Chapter 16: The Jade Pendant Space Appears, Spiritual Dew Spring

“Hello, is anyone there? Is anyone here?” Lin Luoxi looked around the mist-covered open space, her voice polite as she called out.

Although Lin Luoxi had an intelligent and calm demeanor, this unfamiliar environment still made her feel a bit anxious.

As she was lost in thought, she suddenly heard the sound of a stream.

Surprised, she followed the sound of the water. In a small clearing by a stone, she saw a tiny pool of water, only about the size of two palms.

“Huh? I hear the sound of a stream, but it’s just this little puddle?” Lin Luoxi couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

She squatted down beside the small pool, sighing, but out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something strange. The stone next to the water seemed to have some characters carved into it.

Curious, she cleared the dirt from the stone, revealing the words: *Spiritual Dew Spring*.

Below the inscription, there was a note: *The Spiritual Dew Spring has rare healing properties, but its water supply is limited.*

Lin Luoxi read the inscription and immediately gasped.

If the water in this small pool really had such powerful healing properties, could it be even more potent than the medical supplies she had back home?

If the effects were truly as stated, Lin Wentao’s life could be saved!

Filled with excitement, Lin Luoxi couldn’t help but scoop up a handful of the water, preparing to try it herself.

“Lokeng, help me to the outhouse!” In desperation, Lin Luoxi could only ask the three-year-old Lin Lokeng for help.

Seeing that Lin Lokeng couldn’t help, Lin Luoxi had to carefully stand up, her posture awkward as she made her way toward the door.

“Luoxi, Lokeng, what’s going on?” Hearing the noise, Lin Wenxian rushed over, not even bothering to adjust his disheveled clothes.

“Big Brother, help me! Carry me to the outhouse, or I’m going to…!” Lin Luoxi, unable to hold back, begged in desperation.

Lin Wenxian, fearing that Lin Luoxi might have fallen into the cesspool, was worried the stench was caused by something like that.

“Big Brother, I’m fine! Just stay far away!” Lin Luoxi, still struggling with the smell inside, managed to respond with great effort.

“Okay, I’ll stand further back. If you need anything, just call me.” Lin Wenxian reluctantly moved five meters away, but the smell seemed to follow him.

“Oh my, what is that smell?” Lin Wenxian, now retreating further, could barely hold back the nausea rising in his stomach. The foul odor had even begun to make him feel sick.
