Hello, it’s great to meet you. My name is Park Haeng-in. I’ve always had a lot of complaints about my name. In our country, they teach us the dad jokes as early as elementary school, and my friends would make fun of me by saying ‘Hey, Passer-by 1 is passing by!’. Haha.

*Haeng-in (행인) means passer-by in Korean

It’s not funny at all. My dad used to reassure me that I’d always be the one in charge of my life. But time is a funny thing because as I grew from a child to an adult, I realized that I was more comfortable being Passer-by 1.

I realized that when I’m not interrupted, when I’m not interfered with, and when I’m not noticed, I can do more than I thought I could. I can do more things like read novels, read novels, read novels. I started reading novels, and as someone who had to sit down and finish a novel before I could feel satisfied, I really liked the image of myself without a presence.

So what novels am I reading these days? Don’t ask. I’m going to make my head hurt trying to remember right now.

“Miss Juliette, hurry up! His Lordship and Lady Sarah will be here soon!”

“Young Master Claude is already out in the garden waiting for them, we’re coming too!”

Oops, my coworkers were grabbing me by the arm from both sides and dragging me along as if they were arresting me. I wanted to say ‘Please let go of me!’ but unfortunately, I had no choice but to go along. To get out of this ‘novel’, that was.

“Walk faster, Miss Juliette!”

“Yeees, I knooow.”

At my coworker’s urging, I decided to give my unmotivated body a little extra push. As I was out of breath from running, I started to see the main characters of the novel in the distance.

Claude was in the arms of Sarah, the female protagonist, and Ethan was beside him, stroking his hair lovingly. As Ethan whispered something, Sarah and Claude simultaneously burst into bright laughter.

Ah, how adorable.

You could tell by the amazing cover and the perfect web design, but our real-life protagonists made me feel full just by looking at them. I gained weight just looking at them.

“……Heok!”

I was melting at the sight of the protagonists, and then something started wriggling in my arms! I panicked and almost fell forward.

“Hold, hold on! I think I sprained my foot, you go ahead!”

“Oh gosh, are you okay?”

“Of course! Please don’t mind me! I’d be more upset if you couldn’t see those two off because of me!”

“How very, very considerate of you, Miss Juliette!”

Ethan and Sarah had been busy since the new Emperor was crowned, and Claude always greeted them when they entered the mansion after work. I saw it this morning, and how lovely it was to see the three of them reunited as if they had been apart for months.

The employees of Ambrosia always wanted to be a part of that scene, so I patted the backs of my coworkers who were in a hurry but couldn’t move because they felt bad. I even saw off my coworkers with a smile as they sent me teary-eyed looks. Because I needed to get this damn thing in my arms before it started wailing.

“……Fuu.”

When my coworkers were far enough away, I quickly reached into my bosom, and I pulled out the doll that had caused all of this.

A grotesque doll with tears dripping from its eyes. Some might say it was scary, and I admit I was at first. Not now. I put my lips to the doll’s ear and whispered.

“Shut the f*ck up, f*cking Oliven, you son of a bitch. I almost want to sew up your mouth, which I thought was the best thing about you, and throw it in the Pacific Ocean, you f*cking *sshole.”

“Boo-hoo, that’s too much. I just want to ask for forgiveness…….”

“You’re trying to make people who are doing well feel bad so you can feel better about yourself? Don’t you realize that’s the unforgivable thing to do? Yeah, well, that’s why you did that shit in the novel. Just go find it out. You need to find out and ask for forgiveness.”

Oliven. This doll was the villain of the last novel I read ‘I Am the Nanny of the Villain’. He was the disciple of the female protagonist, Sarah Millen, but he was blackened and eventually sealed in a doll and abandoned in South Korea.

It was embarrassing to say, but he was my favorite. You’re thinking ‘No, why?’. I know, I know, I have bad taste. Well, folks, be careful what you wish for. You could get screwed like I did.

“What a foul mouth you have, Haeng-in. My Master isn’t like that.”

“Will you stop comparing me to Sarah?”

“Haeng-in, that’s very self-deprecating. Don’t you think you’re being harsh on yourself?”

“Meeting you and being transmigrated here was the harshest thing that ever happened to me.”

With my rough hands, I stretched the puppet horizontally and vertically. Hearing Oliven scream in pain made me feel better.

I had been feeling sick to my stomach ever since I was transmigrated into this novel. As an avid reader of romance fantasy genres, I thought I was always prepared to transmigrate at any moment, but I guess I wasn’t. This is so much worse than I thought it would be. I didn’t mean for this to happen.

“Put me back in the original world, you crazy bastard, because what if I mess with the original and the male lead, Ethan, starts liking me or Claude starts obsessing over me!”

“Haeng-in, just do one thing, whether your self-esteem is high or low.”

“It’s just like Romance Fantasy’s Law: no matter how much the transmigrator hates it, I’m bound to twist the original!”

“But, Haeng-in, you said this place has an ending, and there’s no more original material to twist. Isn’t the story already over?”

“Ah. That’s right.”

Come to think of it, this novel didn’t even have a side story. What should I do since I’ve been transmigrated into a novel that doesn’t even have a side story? No, why didn’t the author write a side story, making people so tired? If I transmigrated, I should know the future, but I didn’t know anything. My head started to spin in a tangle of thoughts.

“Is it because I transmigrated here that there’s no side story?”

“The author must be lazy.”

There was a phrase I always shouted whenever I saw a novel’s final chapter.

‘Don’t go. Don’t be happy where I can’t see you! I love that you guys have a happy ending, but let’s play together, not just you guys!’

It was kind of sad that the characters were going to be happy all the time, except for me, because I felt like I should be there to share in the aftermath of their hard journey. But maybe that was wrong, I didn’t mean to be so direct.

“Anyway, Haeng-in’s voice, shouting at the protagonists not to leave you alone, called me.”

“I said don’t leave me behind, not that I want to transmigrate!”

“That’s what it is.”

“No!”

Yes, I transmigrated here for picking up a doll that appeared out of nowhere one day and waking up the sealed Oliven inside. Into the completed novel ‘I Am the Nanny in the Villain’, the title of which was so long I was breathless to say.

“Haeng-in is always angry with me. Our contract was made because Haeng-in and I have the same desires, not for nothing.”

“No bullsh*t.”

I cut off Oliven’s bullsh*t with a firm tone.

There was no way my wishes were the same as this ungrateful black-haired, no, olive-haired brute.

“Now shut up.”

I hurriedly shoved Oliven roughly back into my arms because in the distance, Sarah, Ethan, and Claude were coming this way.

T/N: Hello, it’s Eliza. I know this chapter is half a year late, but please give the side story chapters as much love as you have been given to the main story. Thank you for your continued support and let’s all see the final chapter of Ethan, Sarah and Claude’s journey together <3
