Chapter 27: The Land Over There Cannot Be Bought!

“That works.”

Lu Zhao thought there was some truth to it. If he were misunderstood by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, it would not be worth the trouble.

So, he decided not to go for now and instead had someone go to his Third Brother and Third Sister-in-law’s house to properly set up the wiring.

His Third Brother’s son was already twelve years old this year. When he saw Lu Zhao send someone to wire their house, he was thrilled.

“Really?” Su Yunqi didn’t quite believe it, staring at him suspiciously with wide eyes.

“Really really. If I’ve ever eaten bugs, then punish me by making me wash your feet every day!” Lu Zhao swore, but Su Yunqi still half-doubted him. After all, his oath didn’t sound sincere at all!

Lu Zhao seriously scolded Lu Xiaonian.

“Why don’t we just buy a piece of land and build a house ourselves?”
