Spring had just arrived so I believed it was about time for me to start developing the town on the territory that His Majesty had given to me.

First, I went to Taylor-san. Taylor-san was the one who designed our house so I wanted her to design the town as well. Of course, I would be very thorough with the design. Everything from the choice of soil to the choice of equipment, I would be paying special attention to every detail of the plan.

I want a town with a nice view of a hill or a river or a lake! Let’s separate the industrial and residential areas!

Those were some of the ideas. Indeed. If we were going to live there, it would be nice to have a clean body of water with delicious fish living in it.

Back to the topic. I went ahead and deposited 50.000 gold coins in one go to Taylor-san’s account to cover the construction expenses and to build a new branch of Wolf Cub’s Apron at the capital.

The project moved on under Taylor-san’s instruction. We were thinking of sending workers to the construction site soon but at the same time, we would need to prepare capable individuals that could subdue monsters. The construction site was located in an uncharted land so there would be a risk of monsters.

Coincidentally, I had received the Blue Brigade, a vigilante group consisting of 50 adventurers commanded by Margo and Juno from Bavarian-sama. I heard Margo was in charge of managing the equipment and the group’s financial side. While Juno was in charge of the on-site stuff.

And so, I transferred 10.000 gold coins to Margo to add more funds for the vigilante group. After all, from now on, the group would have a new name. They would be referred to as Baron Wolfszarn’s army in the future. 

Sarasa would be keeping a close eye as well as Margo’s wife. I believed there would be no one more trustworthy in terms of financial management than those two.

I needed to figure out how to manage the finance and governing the territory as a whole but I guess I would probably end up relying on my merchant acquaintances in regards to money related matters.

And so, with the 50.000 gold coins I had given to Taylor-san, the 10.000 gold coins to Margo, 114.000 gold coins from His Majesty and 100.000 from Baron Alpendre for Egil Recovery Potion, the balance in my commercial guild account now stood at 204.789 gold coins.
