Chapter 63: Exclusive on Jinjiang 1/2
Lately, Professor Shi seemed to be busy at night at school. Song Fuzhi was fine with that and took the opportunity to go try on new clothes with Luo Luli.
The clothes were finely crafted and fitted well. Song Fuzhi didn’t wear makeup to try them on, but Luo Luli thought he already looked good.
‘Why not take pictures tomorrow night? ‘Song Fuzhi glanced at the time.”
Luo Luli was still admiring the feathers on the wings, casually responding, “Sure.”
Song Fuzhi changed out of the clothes, his voice muffled within the fabric. “Recently, Professor Shi is often busy at night and not at home, which is convenient for me, haha.”
Luo Luli raised her eyes leisurely, expressing neither joy nor anger, and said, “Oh, that’s really good then.”
Luo Luli rolled her eyes inwardly.
Haha, what a joke. Your professor Shi is probably busily doing makeup trials, trying on clothes, and learning recipes. You know nothing.
The clothes made by Feifei’s friend were impeccable, with attention to every detail.
When the photos came out, even Song Fuzhi was amazed.
“Most of the credit goes to Feifei’s friend,” Song Fuzhi said.
“The clothes indeed add a lot of points,” Luo Luli nodded objectively, “but without your temperament and expressiveness, they wouldn’t stand out.”
“I remember during the cosplay competition, Octopus Teacher made the props and wings himself,” Song Fuzhi said. “I’ll ask Shi Zhang later how he did it and why he’s so dedicated.”
Luo Luli clicked her tongue twice and said, “Really, you can ask Octopus Teacher anything anytime. You’re showing off.”
FuFu Teacher’s recent rankings on the leaderboard have risen again. Despite the previous disputes in the comments, many people were genuinely impressed by Song Fuzhi’s cosplays.
Great physique, fitting temperament, meticulous costumes and backgrounds, perfectly capturing the essence of the characters. Regardless of one’s stance, it was hard to deny that they were excellent works.
Some people left, but more stayed and accepted Song Fuzhi as a fan of Octopus Teacher. They eagerly speculated on which of Octopus Teacher’s previous works FuFu Teacher would cosplay next.
The Fallen Angel was the planned fourth main cosplay. After Song Fuzhi posted it, viewers quickly arrived.
The dark Fallen Angel with black hair and red eyes was confined in a gorgeous iron cage, with black wings extending through the gaps but unable to fully spread.
The Fallen Angel wore a black robe torn during the battle, revealing a snowy waistline with faint traces of blood.
In cages around him were imprisoned marble angels, fair-skinned with pure wings, their features showing compassion like lifeless sculptures.
The Fallen Angel struggled in the center, muscles in his arms bulging from exertion and golden long hair covering half of his face, leaving only his crimson eyes and fluttering eyelashes visible.
Would the once arrogant and dark Fallen Angel also be “purified” into a perfect and pure statue?
The accompanying text might be understood by only two people:
“Dust cages, you have my wings.”
Ah, so amazing!!
It’s great that FuFu Teacher wasn’t affected. He’s still moving us so much; sob, sob, sob.
Today, we’re crowdfunding FuFu Teacher’s frontal view… but it’s already great now!
It’s actually a work Octopus Teacher won in a cosplay competition many years ago! Ahh, the old fans are crying; FuFu Teacher must be Octopus Teacher’s old fan!
Although it’s a character Octopus Teacher cosplayed, it feels completely different. Octopus Teacher showcased the darkness and power of the Fallen Angel in the competition, but FuFu seems to be continuing a little story, making the existence of darkness meaningful! It’s really cool; it’s evident that FuFu Teacher isn’t just “riding the popularity wave.” He’s treating and interpreting each character seriously.
Immortal quality!! I want to make my friends and classmates come see it; sob, sob, sob!
Not long after the recent controversy, there were still many discordant voices in the comments.
Hehe, it’s still Octopus Teacher’s work. Really blatantly riding on it, huh?
Still not showing your face; truly speechless. If your appearance doesn’t match, you shouldn’t cosplay such a handsome character.
It’s far from the Octopus Teacher’s level! Octopus Teacher’s portrayal was so powerful, but you’re just pitiful. If you can’t cosplay well, it’s better not to cosplay.
Soon, there were replies within replies in the comments.
Where do you see pity? Can’t you see that fierce trapezius muscle? Falling into danger but fighting back—isn’t that more representative of strength?
Luo Luli frowned at the comment section. “Who’s so bored to keep cursing at you? If they don’t like it, they can just scroll away; they must deliberately want to mess with your mindset. I really think it’s not just random people; someone wants to mess with you mentally, especially hiring people to curse at you.”
Song Fuzhi shrugged. “Anyway, they can’t get to me.”
After all, FuFu Teacher doesn’t cosplay for fame or money. The online opinions don’t really have a substantial impact on him.
Many people praised the exquisite and beautiful clothes in the comments, so Song Fuzhi posted a separate update.
@FuFu: Thank you, Feifei, and his friend for helping make the clothes! They were made very quickly and are so beautiful; I am grateful.
Feifei, known as the comment section speedster, quickly replied to Song Fuzhi: Fu teacher, no need to thank me. Your cosplay is too amazing! My friend thinks you gave this piece of clothing a soul! [Thumbs up]
Interactions among cosplayers were usually well received. Every time different cosplayers collaborated, everyone loved to say “double kitchen delight” or something similar. However, under this update, there were still people making insinuations.
