Fu Yushen had already provided his answer regarding cooking. However, Fu Yunzhou had his suspicions about it long ago, so he wasn’t surprised. What intrigued him was how the current Yuanxi had come to be and whether he would disappear again.
Additionally, he found it curious that this young man had a certain charm.
After changing into his loungewear, Yuanxi rushed into the kitchen. Seeing the refrigerator stocked with food made him feel immensely satisfied.
To ensure a balanced diet, Yuanxi chose more vegetables than meat. Since Fu Yunzhou’s health wasn’t great—though he didn’t know the specifics—he felt it was important to consider various nutritional combinations.
This was Fu Yushen’s first time handling documents at the headquarters, and after looking over the items in Fu Yushen’s office, Fu Yunzhou found himself lacking confidence in his brother’s abilities.
After glancing at the busy Yuanxi, Fu Yunzhou quietly headed upstairs to connect with his secretary and assess Fu Yushen’s capabilities.
Fu Yushen had never thought his previous life was particularly great, but after being thrown into the headquarters today, he realized just how wonderful it had been!
Especially since he had to deal with so many complicated matters and faced with stacks of documents that needed urgent attention, he felt a throbbing headache coming on.
However, if he didn’t tackle the work, the two secretaries nearby would smile at him in a way that made him uneasy. Under their watchful gazes, he could only continue to obediently focus on processing the documents.
When Fu Yunzhou made the call, Fu Yushen was still slogging through his overtime work.
The documents from Xingyao Entertainment were on a completely different level compared to those from the headquarters. Most of the paperwork at Xingyao was relatively straightforward, while the materials from headquarters were far more complex. He needed to consider every choice and possibility for each document he processed.
He also had to evaluate whether the contents were beneficial to him, harmless to the company, and if there were any loopholes in the documents—all while being thorough in his approach.
After just one day, Fu Yushen wanted to quit and go back to being a slacker.
When Fu Yunzhou’s call connected, it felt like a lifeline to Fu Yushen.
“Brother! Big brother! I was wrong, I really was! Let’s switch back; I just can’t handle this!” The moment he answered the call, he immediately apologized and expressed his sincere regret.
Although Fu Yushen wasn’t entirely sure where he had gone wrong, he figured it was best to admit his mistakes.
Hearing the frantic voice on the other end, Fu Yunzhou couldn’t help but frown. “Hand the phone to Secretary Zhang.”
Instinctively, Fu Yushen passed his phone to one of the secretaries nearby. Once she took it, Fu Yunzhou began asking about Fu Yushen’s work attitude.
As one of Fu Yunzhou’s secretaries, Secretary Zhang knew exactly what information Fu Yunzhou was seeking. She efficiently reported on Fu Yushen’s situation and then quietly waited for further instructions.
Fu Yunzhou rubbed his forehead, and after hearing the report, all the words he had planned to say were suddenly caught in his throat. He even felt a sense of resignation.
“Forget it. Just keep an eye on him. Send me the completed tasks at the end of the day. I may need you to pay extra attention over the next few days,” he instructed.
“Understood, President Fu.”
Meanwhile, Fu Yushen was left thinking: QAQ What did I do wrong? Why are they treating me like this?
