Next morning, around ten o’clock.
“Chris hasn’t come yet.” Shen Yi lamented, as he dejectedly sank on the stool behind the bar in the cafe.
A few days ago, Chris followed his order, keeping an eye on the inn, and secretly took care of Tina.
After he fell into a dream to solve the problem, she had no further task to do. So she asked few days’ leave, saying that she had some Tu Mihua affairs to deal with.
At the time, he didn’t pay much attention and casually asked what it was.
After a long silence, she said. “Colleagues’ …… Aftermath, such as informing their loved ones, and the subsequent pension issues, there are some things that someone always has to ask for.” at the time her voice carried so much pain.
These words stunned Shen Yi, and he truly felt the sinister fangs of the inner world.
Not everyone was as special as himself, and in this battle, many lost their lives, not even knowing why they died.
The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to get rid of the Pseudo-Gods as soon as possible. A powerful monster wreaking havoc on human lives in the city was definitely something that should not be left unchecked.
“You can go.” He calmly let Chris go to take care of her things.
Now, he was eagerly waiting for her to come so that in the name of Tina, he could sell the spiritual water that he did not need on Chris’ channel.
He muttered to himself, “It would be great if I whistled and she could come running right away.”
Although he could send a text message to her to ask her to come quickly, with his “level”, he shouldn’t just do that for such a trivial matter as “the apprentice wants to sell something for money”.
Waiting another day or two wouldn’t be a big deal, anyway.
He increasingly felt that Chris was really useful, even though she was not as powerful as George and the others, but as a quasi-head snake, she had too many channels.
“As a local snake, the only thing she lacks is a strong backer… Wait a minute, it seems that Chris’s backer is me.”
In fact, he also felt that the spiritual water could not be sold at a high price. Despite its goodness, only a handful of peoples created souls in history. So despite knowing it’s wonder, not everyone could use it.
“It’s a little tricky. What kind of thing Byron sacrificed to me?”
With a sigh, he flipped through the ledger casually, but didn’t really blame Byron.
Because gods can use this thing at will, but not mortals… In Byron’s eyes, this is the case.
Was this the price of pretending to be mysteriously powerful?
Tina was receiving guests. Since it was morning, there were not many customers in the cafe.
He took out the yellowed notebook behind the bar, put it in front of him, and opened it.
Looking at the nine blank pages, he fell into deep thought.
“The first record point is the cafe. Where should the remaining nine points be recorded?”
After a little thought, he made a decision.
“The second place must be Beland Imperial College… That’s where Byron and I often meet.”
His mind wandered back to the last time when he rode the bicycle recklessly through the city.
‘I don’t want to have a next time!’ He shuddered at the thought.
“The third location is the entrance of the Anti-Magical Bureau.”
The reason was very simple, if something happened he could run to the Anti-Magic Bureau as quickly as possible – after all, it was one of the safest places in the city, and the only place that could be safer would be the royal palace.
Also, it would make it easier to report.
“The fourth location is to record outside Beland City.”
“Fifth location to be recorded in Beland Thames Harbor.”
“Sixth location to be recorded in ‘Badlands.’”
Shen Yi’s reason for choosing these three record points was very simple, that was, to facilitate the escape, as the saying goes, a sly rabbit has three holes. The more options for escape, the better it would be.
He was very sure about one thing from the very beginning, one day his “things” might come to the light, at that point, the members of the religious group or the Anti-Magical Bureau would surround the cafe three layers inside and outside. If that happened the only option would be escape.
Before that, he planned to escape at high altitudes through atomization. But even then, there was a chance of him being stopped by various magical abilities.
But now there was a better choice, just take out the “Book of Ten Travelers” and read a word.
Shen Yi nodded and said to himself: “Let’s close the shop for tomorrow and go to all these places to record. As for last for places— — let’s leave it for the time being and will do it later.”
In fact, he was quite puzzled about one thing…why the previous user did not leave any records unless they had the ability to delete the records?
Unfortunately, he did not know where this sacrifice came from. It would be great if he could get some clues.
Though it wasn’t something that was very necessary either.
“Well, it’s not easy to ask Aina, after all, according to her understanding, I should know the situation.”
Thinking so, he put away the Book of Ten Travelers again, and got up and busied himself with cafe.
Although he hired a new employee, Tina, to help him out, he didn’t slack off on his work, it’s just he had some free time.
He was busy at the café when there were a few more people.
Tina increasingly felt that this wizard teacher was very kind and actually worked with her.
She now calls Shen Yi a store manager in public and a teacher in private.
He also gave her some basic knowledge of occultism and asked her to memorize it.
In reality, he wasn’t quite sure if he could teach this cheap apprentice well …… On the one hand, Shen Yi’s knowledge was not solid, on the other hand, …… Tina’s inspiration was as blunt as a stone, she couldn’t even feel the breath of an Extraterrestrial god, she might really have nothing to do with the invisible technique.
