The Emperor couldn’t wait to meet Isis himself.

The Duke reminded him once again, “Your Majesty, Isis really dislikes crowded occasions.”

The Emperor froze for a moment before saying, “I see.”

After seeing off The Emperor, the Duke breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the Emperor didn’t ask about Aresia. He remained in the Duke’s mansion, following the agreement with his wife, waiting for her return.

This time, Grysenna returned quite quickly. She had attended a salon gathering that was held in the afternoon. She greeted the organizers, chatted with a few familiar noblewomen, and then left early, claiming that she wasn’t feeling well.

Concerned individuals inquired if she was unwell, but Grysenna didn’t want to say that she was waiting for the Duke. Instead, she vaguely expressed that she indeed felt a little uncomfortable and managed to leave smoothly.
