Transmigrating into the Villain’s Sickly Childhood Friend Chapter 45 We’re Same

After Chen Jianan went out to pee in the morning, he never came back. Qiao Wen just thought he went back upstairs and closed his eyes and rested for a while. Grandma as usual got early and prepared breakfast and went out after having it.

A while later Qiao Wen slowly got up from the bed and, after freshening up, he brought porridge to sit down on the sofa to eat. Just then, a head poked in through the door.

Qiao Wen looked up and saw Anan, his cheeks were flushed red, there were beads of sweat formed on his forehead while few strands of hair was stuck to his forehead, he seemed to be coming straight from morning exercise. He asked casually, “Brother Nan, did you go up to practice boxing? Why didn’t you call me?”

Chen Jianan immediately averted his eyes as soon as met his gaze, as seemed to have done something bad, his eyes flickered from left to right with a guilty conscience: “I saw you haven’t woken up yet, so I went by myself.”

Qiao Wen didn’t find anything strange, as thought of his busy schedule he nodded in response: “Yeah, I’m really sleepy during this period of time.”

“There is porridge in the pot, you can serve it yourself.”

“Hmmm.”

Despite the response Chen Jianan’s leg still rooted on the ground, Qiao Wen  feeling no movement raised his head and saw him still on the spot, feeling strange he once again opened his mouth to ask, but before that Chen Jianan dashed to the balcony to serve the porridge, shaking his head and tail in a very contorted posture.

Holding the porridge he intend to go back to sit side by side with Qiao Wen as usual, just as he reached the sofa his hand trembled suddenly and his eyes widened, he quickly walked around the coffee table, and sat across from him.

Qiao Wen glanced at him strangely, and accidentally caught a glimpse of his red cheeks. The right side was especially red and slightly swollen, seemed to be slap mark.

“Brother Nan, what happen to your face? Did you get slapped by your dad again? No, that’s not right. Uncle Chen wasn’t at home, so who hit you?” He narrowed his eyes slightly, subconsciously stretched his hand over the coffee table, and held his side face to have a better look.

Was there anyone who dared to hit the pretty boy south nowadays?

He just held him lightly, but Chen Jianan seemed to be electrocuted, hissed, and backed half a foot away: “No…No, I accidentally got it by practicing boxing just now.”

Qiao Wen thought that he was hurting him, and retracted his hand: “How can you beat yourself in the face when you practice boxing?”

“Just… accidentally.” Chen Jianan raised his eyelids to sneak a look at him, but as soon as met his gaze he immediately lowered his eyes.

Chen Jianan was so devastated when he thought of having a spring dream with his brother. In the morning he ran up to the rooftop, looking at the rumbling plane, thinking of the last night dream he felt inhuman and started to punch himself.

Although Qiao Wen could not even dream of guessing his abnormalities, his sneaky look and straight posture like sitting on the needle, made him realized something was wrong with this guy.

Qiao Wen’s brows frowned, as he was straight at him he saw him stealing a glance at him and asked straightly, “Brother Nan, did something happen? Is there something you’re hiding from me?”

“No no.” Came a swift reply, while Chen Jianan immediately shook his head like a rattle.

“Then why are you acting strangely?”

Chen Jianan froze on the spot.

Was his thoughts were so obvious?

He knew Qiao Wen knows him well before but now he seemed to know him too well and even guess what was going on with his slightest movements. Thinking of this, he quickly straightened up, showed a big hearty smile, and pretended to be relaxed: “Is there anything I can hide from you? Don’t think so wildly.” Saying that he started to drink porridge.

Qiao Wen didn’t think much about it, it was just his strange behavior made him little suspicion, now seeing him immersed in slurping porridge, and doing well, he let it go. He silently thought even if something happened, it was not a big deal, and started to have a meal.

As the child grew older, he would have some secrets that he didn’t want to tell others, so he didn’t ask any more questions.

Qiao Wen taking the last sip of congee glanced at the wall clock, it was almost time to leave for the factory. After cleaning the dishes, he started to get ready for the office, changing the clothes, combing the hair, he carried the briefcase and after making sure he was all set, he closed the door ready to go to the office. As soon as he turned around, he met Anan holding the motorcycle key to send him off, he hurriedly said: “Brother Nan, it’s very convenient to take the tram, you don’t need to send me off.”

Since returning from Vietnam, he has resolutely refused to let Lin Zihui pick him up and off. For one thing, it was unreasonable for the boss to pick a secretary. Secondly, it was really inconvenient in this era without mobile phones, to communicate or to inform a change of plan.

Chen Jianan held up the bike key and said, “I have a motorcycle now. Isn’t it faster than the tram? It’s okay. From now on, as long as there is no emergency, I will take you to and from work.”

“Thank you, Brother Nan!” Qiao Wen was moved by his enthusiasm, but he also didn’t know whether laugh or cry. “I’ll be nineteen years old by the end of the year, and I’m not a child, so it’s not reasonable to let you pick me up and drop me off every day. Although it is not far from the factory, it takes more than an hour to go back and forth. I appreciate your kindness, but it’s really unnecessary.”

Young people felt that time is too long. But Chen Jianan didn’t think than an hour is a big deal. He raised his brows and insisted on insisting, but was stopped by Qiao Wen’s hands on his chest: “Okay, brother Nan, please. It’s up to you, go ahead and do whatever you need to do.”

Seeing his resolute attitude, he reluctantly agreed, but he still sent the Awen downstairs, and watched his thin figure disappearing in the corner of the narrow alley, then he reluctantly turned around and climbed upstairs listlessly.
