Chapter 183 Collection From The Air

Luo Qiao was about to get up, but then she noticed a strange smell coming from her body. Upon inspection, she found a thin layer of mud sticking to her skin, likely impurities from her body.

Normally, when she used her abilities to accelerate plant growth, she would feel sticky, which she assumed was her body expelling impurities. This time, she could clearly see a layer of mud on her skin.

She quickly ensured her safety and entered her dimensional space. Swiftly teleporting downstream of a small stream and she enjoyed a bath. She felt her skin had become much smoother and noticeably fairer than before.

Luo Qiao couldn’t help but touch her skin affectionately. She hadn’t expected the abilities here to function differently from her previous life, something unheard of in her past life.

She washed her dirty clothes in the stream, hung them up to dry, and changed into clothes stored in her dimensional space. After leaving the space, she prepared to organize her belongings and continue forward.

She casually took out a military kettle from her backpack and took a few sips of water. Turning her head, she noticed a large snake hanging from a nearby tree. Even though she have experienced the apocalypse, she still felt a bit afraid of these soft-bodied creatures.

She shook her hand, spilling a lot of water from the military kettle. Luo Qiao saw that the snake seemed to be coming towards her, which scared her into quickly closing the kettle lid and putting it back into her backpack. She hurriedly slipped away, feeling too frightened.

But she hadn’t gone far when she heard something else approaching. Luo Qiao swiftly stowed her backpack into her dimensional space and climbed up a larger tree. As she looked around, she realized it was all animals.

There were even wolves and bears among them. Out of instinct, Luo Qiao shivered uncontrollably. Up in the tree, she dared not make a sound, afraid of attracting their attention.

Originally, she had considered entering her dimensional space, but she feared being so high up. What if she couldn’t stand steadily after coming out and falling down? She decided to wait and see.

The animals kept circling the area. Could it be that her abilities could also attract animals now? This mutation in her abilities puzzled her endlessly.

Unable to figure it out, she decided not to dwell on it. However, if it was true, it would be quite troublesome.

‘Girl, you’re overthinking it. Your abilities only benefit plants. Those animals are after the water in your kettle. Haha! You’re making it too serious yourself! Hehe!’

The animals continued to linger around. Luo Qiao thought it would be great if she could capture a few of them into her dimensional space. Unfortunately, they were too far away, and she feared it wouldn’t be possible.

While sitting in the tree with nothing else to do, she focused her energy on trying to collect animals. However, she quickly realized that large animals were out of the question. Those rabbits, wild chickens, and similar smaller creatures were manageable. She happily collected quite a few into her dimensional space.

She managed to gather rabbits, wild chickens, roe deer, small wild boars, small deer, and even a young leopard into her space. The larger animals were beyond her capability to collect.

When she started feeling a bit dizzy, she promptly stopped and entered her dimensional space. She couldn’t afford to stay outside any longer, as a careless slip could lead to serious consequences.

After entering the space, she drank some well water from her kettle to soothe her mind. This was her first time collecting things into the space from a distance, and she realized how mentally draining it was. She resolved not to be so reckless in the future.

After recovering and eating some food for a brief rest, she ventured out of the space again. Looking down, she saw that the animals had already scattered away. Below, there were only a few wild chickens pecking around.

Luo Qiao skillfully climbed down from the tree and casually collected two more wild chickens into her space to see if it would make her dizzy again. Seeing that she was fine, she took out a machete and continued on her way forward.
