Chapter 28: Exclusive to Jinjiang 2/2
Professor Shi sat on the side and suddenly said, “You have a good figure too.”
Song Fuzhi’s hand paused, glancing quickly at Professor Shi, lacking confidence. “Really?”
Professor Shi probably realized his rudeness, slightly averted his gaze, and his voice was a bit hoarse. “Hmm.”
Song Fuzhi subconsciously looked down at his upper body.
All the lines were there—narrow where they should be, strong where they should be. Honestly, it was quite good.
Looking up again… A sudden, abrupt redness appeared on the fair skin, speckled like a mist beneath the protruding collarbone.
Blood rushed to his head, and Song Fuzhi immediately remembered the unseemly bite under the tree. His fingers flew, and he quickly put on the shirt.
After putting on the shirt, Song Fuzhi turned around and happened to meet Professor Shi’s gaze, which was staring at the location of his collarbone.
The emotions inside were complicated—some regret, some self-blame, and a bit… indescribable.
“Sorry.” Professor Shi looked at the location of his collarbone and asked, “Does it hurt?”
Song Fuzhi didn’t speak.
“Shizhang lowered his head and said, ‘I didn’t mean to bite you. I was just too impulsive.’
Song Fuzhi still didn’t speak.
Shizhang continued, ‘At that time, I thought you minded… kissing me, so I was a bit hasty.’
‘I didn’t mind; I just didn’t react in time,’ Song Fuzhi said slowly.
‘Sorry,’ Shizhang repeated, ‘next time, I’ll give you more time to react.’
Song Fuzhi pulled a chair and sat down, conveniently occupying the usual spot where students would come to ask questions.
He, like a student, questioned Shizhang, but his tone carried a playful edge.
‘Professor, do you have a strong sense of ownership? ‘
Suddenly, Shizhang’s gaze trembled as if struck.
Unaware of Shizhang’s subtle change in expression, Song Fuzhi listed the evidence: ‘Unhappy when I chat with others, unwilling for me to wear clothes given by others, and biting me.’
Song Fuzhi said each word, and Shizhang gradually fell into an icy abyss.
Shizhang thought he had enough restraint, yet those unspeakable thoughts were easily exposed by the other party.
Inappropriate actions from many years ago, like an indelible shadow, effortlessly caught up with him, spreading roots and spreading again in his already adult self.
It took Shizhang a long time to regain his voice. He slowly clarified his thoughts, searching for usable logic: ‘Ownership is a type of property right, referring to a person’s right to possess and use their property. But you are a person, not my property, so ownership doesn’t apply here.’
Song Fuzhi was stunned, and after a while, he blinked and burst into laughter.
‘Oh. Thanks for the professor’s lesson on property rights.’
Shizhang was indeed skilled; he knew how to flirt, but he was occasionally a bit old-fashioned.
Song Fuzhi’s demeanor and tone were relaxed, without any discomfort.
Shizhang carefully observed him and gradually relaxed.
‘Are you uncomfortable? ‘ Shizhang asked.
‘What? ‘Song Fuzhi replied.
‘Bringing you to the office, making you wear my clothes, and biting you…’
‘It’s okay,’ Song Fuzhi said, ‘this is also a kind of definition for marriage.’
Shizhang’s Adam’s apple slid gently, leaning a bit closer. ‘Thank you…’
Song Fuzhi was puzzled: ‘Thanks for what? ‘
Shizhang hoarsely said, ‘Thank you for kissing me.’
‘Ah,’ Song Fuzhi chuckled in surprise, ‘no need to thank you for that.’
Song Fuzhi thought Professor Shi was solemnly expressing gratitude, but suddenly he noticed a faint mist in his eyes, trembling.
Shizhang’s voice was soft. ‘This is the first time I’ve received a kiss.’
‘Then I’m also the first to give a kiss.’
Song Fuzhi, as if enchanted, took off Shizhang’s glasses, and his fingertips gently brushed Shizhang’s thin eyelids, as if trying to wipe away the tears in his eyes.
He didn’t know what made Shizhang suddenly so fragile—was it just because of the first kiss in his life?
‘But I think this statement is not quite right.’
Leaning against Shizhang’s forehead, their noses lightly touched.
‘We should say we shared the first kiss. Hmm? ‘
At this moment, their lips were very close, and their breaths were gently intertwined.
‘Fuzhi, how much reaction time do you need? ‘Shizhang asked hoarsely.
Song Fuzhi didn’t speak; he just reached out and placed a hand on Shizhang’s shoulder.
The next second, Shizhang kissed him, his lips slowly rubbing against each other, and his moist tongue gently traced the soft lip shape.
Song Fuzhi obediently responded, and Shizhang’s hand gently circled his waist, his tongue gentlemanly only lightly touching his teeth.
They kissed calmly, but for a long time.
Song Fuzhi’s body involuntarily leaned forward, as if wanting to go deeper, but the tightly closed office door suddenly made two soft knocking sounds.
They separated simultaneously, creating some distance, panting and staring at each other, their eyes still in disarray, and the air filled with an ambiguous atmosphere.
unsatisfied, but forced to part ways.
