Chapter 63 A Sword that Runs Rampant in the Apocalypse (63)
Bai Tang let out a sigh, her eyes rolling, “Then you can shoot. If you don’t shoot, I’ll abolish all of your abilities.”
It was obvious that the man in the suit didn’t want to kill Bai Tang. He had investigated her and was very aware of her age— but as a high school student, how much could she really know? She might have seen zombies, but had she ever seen a scene where all four walls were filled with guns?
Surely her legs had gone weak by now?
But the scene the man in the suit imagined did not happen. Bai Tang walked very leisurely, not in a hurry at all.
“Miss Bai, you shouldn’t only think of yourself, but also of your elderly grandparents.”
Bai Tang’s eyes narrowed, and a hint of killing intent leaked out of her words, “I really despise people like you who use the people others care about to threaten.”
The man in the suit laughed loudly, “Great achievers do not pay attention to small details. As long as the goal can be achieved, that’s all that matters. There’s also a cripple in your room— presumably, it means something to you. You don’t want anything to happen to him, do you? So, will you agree to do it?”
Bai Tang let out a sigh of helplessness, “Did you not even inquire about me before doing this?”
With a step on the ground, a force accurately found the man in the suit, binding him layer by layer. The man in the suit’s face changed, and in the next moment, he was dragged away from the ground and returned to the closed room.
Bai Tang grabbed the man in the suit’s fragile neck with one hand and pinned him with the other, preventing him from breaking free.
“You!”
“Where does this courage come from? You’ve heard that I am not as formidable as the rumors say, and thought I was weak enough for you to trifle with? Hmm?”
Bai Tang smiled brightly, while the man in the suit couldn’t even crack a smile.
“Bai Tang, calm down!”
“No, I am calm. I don’t need you to tell me to be calm.”
Bai Tang smiled as she looked at the dense gun barrels pointing towards her. Whoever prepared them could have them back!
Suddenly, Bai Tang’s fingers tightened, and the man in the suit struggled to breathe.
The next second, she flung him away. Red lips formed two words, “Open fire.”
Bangs of gunfire erupted, coming from all directions, the bullets frighteningly numerous.
Bai Tang stood still, her face cold. The bullets could not even get close to her body, instead, it was the man in the suit who could not even utter a final word before he died.
Bai Tang elegantly kicked his body aside, her hand gathering strength before punching a wall. At the same time, she put down her defense and punched again, causing the wall to collapse and her hand to become a bloody mess.
Walking out step by step, her fist still dripping with blood, Bai Tang watched as the rest retreated in fear.
She let out a light chuckle.
“Coward,” Bai Tang’s move of killing the man in the suit was swift and decisive, leaving the aftermath to be handled by someone else. She had also dismantled some of his power, and if the leader of the base couldn’t seize this opportunity to take control, it would be a shame.
No one dared to attack Bai Tang. This woman’s bizarre and powerful actions were truly fearsome. What’s more, their abilities were all abolished!
The commotion here was quite significant. Soon, someone arrived and quickly sealed off the area.
Bai Tang slowly walked back to her room and even took the time to rub her injured hand, which now looked even more severe.
As she pushed open the door and entered, she suddenly collided with a pair of eyes. Bai Tang froze.
Shi Minzhi’s gaze was fixed on Bai Tang, his eyes immediately drawn to her injured hand. The hand was a bloody and mangled mess, with bones visible.
Shi Minzhi furrowed his brow, displeased. “Little Captain, what happened to your hand?”
As he spoke, Shi Minzhi moved closer to Bai Tang in his wheelchair.
