let go.

Bo Tingyuan’s mother was a decisive iron lady, managing a vast family business, every minute of waiting was a delay in business.

Earlier, Bo Tingyuan casually mentioned sending Little Monkey to study in France, and with just one phone call, his mother could arrange everything within an hour, and the next day Little Monkey would land in Paris and be directly escorted to school.

Of course, today was Li Yun’s birthday, it might be for that…

When Wen Cishu came back to his senses, he saw a candle lit on the cake.

He slid off the sofa, sitting on the cushion next to his little son.

“Mingming baby? Where did the candle come from?”

Aunt Zhong, beside them, said seriously, “Aunt Zhong conjured it up, whatever our Little Young Master wants, it appears.”

Wen Cishu laughed, taking off the beads from his neck, loosening his hair, comfortably leaning back, joking, “Grandma Zhong has a treasure chest in her pocket.”

Bo Yiming laughed with Little Daddy, “Yeah, Grandma Zhong is even better than Doraemon.”

Aunt Zhong scolded, “You two play, I’ll go check on the calming soup. Yiming, don’t let your Little Daddy eat too much cake, cream is hard to digest.”

“Okay~” Bo Yiming urged Little Daddy to make a wish together.

Wen Cishu didn’t insist on only making wishes on birthdays, playing along, clasping his hands, closing his eyes for three seconds, “Okay, your turn, baby.”

Bo Yiming listened to Little Daddy simplifying “Mingming baby” into a cuter nickname, wishing he could turn into a small ball, just like Little Qi, and snuggle in Little Daddy’s arms.

He also made a serious wish.

At the door, Aunt Zhong hadn’t completely left. She peeked through the crack, watching the father and son with their heads together, having a great time, feeling warm inside.

These days, everyone in the mansion said that with Mister often coming downstairs, spending more time with the Little Young Master, the Little Young Master didn’t like going out as much, preferring to stick to Little Daddy.

The Little Young Master used to pretend to be a little adult, but now, in front of Little Daddy, he’s especially clingy, showing his childish true self.

In the study.

Bo Tingyuan finished his call with his mother, rubbed his temples, and put his glasses back on. He walked back to the bedroom, not hearing any noise inside.

When he pushed the door open, he only saw the half-eaten cake on the living room table and the jewelry Wen Cishu had worn on the sofa. No one was there.

“Yiming?”

Bo Tingyuan called out deeply, not hearing a response. The nerve at his temple twitched sharply, his thick brows furrowing, and he quickly walked inside.

There was no sign of Wen Cishu on the bed, nor in the bathroom, the tension in Bo Tingyuan’s heart was about to snap. He was afraid of finding a fainted figure in any corridor.

A light tune came from the dressing room, like a voice humming slowly, melodious and gentle.

Bo Tingyuan walked over step by step, the sound seemed to be carried by the wind, twisting and turning into his ears.

Although he had never heard Wen Cishu hum these tunes, he couldn’t mistake that clear and pleasant voice, and his heart immediately settled.

In the dressing room, one of the double doors was closed, the other half-open.

Bo Tingyuan walked up, about to knock, but happened to see the slender side profile in the full-length mirror.

Wen Cishu had just taken off his trousers, wearing only the dark-patterned Chinese-style shirt he wore out, humming a tune while unbuttoning the pipa sleeves.

He was facing away from the door, the mirror only showing the dark hem falling on the snow-white straight thighs, as if swaying on soft jade, half-concealed…

The air was filled with Wen Cishu’s humming voice, soft and affectionate.

In Bo Tingyuan’s ears, it carried a hint of temptation that Wen Cishu himself wasn’t aware of.

At this moment, there was a noise from the living room.

Bo Tingyuan withdrew his gaze, quickly turning and walking out.

Bo Yiming saw Big Daddy, curiously asking, “Where’s Little Daddy?”

“Changing clothes.” Bo Tingyuan watched him pull open the mat on the carpet and sit back down, asking, “Where did you go just now?”

He sat on the sofa, picking up the back cloud draped on one side.

“Xin ge called me.” Bo Yiming raised his left wristwatch, showing off a little friendship.

Wen Cishu happened to come out in loose home clothes, seeing Bo Tingyuan sitting on the sofa, his fingers playing with the back cloud.

The jade pendant with green patterns was actually quite heavy. But in Bo Tingyuan’s strong fingers, it seemed small.

At this moment, Bo Tingyuan was talking to his son while gently rubbing the patterns on the jade with his thumb, soft and casual.

Wen Cishu glanced at it, then looked away. Why did this action look more and more like when he rubbed his hand?

He also looked at his smiling son, asking, “Yiming, what did Xin ge talk to you about? You’re so happy?”

Bo Yiming waved his little spoon, “Little Daddy, let’s continue eating cake, and I’ll tell you.”