Song Fuzhi asked in a breathy voice, ‘Who? ‘
Shizhang whispered, ‘I don’t know.’
He cleared his throat and asked again, ‘Who is it? ‘
‘Professor, it’s me, Liu Yang.’ Liu Yang’s carefree voice sounded from outside the door. ‘I and Liang Sisi came to submit the report.’
Liang Sisi stood next to Liu Yang, whispering with confusion, ‘Professor, why is he still asking who it is? He usually just lets us in.’
‘Is that so? ‘ Liu Yang, a bit rough, said, ‘Didn’t feel any difference.’
After a while, Professor Shi inside said, ‘Come in.’
Upon opening the door, both of them were stunned.
Sitting on the chair usually reserved for students was a male, handsome in appearance, who turned politely to look at them.
Liu Yang greeted the professor, ‘Hello, hello. I’m Liu Yang, Professor Shi’s Ph.D. student.’
This time, Song Fuzhi extended his left hand and said with a smile, ‘My surname is Song.’
Liu Yang shook hands with him, smiling, ‘Hello, junior brother.’
When Song Fuzhi extended his left hand, Liang Sisi saw the ring on his finger.
The girl widened her eyes, quickly looking at her professor’s hand.
In fact, there was no need to look. Professor Shi wore the ring every day in front of them, waving it around even when pointing out mistakes in their reports, all with his left hand.
a golden ring, and Liang Sisi remembered the style.
Upon closer inspection, both “Junior Brother Song” and Professor Shi were wearing the same black clothes, short-sleeved sports shirts, identical.”
“Damn, it’s so obvious, and Liu, the big rough guy, keeps on saying, ‘junior brother, junior brother.’
‘Did you major in botany for your undergraduate? ‘ Liu Yang asked.
Song Fuzhi shook his head and said, ‘Mathematics.’
‘Oh, you’ve crossed quite a distance in your field of study,’ Liu Yang exclaimed. ‘But Professor Shi is like that. As long as you have a great interest in plants, he’s willing to teach.’
Song Fuzhi suppressed his laughter and nodded seriously. ‘I mainly came for Professor Shi.’
‘Brother, then you chose the right advisor,’ Liu Yang praised, giving a thumbs up.
Song Fuzhi looked at Shizhang and smiled until his eyes crinkled. ‘I know I made the right choice.’
Shizhang sighed, ‘Mr. Song.’
Liang Sisi stood beside her, silently pinching her palm, simultaneously sweating for the big silly Liu and biting her lip to prevent her mouth from curving up.
‘You guys chat; I’m done talking with Professor Shi.’ Song Fuzhi stood up. ‘Professor Shi, I’ll leave first.’
Liu Yang exclaimed, ‘Hey,’ and grabbed his phone, ‘Junior brother, can I add you on WeChat? ‘
Song Fuzhi looked at Shizhang with a smile, about to inquire about his husband’s permission, when Shizhang raised his eyebrows and called out, ‘Liu Yang.’
‘Yeah? ‘ Liu Yang replied.
Song Fuzhi smiled even brighter; this kid was quite amusing.
Shizhang looked at Song Fuzhi somewhat helplessly and asked, ‘Do you enjoy teasing kids? ‘
Song Fuzhi looked sincerely at Liu Yang and said, ‘Sorry about that.’
Liu Yang was a bit bewildered.
‘Liu Yang, this is my husband,’ Shizhang introduced, ‘you should address him as “Teacher”.’
After all, there was no suitable term in modern Chinese for their relationship. Asking students to call Song Fuzhi ‘grandpa’ or ‘grandma’ would sound strange.
Liu Yang’s mouth hung open, disbelieving, and his gaze shifted between the two.
‘Cough, cough, cough! ‘
Liu Yang almost choked, awkwardly laughing at himself, ‘Really? Really? Sorry, sorry.’
Liang Sisi, covering her mouth, laughed for a long time, squinting her eyes. ‘Hello, Teacher Song.’
‘Song, Teacher Song looks too young,’ Liu Yang excused himself, ‘and he was sitting in the student’s seat. I guessed wrong.’
Song Fuzhi also apologized, saying it was just a joke.
‘I really should go.’ Song Fuzhi, with the last part whispered to Shizhang, ‘I’ve been away for too long; other teachers might think I’ve been eaten by your school.’
‘I’ll escort you out.’
The two walked out of the office side by side, leaving the two students to cool down in the office.
Before parting, Shizhang looked down at Song Fuzhi and whispered, ‘Teacher Song, you’re actually quite naughty.’
The emotions this afternoon were a bit intense. After two kisses and teasing the young man, Song Fuzhi was still excited, and his tone involuntarily became bold.
‘Calling me naughty… Don’t you like it? ‘
This was not quite normal.
Such words would never be uttered by Song Fuzhi on ordinary days.
Shizhang looked at him, couldn’t resist, and reached out to rub the back of Song Fuzhi’s head, hoarsely saying, ‘I like it.’
