The Female Supporting Character Gets Teased by the Male Lead Every Day in the Apocalypse Chapter 4

Chapter 4 – First Kiss

When Lin Luo woke up, everything was pitch black. Outside, under the dark night sky, a thick fog enveloped the entire city. She glanced at the time—it was already the evening of the second day.

It seemed that she had also fallen unconscious. Lin Luo quickly turned to check on her friend, only to find that Yueyue had not yet woken up. Seeing Yueyue’s flushed cheeks, she reached out and touched her forehead.

She had a fever. Could it be that Yueyue was awakening an ability? According to the book’s setting, those who suffered from unrelenting high fevers either awakened powers or turned into zombies. The others, who never had fevers, simply became ordinary people.

The original owner was just an ordinary person, so it seemed she could only survive in the apocalypse as one of the powerless.

Lin Luo found some fever medicine and fed a pill to Yueyue. After hesitating for a moment, she decided to go downstairs and check on Luo Junze and Xiao Chen.

She gave Luo Junze some fever medicine as well. But when she reached the door of Xiao Chen’s room, she wavered. Perhaps she should just ignore him. After all, he was the male lead—he would certainly be fine.

She turned to leave, but after only two steps, she couldn’t bring herself to abandon him. Resigned, Lin Luo turned back, gently opened the door, and stepped inside. She still couldn’t ignore someone in need. After all, wasn’t she supposed to be a kind little fairy?

On the bed, Xiao Chen lay flat on his back, his face flushed and his breathing rapid. Even in illness, his handsome features were undiminished.

With difficulty, Lin Luo helped Xiao Chen up, letting him lean against her arm. She fed him medicine with water, and when she saw him swallow, she prepared to pull away and leave.

Suddenly, the world spun. Xiao Chen’s arm tightened around her waist, pulling her beneath him, locking her forcefully in his embrace.

So heavy.

“Xiao Chen, let go of me. Xiao Chen…” Lin Luo pushed frantically at the man on top of her, but he remained unresponsive.

Ten minutes later, Lin Luo was drenched in sweat, still unable to break free from his arms. She glared furiously at the man pressing her down. If she had known, she wouldn’t have bothered with him. Rogue. Hmph…

Her eyes stared blankly at the ceiling as the heat of his body seeped through the thin layer of clothing. His weight crushed down on her, making her feel like breaking apart. Annoyed, she reached out and pinched his arm, only to find it hard and unyielding. She couldn’t even leave a mark. That only made her angrier.

After struggling for so long, Lin Luo grew exhausted. When weariness overtook her, she drifted off to sleep without realizing it.

By dawn, a scream pierced the air, shattering the slumber of those still sleeping.

Outside, cries and shouts for help rose one after another, marking the beginning of the apocalypse.

Xiao Chen slowly opened his eyes, sensing something unusual beside him. His sharp gaze swept across the space next to him, but when he saw the girl lying there, his expression gradually softened.

How did this little white rabbit end up on his bed? He frowned as he tried to recall. Last night, in the haze of fever, he had sensed someone near him. His years of vigilance had prompted him to react, to subdue the intruder, but his body had been too weak, and he had blacked out again.

The young girl in his arms was delicate and soft, her body yielding like cotton, an indescribably pleasant sensation to hold.

She lay there quietly and obediently, her face serene as she slept. Her light breaths brushed against the skin of his chest, sending an involuntary shiver down his body.

The air was thick with the fragrant aroma of the young maiden. Xiao Chen gently brushed his hand over her delicate features—the refined eyebrows, the petite, upright nose—and finally lingered on her crimson, temptingly sinful lips. His gaze deepened gradually, and, almost involuntarily, he could not resist the impulse to press his lips against hers. The sensation was tender, the taste sweet and intoxicating, making it difficult to part from her. Xiao Chen was never one to inflict suffering upon himself; yet, instinctively, he deepened the kiss—domineering, conquering every corner, ensuring that her entire being was imbued with his aura.

Lin Luo, in a dazed awakening, felt her breath quicken, her lips tingling. As she opened her eyes, she saw Xiao Chen kissing her. Ah! Her eyes widened in shock, and her unconscious hands pushed against the man’s chest, trying to resist. Xiao Chen remained unmoved, until he had left her face flushed and blushing, her eyes moist, gasping for air, before he finally released her.

Melted by the kiss, Lin Luo’s body turned soft, her mind blank. When clarity returned, she noticed the low, resonant laughter emanating from Xiao Chen’s chest—a deep, seductive chuckle that seemed to stir her ears and make her almost dizzy. With a face full of grievance, she lightly pounded on his chest. “You… you bullied me, and you’re still laughing?”

Xiao Chen looked at the petite girl beneath him, her face a canvas of accusations, as if she were on the verge of tears, her adorable pout nearly making him lose control again and kiss her once more.

“Be good, I was wrong. Don’t cry, okay?” His voice rose in pitch, and once the normally cold and sharp aura softened into tenderness, it was enough to make anyone fall under his spell.

Lin Luo stared blankly at the handsome, gentle man before her, her heartbeat accelerating. His face was so stunningly handsome, it seemed almost unlawful.

“Captain, are you awake? Something’s not right outside.” Luo Junze’s voice sounded from beyond the door.

The sudden voice startled Lin Luo into snapping out of her trance. Frantically, she freed herself from Xiao Chen’s embrace, desperately seeking a hiding place. If anyone discovered her lying on Xiao Chen’s bed, she wouldn’t be able to explain herself even if she jumped into the Yellow River.

Xiao Chen pulled the flustered girl back onto the bed, wrapping her in a blanket. Leaning down, he kissed her lips lightly, then, before she could react, swiftly got up and opened the door to leave.

Oh my God! What was he doing? The male lead was acting strangely—how could he kiss her, the supporting female character? Wasn’t he supposed to despise her?

This was her first kiss in two lifetimes, and now it was gone.

Lin Luo, annoyed, shook her head fiercely. How could she have been so captivated by Xiao Chen’s charm? The warning about the dangers of desire echoed in her mind—Lin Luo, wake up! That man was not someone to be trifled with.

Taking advantage of the lack of attention, Lin Luo stealthily sneaked back to her room on the third floor, relieved to find Yue Yue still asleep. She quietly exhaled, a wave of relief washing over her.
