The Silly Girl Returns with a Strong Force, Tearing the Best and Bringing the Whole Family Rich Chapter 16

Chapter 16: The Jade Pendant Space Appears, Spiritual Dew Spring

“Hello, is anyone there? Is anyone here?” Lin Luoxi looked around the mist-covered open space, her voice polite as she called out.

Although Lin Luoxi had an intelligent and calm demeanor, this unfamiliar environment still made her feel a bit anxious.

How did she get here, and more importantly, how could she leave?

If her family didn’t see her, they would definitely be worried. She didn’t want to stay in this strange place. Who knew what kind of danger those misty areas might hold?

At this moment, Lin Luoxi’s mind was focused on one thought: *I want to leave. I want to get out of here.*

With a strong determination, she willed herself to leave. The next instant, she found herself back in her small straw bed, next to Lin Lokeng, who was still sound asleep.

Lin Luoxi, with her quick mind, quickly pieced together what had just happened.

She reached up and felt her neck, where she quickly found the cool jade pendant.

Excited, she raised the pendant, and, in the moonlight, she saw a pattern inside it that resembled the scene of the open space she had just seen.

Her memory was clear, as she had often looked at the pendant before. Not only was it crystal-clear and made from a top-grade jade, but there were no images inside it before.

Could it be that her soul being fully intact was the reason it appeared?

No matter the reason, Lin Luoxi decided to try again.

She pressed the jade pendant and silently whispered in her mind, *Enter.*

The scene before her changed again. She found herself back in the misty open space. Feeling both nervous and excited, she once again whispered in her heart, *Exit,* and in the blink of an eye, she was back next to Lin Lokeng.

Now that she understood it was the jade pendant causing these shifts, Lin Luoxi wasn’t afraid anymore. She decided to explore the space further and entered it again.

Standing on the mist-covered open space inside the pendant, Lin Luoxi surveyed her surroundings, hoping to find something useful.

As she was lost in thought, she suddenly heard the sound of a stream.

Surprised, she followed the sound of the water. In a small clearing by a stone, she saw a tiny pool of water, only about the size of two palms.

“Huh? I hear the sound of a stream, but it’s just this little puddle?” Lin Luoxi couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

She squatted down beside the small pool, sighing, but out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something strange. The stone next to the water seemed to have some characters carved into it.

Curious, she cleared the dirt from the stone, revealing the words: *Spiritual Dew Spring*.

Below the inscription, there was a note: *The Spiritual Dew Spring has rare healing properties, but its water supply is limited.*

Lin Luoxi read the inscription and immediately gasped.

If the water in this small pool really had such powerful healing properties, could it be even more potent than the medical supplies she had back home?

If the effects were truly as stated, Lin Wentao’s life could be saved!

Filled with excitement, Lin Luoxi couldn’t help but scoop up a handful of the water, preparing to try it herself.

At first, she had a mindset of going in with a “willing to die for it” attitude. But as the water touched her throat, what had felt like a burning sensation immediately turned into a soothing, refreshing relief. The dryness disappeared, and her whole body felt calm.

As the water went down, the dizziness and disorientation she had experienced after her soul returned to her body faded away. Lin Luoxi felt incredibly light, her body at ease.

At that moment, Lin Luoxi finally felt the complete fusion of her soul with this body. She was truly Lin Luoxi, and Lin Luoxi was her—there was no longer any talk of borrowing a dead body or returning to life.

As a healer, the experience of using the Spiritual Dew Spring was like taking an elixir of immortality. The effects were immediate, and there were no side effects.

“Gurgle…” Just as Lin Luoxi thought this, an intense stomach pain suddenly gripped her, as if a storm was raging inside her.

“What the hell? This isn’t the ‘Spiritual Dew Spring,’ it’s more like the ‘Doom Spring’!” Lin Luoxi clutched her stomach in agony, kicking the stone nearby in frustration, causing the space to vanish.

The moment she returned, she found herself back in her room, face-to-face with Lin Lokeng.

“Ah!” Lin Lokeng’s sudden shock and wide-open eyes startled Lin Luoxi so much that she fell out of bed.

“Ow!” Lin Luoxi, already in pain, was further startled by Lin Lokeng and almost lost control of herself. She couldn’t even get up from the pain in her stomach.

“Lokeng, help me to the outhouse!” In desperation, Lin Luoxi could only ask the three-year-old Lin Lokeng for help.

“Sis, are you okay?” Seeing Lin Luoxi in such pain, Lin Lokeng, filled with concern, tried to help her. But despite her small size, she couldn’t support Lin Luoxi, who was now too weak to stand.

The pressure of Lin Luoxi’s body was too much for Lin Lokeng, causing both of them to fall to the ground. Lin Lokeng ended up underneath Lin Luoxi, who felt the weight of her stomach pressing against Lin Lokeng’s bones, her eyes widening in alarm.

“This is bad, I’m going to…!” Lin Luoxi’s face contorted in desperation as she struggled to hold her breath, doing everything she could to hold it in.

Seeing that Lin Lokeng couldn’t help, Lin Luoxi had to carefully stand up, her posture awkward as she made her way toward the door.

“Luoxi, Lokeng, what’s going on?” Hearing the noise, Lin Wenxian rushed over, not even bothering to adjust his disheveled clothes.

“Big Brother, help me! Carry me to the outhouse, or I’m going to…!” Lin Luoxi, unable to hold back, begged in desperation.

“Alright!” Seeing Lin Luoxi’s agonized expression, Lin Wenxian didn’t waste any time. He immediately picked her up and rushed out toward the outhouse.

“Luoxi, you go in, and I’ll wait outside. If anything happens, just call me.” Before Lin Wenxian could finish his sentence, Lin Luoxi had already rushed into the outhouse in a hurry.

“Ah!” Finally, at the last moment, Lin Luoxi was able to relieve herself. She let out a huge sigh of relief.

At that moment, she thought to herself, *Once I make some money, the first thing I’ll do is build a proper toilet in the house.*

“Ugh, what is that smell?” Standing outside, Lin Wenxian was nearly knocked out by the foul odor.

He quickly covered his nose, his face filled with concern as he called into the outhouse, “Luoxi, are you alright?”

Lin Wenxian, fearing that Lin Luoxi might have fallen into the cesspool, was worried the stench was caused by something like that.

“Big Brother, I’m fine! Just stay far away!” Lin Luoxi, still struggling with the smell inside, managed to respond with great effort.

“Okay, I’ll stand further back. If you need anything, just call me.” Lin Wenxian reluctantly moved five meters away, but the smell seemed to follow him.

“Oh my, what is that smell?” Lin Wenxian, now retreating further, could barely hold back the nausea rising in his stomach. The foul odor had even begun to make him feel sick.