The round cushion Wen Cishu sat on earlier had been moved. He bent down, about to pull it over to his son’s side, when a hand gently pressed on his shoulder, and he sat down next to Bo Tingyuan’s long leg.

Wen Cishu picked up the dessert spoon to scoop some cream.

“Come on, let’s listen together with your Big Daddy.”

Bo Yiming chuckled, “Xin ge asked me questions. He didn’t understand some parts of his homework.”

“You guys are even discussing studies?” Wen Cishu clicked his tongue, genuinely surprised.

This original book’s main character attack is indeed a righteous person.

“Of course, I’m older, I have to teach him.”

Bo Yiming even put on the airs of a little teacher.

He finished his cake, kneeling on the mat, hands on the coffee table, leaning closer, “Little Daddy, after the show ends, can we invite Star brother, Rongrong sister, and Little Qi ge to our house to play?”

“Sure.” Wen Cishu teased, “Just invite the kids, not their parents?”

Bo Yiming frowned, seemingly never having thought of that.

“Pfft…”

Wen Cishu thought, this kid really just wants to “kidnap” the kids to play.

He smiled, twirling the silver metal spoon, resting it on his lips, quickly licking the little cream on the back of the spoon with his tongue.

As he was laughing, he heard Bo Tingyuan’s deep voice from above.

“Yiming, weren’t you going to tell Little Daddy a French story tonight?”

Bo Yiming looked up at Big Daddy, “Hmm?”

Bo Tingyuan reminded, “Go to the study and get a storybook, so you won’t forget how to say it.”

“Right!” Bo Yiming immediately got up, remembering Grandma Zhong’s words, “Little Daddy, after you finish this little bit, you can’t eat anymore, the rest… give it to Big Daddy. Big Daddy, you supervise Little Daddy, I’ll go get the book! Be right back!”

With that, he ran out, his footsteps thumping even through the carpet.

Wen Cishu smiled with bent eyebrows, thinking, with his noise, if they lived in a high-rise apartment, no matter how good the soundproofing, they’d receive a lot of complaints.

Bo Tingyuan looked at the person unknowingly leaning on his leg, with a lazy, soft charm.

Without Little Monkey’s cheerful voice, Wen Cishu slowly turned his head, realizing he seemed to have been quietly watching him all along.

Bo Tingyuan was in a relaxed posture, leaning against the sofa back, with a bit of calm composure. As he turned his head, his fingers brushed aside the hair at his temples, revealing a perfect side profile.

Instantly, the room was exceptionally quiet.

Wen Cishu felt the warmth of his fingertips. The thumb that had been playing with the jade pendant now lightly brushed his side face, ear root, even touching the soft earlobe.

Like flicking a jade pendant, it gently flicked.

Wen Cishu’s breathing unconsciously slowed down, once again seeing an indescribable deep desire in those eyes.

He asked, a bit unnaturally, “Do you want… to eat cake?”

Although he didn’t wait for a definite answer, Wen Cishu turned around with a large motion, using the spoon to scoop up some cream, quickly raising his hand, offering it to his lips.

Bo Tingyuan glanced at the spoon. The sweet posture of Wen Cishu smiling and tasting the cake just now reappeared.

“Hmm?” Wen Cishu raised the spoon again to indicate.

Bo Tingyuan took the small spoon from his hand, but instead of putting it in his own mouth, he leaned over, offering it to Wen Cishu’s lips.

The main light in the living room was on, but there was also a lamp on the far wall, the light source just casting from behind.

Therefore, when Bo Tingyuan leaned forward, Wen Cishu felt the warm and forceful figure slowly pressing down, smelling his breath between breaths, seemingly hiding a more dangerous signal than usual.

Just as Wen Cishu almost forgot the spoon’s existence, the sound of footsteps came.

His brain’s alarm bells rang, quickly snatching the spoon back, turning around, stuffing it into his mouth, mumbling, “Eat it or not!”

Bo Yiming ran in with several fairy tale books.

Bo Tingyuan pushed his glasses, his arm resting on the sofa arm, “Found them so quickly?”

“Yeah.” Bo Yiming didn’t notice anything amiss, excitedly running into the master bedroom, stacking the books on the bedside table.

Bo Tingyuan’s gaze followed his son’s figure, stopping on that row of books.

He furrowed his thick brows, loosening his tie.

As he got up, Bo Tingyuan glanced at the person focused on eating cake, softly reminding, “Eat one less bite, wait for Aunt Zhong to bring the calming soup, then wash up and rest.”

Wen Cishu hummed softly, spoon in mouth.

—We’re just a couple who sleep in separate rooms, please mind your boundaries!

Bo Tingyuan walked up, giving his son a few more instructions.

Wen Cishu listened to his voice, filled with broad patience, secretly turning back to find him holding his back cloud.

He looked at the ring on his left hand, lost in thought.