I really love riding on others. I finished riding on Octopus and am now riding on Feifei. Have you ridden on everyone?
Is it because Feifei seems like the most innocent and lively kid in the circle, and Octopus Teacher has retired and won’t interfere, so you’re clinging to these two? Really clever tactics.
Don’t go too far! Feifei himself said he wanted to help Fu prepare the clothes. You guys are making up stuff about him riding on others!
Song Fuzhi hadn’t responded yet, but Feifei chimed in.
Feifei: What are you guys talking about? The clothes were something I wanted to help Fu Teacher with because I thought Fu Teacher’s previous cosplays were awesome, and this one is even more divine. Without Fu Teacher, this clothing wouldn’t have had the same effect. Anyone with eyes can see that! What’s the problem with helping a friend? Those who like to talk nonsense better not call me Feifei anymore. Fly away on your own; I won’t see you off.
Haha, those people talking nonsense—do their faces hurt? Go away, go away; don’t keep bothering Fufu.
Listening to Feifei talk is so satisfying; I love it.
Hugs for Fufu and kisses for Feifei; everyone is cosplaying seriously and happily. I really suspect there are some people with ulterior motives causing trouble.
Feifei had just finished commenting when he sent a private message to Song Fuzhi.
Feifei: Fu Teacher, don’t listen to them talking nonsense. I volunteered for this entirely.
This boy was straightforward and direct; it was easy to offend people, but it was quite rare these days.
Song Fuzhi knew that Feifei was already working, but he still felt a kind of affection for him, like the one a teacher might feel for their students.
FuFu: I know; thanks, Feifei.
Just half a week after the new video was posted, Song Fuzhi’s ranking on the leaderboard rose by two positions, reaching a new high of third place.
Luo Luli raised her eyebrows and said, “Feels good; no matter how some people try to blacken us, our strength is there; we’re strong!”
Song Fuzhi, sitting beside her, was focused on lesson plans, only snapping back to reality after a while. He leaned over to look at the rankings with Luo Luli.
“Do you think I have a good chance of reaching first place?” Song Fuzhi asked.
Luo Luli raised an eyebrow and asked, “Do you want first place?”
She had joked before, thinking that Song Fuzhi didn’t care much about rankings.
Pointing at the rewards for first place, she continued, “Business cooperation, online variety show invitations, cash, opening screen advertising… What caught your eye?”
She scrolled down a bit and said, “Second place also has online variety show invitations and cash; it seems pretty similar.”
Song Fuzhi said, “I just think the opening screen advertising could be useful. I can use it to wish Octopus Teacher a happy birthday.”
Luo Luli widened her eyes, put her hand to her forehead, and sighed, “I swear, you’re like a teenager in love. Even when you win an award, you’re only thinking about your crappy husband!”
Song Fuzhi chuckled. “Cash is also interesting. Check out the others, like business cooperation and variety shows. Can I even do those?”
Luo Luli looked carefully. The variety show related to cosplayers seemed interesting, organized by a live-streaming platform and a powerful media company, obviously a project with high promotion priority.
Luo Luli pondered, “No wonder everyone is competing for the top three; I guess this variety show has high exposure. For professional cosplayers, it’s a great opportunity, and who knows, it might lead to entering the entertainment industry.”
The two chatted casually, with Luo Luli swiping through her phone. Suddenly, her thumb stopped.
She exclaimed, “Uh,” then tapped Song Fuzhi on the shoulder, “Wen Qian just cosplayed—oh my god. And he’s dancing too?”
In the video, Wen Qian had blue eyes and was wearing a heavy European-style dress. He stood up from the walnut table, walked to an intricately carved full-length mirror, and started dancing as the music played.
It was a recent popular dance routine that many cosplayers had already performed.
It had to be said that his face was exceptionally beautiful, and his slender figure made him a popular type of delicate boy.
He was even more popular when he dressed as a girl.
Indeed, he was a big cosplayer with millions of followers, growing much faster than Song Fuzhi.
Many comments were shouting “wife” under his video.
Some sharp-eyed fans quickly noticed the details of the character he cosplayed.
Isn’t this the hottest CP from Octopus Teacher’s final cosplay? He still hasn’t forgotten about it; I’m crying.
Damn, I really want to see Wen Qian and Octopus Teacher together again. Wasn’t it a few years ago?
The lingering warmth destined for me is now a bittersweet reminder.
Luo Luli watched with her eyebrows furrowed tighter and tighter, feeling very uncomfortable.
“This person definitely has a problem.” Luo Luli pointed at Wen Qian’s profile picture. “He picked the character that Octopus cosplayed and was part of the hottest CP, even his cross-dressing version. Male cosplayers dressing as girls already attract attention, and he’s even dancing—can’t even say dancing, it’s just random movements. Completely disregarding the character’s original personality, how could this character possibly dance this sweet dance?”
“It’s like he’s practically saying ‘I want attention’ directly on his face.” Luo Luli snorted. “What an unattractive look. This is what we call an unattractive look.”
The fans were quite excited, with half the comments praising Wen Qian’s beauty and the other half lamenting the loss of the “lingering warmth.”. Luo Luli was almost driven mad, wanting to curse loudly.
